I avloppsvattnet förekommer både naturliga och antropogena ämnen som kan orsaka en negativ miljöpåverkan, såsom eutrofiering och en syrefattig recipient. Förekomsten av näringsämnen och organiskt material kan också vara en värdefull resurs, för det slam som återstår efter reningsstegen i avloppsreningsverket kan användas för att höja näringshalten i till exempel skogar och på åkermark. För att minska risken för skador på reningsprocessen, en negativ miljöpåverkan på recipienten genom skadliga ämnen som passerar genom avloppsreningsverket samt en negativ miljöpåverkan på grund av ett förorenat slam är det betydelsefullt att fokusera på mängden skadliga ämnen som förs till anläggningen. Syftet med examensarbetet är att kartlägga förekomsten av hushållskemikalier hos sex hushåll i Västerås som är anslutna till det kommunala reningsverket, studera befintlig litteratur som beskriver vad som sker med utvalda kemikalier då de når avloppsreningsverk i allmänhet, och sedan jämföra detta med Kungsängsverket. De sex hushållens sammanlagda antal produkter var 293 stycken, varav 66 var rengöringsprodukter, 16 tvättprodukter, 112 badrumsprodukter och 99 stycken var garageprodukter.

Under 2010 antogs en ny regionplan för stockholms län, RUFS 2010. Planens mål är att ?Stockholm ska bli Europas mest attraktiva storstadsregion?. Dialog och samverkan har varit viktiga utgångspunkter både för planprocessen och det framtida arbetet med att genomföra planen. Regionen har arbetat med att involvera kommunerna i regionplaneprocessen, bland annat som ett sätt att förankra regionplaneringens innehåll även i kommunernas egna strategiska planering.I den här studien har jag undersökt relationerna mellan medborgarna, kommunerna och regionen i planeringen, för att söka svar på frågor om makten över den strategiska planeringen, vem som har tillträde till arenorna där beslut fattas samt medborgarnas möjligheter till inflytande i den regionala planeringen.För att svara på mina frågeställningar har jag gjort en fallstudie i stockholmsregionen, där jag studerat den nya regionplanen och ett antal stockholmskommuners översiktsplaner.

Interior window shutters can be found in historical buildings, but they are an uncommon occurrence in modern buildings. In modern contemporary construction, large glass panels are often the ideal because of increased light inflow and for architectural purposes. However, this can generate several negative effects, such as increased energy loss, lack of privacy and high sunlight penetration. Problems that window shutters could have accommodated historically. This thesis identifies a lack of knowledge about interior window shutters in the Swedish building stock.

The main aim of this research is to survey the general colour scheme for private dwellings inVisby, built 1860?1930. During this period the visual appearance of the town of Visby changedsubstantially, since the increased local production of lime led to the plastering of many woodenbuildings. Which colour schemes were chosen for the different building types of the historic centreof Visby, and which colours came to dominate the time period? The methods used for answeringthese questions have partly been field studies on site and sampling of selected buildings, andpartly critical reading and observation of iconographic material (paintings, drawings, aquarelles,postcards and photographs).

Cykeln har på senare år fått en allt större roll inom transportpolitiska sammanhang. Det finns ett intresse att öka användningen av cykel, framförallt av miljö- och hälsoskäl. Därmed finns det också ett intresse för att kartlägga cykelvägar på samma sätt bilvägar är kartlagda. Om Sveriges cykelvägar fanns samlade i en databas skulle utveckling och underhåll förenklas. Det skulle även vara möjligt att ta fram informationstjänster som t.ex.

Servervirtualisering har blivit en allt vanligare syn inom IT-världen och särskilt för de som har stora serverparker eller för verksamheter som är ute efter att effektivisera och skära ner på sina kostnader. Eftersom att virtualisering tillåter konsolidering av hårdvara leder detta till en lägre energiförbrukning och behovet av stora lokaler minskar. Med servervirtualisering går det att köra samma arbetsbelastning på mindre antal servrar än det behövdes innan bytet till servervirtualisering.Då det kan vara svårt att hålla reda på vad ett virtualiseringssystem har för egenskaper och funktioner har vi i denna studie valt att göra en jämförelse mellan tre marknadsledande hypervisors från: VMware, Microsoft och Citrix. Innan jämförelsen redovisas i studiens tabeller presenteras en övergripande teoridel kring servervirtualisering och sedan en genomgång av de kategorier som ligger i fokus för jämförelsen.Studien kommer också att visa på hur en P2V-migrering går till med två av studiens virtualiseringssystem. En fysisk server med Windows Server 2012 som har webbserverollen installerad migrerades utan problem till en virtuell maskin på respektive virtualiseringssystem.

This report is written on commission by WSP Acoustics. The report studies the outdoor sound levels on school yards in Stockholm. The questions given by the company to be answered was what are the actual sound levels at diffrent school yards with low traffic noise and how can you construct a facade element that reduces the sound level from the outside and meet the indoor requirements. Mesurements for four hours was done at eight schools set north and south of the city centre. The measurement period included one school break and one lunch break.

Today there is an increasing market for businesses concerning horses, and since we are already running such establishments we sort of speak already have a finger in the pie. Due tothe increasing competition and demands, new and more practical constructions have become a necessity. In doing this project I wanted to make a comparison between having a stable integrated with a manege and having both constructions kept separate. I wanted to compare different layout and make an estimate of costs to see which solution would be less expensive and better with regard to working environment. I will further also deal with different ventilation-systems andlight transmissions.

The purpose of this project was to evaluate how energy efficiently some of JM?s residential buildings can become in standard production. What kind of measures are needed to achieve the level of energy demand that is included in BBR12 (Boverkets Byggregler)? What measures are needed for achieving a lower demand so that the buildings could be classified as passive houses? The investigation has included a single family house and two different types of apartment blocks.The simulation programs Enorm and VIP+ have been used to calculate the energy demand of the buildings. The results from the programs have been compared with the measured energy demand for the three buildings.

Passive houses are a relatively new concept in Sweden and by that it is meant a house without a traditional heating system. The most acknowledged passive house project is the terrace houses in Lindås, Gothenburg, which we have used as a reference. This project concerns a square apartment block. So far, no square apartment block has been built as a passive house in Sweden.The common opinion in the construction industry is that it is not economical to build extremely energy efficient houses. With Peab as commissioner our task was to investigate if that is true, if regarding the construction of a multi storey house as a passive houseMidroc, now owned by Peab, constructed in the block of Preussen in Jönköping during 2004-2005 four houses, with 132 apartments distributed on seven floors.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine and analyse how the public librarys mission is interpreted and formulated in a selection of library related journals. The journals are both international scientific referee journals from the LIS field and journals with a closer connection to the practitioners within the public library field. The idea is that these journals can be seen as windows to an academic theoretic perspective on public libraries, as well as to the practitioners way of talking about the librarys mission. The study also aims to examine if there is a difference in the way that the librarys mission is interpreted and discussed among theorists and among practitioners within the field. The theoretical starting-point is Ernesto Laclaus and Chantal Mouffes discourse theory, and the method is text analytic.

In recent years, moisture damages have been noticed in rendered, undrained stud walls. The design is built on the principle one-stage tightening which means that there is no air gap in the construction. The damages have occurred when water has permeated through the rendering in leaking connections and fittings for windows, doors, canopies, balconies, terraces and awnings. Behind the plaster carrier, which consists of either polystyrene or rigid mineral wool, plasterboard has often been used as a wind protection barrier. In many cases the wind protection barrier and the underlying wooden studs have been exposed to mould and in some cases even rot.

Idag leds företag av tre hörnstenar: kommunikation, informations- och dokumenthantering. Dessa begrepp hör ihop och förutspår framtiden för företaget. Detta är även ämnet som denna rapport berör. Rapporten beskriver 10 poängs examensarbete, som utförts som en del i vår utbildning.Kommunikation är alltså en mänsklig handling, något som vi gör och information är det vi utbyter genom att kommunicera med varandra. Information är något som finns överallt idag och berör oss alla på olika sätt och vis.

Att kunna gör en effektiv undersökning av det flyktiga minnet är något som blir viktigare ochviktigare i IT-forensiska utredningar. Dels under Linux och Windows baserade PC installationermen också för mobila enheter i form av Android och enheter baserade andra mobila opperativsy-stem.Android använder sig av en modifierad Linux-kärna var modifikationer är för att anpassa kärnantill de speciella krav som gäller för ett mobilt operativsystem. Dessa modifikationer innefattardels meddelandehantering mellan processer men även ändringar till hur internminnet hanteras ochövervakas.Då dessa två kärnor är så pass nära besläktade kan samma grundläggande principer användas föratt dumpa och undersöka minne. Dumpningen sker via en kärn-modul vilket i den här rapportenutgörs av en programvara vid namn LiME vilken kan hantera bägge kärnorna.Analys av minnet kräver att verktygen som används har en förståelse för minneslayouten i fråga.Beroende på vilken metod verktyget använder så kan det även behövas information om olika sym-boler. Verktyget som används i det här examensarbetet heter Volatility och klarar på papperet avatt extrahera all den information som behövs för att kunna göra en korrekt undersökning.Arbetet avsåg att vidareutveckla existerande metoder för analys av det flyktiga minnet på Linux-baserade maskiner (PC) och inbyggda system(Android).

WSP building physics in Stockholm has certified the preschool Temmelburken in Bromma with the system of certification Miljöbyggnad. The rating of the building became BRONZE. In this thesis the preschool has been investigated with respect to the three areas: thermal climate, use of energy and improving of the level of certification. The thermal climate at the preschool has been investigated by a questionnaire survey and by measurements in order to do comparisons between the results from the two investigations as well as with the results of the simulations that WSP has done at the certification of the preschool. The differences between the results from the simulations and the questionnaire survey for winter as well as from the measurement performed with a comfort meter the 19th of March are concidered to be reasonably small since they give rise to the same rating according to Miljöbyggnad.   Operational data for the use of energy for the preschool have been obtained in order to do comparisons with simulations performed by WSP and Svenska Besiktningar AB. The comparison shows that the simulated values for the specific use of energy are lower than what the real specific use of energy would be for the preschool, since just the operational data for the heat energy is higher than the simulated values. At the investigation of the possibility of improving the level of certification it was found that the rating of the preschool can be raised from BRONZE to SILVER by improving the ratings of the ?thermal climate summer? and the ?daylight?.
