The law which makes the purchase, or the attempt to purchase, temporary sexual services a criminal offence has been implemented in Sweden for more than six years. It appears as if very few, possibly no, sex-selling women have used the law to report men who have bought their services during these years. How can this be understood? With this thesis I suggest a new way of thinking on agency. A way which questions the traditional view on action whereby agency equals to act in certain, predefined ways.

Syftet för denna uppsats är att utreda och undersöka vad det krävs i ett ledarskap för att få in funktionshindrade på arbetsmarknaden. Fokus för studien är att ur ett kvalitativt perspektiv utreda samspelets betydelse mellan chef och anställd samt vilka faktorer som gör ett samarbete lyckat respektive mindre lyckat i processen med att få in funktionshindrade på arbetsmarknaden.Studien har även i syfte att bidra till den i nuläget begränsade forskningen kring ämnet.Telefonintervjuer med chefer och biträdande chefer har genomförts och resultatet i studien visar att det finns flera behov av att utveckla ledarskapet i denna process. Mer utbildning, öppnare kommunikationsklimat och högre kunskapsnivå behövs för att göra processen effektivare och mer fördelaktig. Utifrån studien har författarna tagit fram olika utvecklingsmöjligheter samt utvecklat en metod i hur man kan effektivisera och förbättra utbildningen för cheferna..

Child health care in Sweden is today automatically informed of newborns in the district and itis therefore natural for the maternal and child health nurses to contact and invite the new family to the child welfare clinic. So far the social services in the studied county have not reported new adoptive families to the child welfare clinics; instead the families have to contact the clinic themselves. The aim of this study was to investigate how social services inform the child welfare clinics of new adoptive families. The aim was also to investigate how and when the maternal and child health nurse thinks that contact should be established and what information/knowledge she feels a need of in contact with new adoptive families. The study has a qualitative design and interviews have been conducted with social workers, a representative of an adoption agency and maternal and child health nurses working in child welfare clinics.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how companies that sell financial services can reach people in the younger audience. The financial services that we refer to are regarding banking and insurance for private users, and with the younger audience we refer to people in the age of 18 to 25. We think that this is a valid and interesting issue to study because of the common thoughts that persons in this age are common users of Internet, social medias and new technology. The main question through our study has been; ?How a financial company can attract the younger generation, and support their creation of value?" Our research is based on a qualitative method.

I denna uppsats kommer vi att med utgångspunkt i ett mångkulturellt samhälle lägga vikten på hur elever och barn utan det svenska språket integreras och inkluderas i förskolan och grundskolan. För att tydliggöra arbetet kommer vi att fokusera på det sociokulturella perspektivet. Vi kommer att undersöka hur lärare och skolledare använder sig av, och deras syn på integreringen och inkluderingen av nyanlända elever i förskolan och grundskolan. Med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer vill vi belysa och undersöka hur skolledare och lärare förhåller sig till integreringen och inkluderingen av elever med ett annat modersmål. Sammanfattnings-vis pekar resultatet på att det finns många vägar till en bra integration och inkludering av barn och elever i förskola och skola.

Syftet med denna studie är att belysa talet om idrottens betydelse för upplevelsen av integration bland ungdomar i 2000-talets Sverige. Studien bygger på tre fokusgruppsintervjuer med ungdomar som är 15 år och spelar fotboll i Assyriska FF, hemmahörande i Södertälje. Centralt har varit att belysa hur pojkarna beskriver sig själva i ljuset av att de ingår i ett etniskt definierat fotbollslag, och vilken roll de tillskriver tillhörigheten till ett sådant lag när det gäller upplevelsen av delaktighet i det svenska samhället. Vår studie knyter teoretiskt an till identitet, etnicitet och integration.Studien visar att en treenighet bestående av Familjen, Föreningen och Församlingen är centrala när det gäller skapandet av dessa ungdomars normer och värderingar. Vi har sett att denna treenighet också spelar en stor roll för ungdomarnas identitetsskapande, både vad gäller synen på sig själva som individer och för hur de ser på assyrier som etnisk grupp.

This thesis was performed as assignment from Fazer Food Services. The aim was to survey which food additives that were present in the products in the quotation list of one of their suppliers to the Education and Nursing segment. The aim also was to perform a theoretical analysis of these food additives and to make recommendations which food additives are acceptable and which should be excluded from the products in the future. The recommendations are not published in this report, for more information Fazer Food Services can be contacted. Food additives which have already been approved are regarded as safe according to the safety evaluation methods available at the time of approval.

In this essay, I research and discuss new spirituality (or what is commonly known as New Age) within some congregations in the Church of Sweden, Gothenburg. I question how and why this new spirituality has come to be accepted in parts of the Church. My hypothesis is that the church is a part, and a reflection, of a larger change throughout society, and I claim that this change depends much on the individualization and globalization during the last decades.The research is conducted through interviews with representatives from the Church ofSweden who are in charge of new religious activities. During these interviews we discuss their views on the change that has already taken place and is going on today.The interviews are then analyzed by applying rational choice theory on them. I discusswhether the Church can be seen as a producer of goods and services and if the churchgoers canbe seen as consumers of these goods and services.

I vår studie hade vi som syfte att undersöka hur verksamma pedagoger arbetar för att skapa en god lärandemiljö för andraspråkselever. Studiens fokus ligger på att se hur lärare arbetar för andraspråkelevernas integration, språkutveckling och ämnesinlärning samt att undersöka om dessa arbetar utifrån någon vedertagen undervisningsmodell och således känner till forskning och pedagogik som främjar andraspråksinlärning . För att ta reda på hur pedagoger arbetar med andraspråkselever ute i skolverksamheten valde vi att utföra en intervjustudie där vi intervjuade sex verksamma ämneslärare som undervisar i klasser där andraspråkselever ingår. Vår studie visar att de intervjuade lärarna inte har formell kompetens för andraspråksundervisning då de inte arbetar utifrån någon vedertagen undervisningsmodell som är riktad mot andraspråksinlärare. Vi finner dock att flera av de intervjuade pedagogerna arbetar aktivt för andraspråkselevernas integration och språkutveckling genom diverse stödinsatser..

The aim of this masters thesis is to study the reliability of the URL as the link between a bibliographic record and a web resource. The Swedish catalogue services LIBRIS and NetSök have been evaluated on three different occasions, to study how these services have succeeded in giving access to web resources by using URLs. Because URLs are changeable, we have tried to find out common characteristics of the URLs in broken links. To accomplish this study we have used a quantitative approach and evaluated five percent of the web resources in the catalogues using a random selection. We have also used documentation relevant for our study, among other things to illustrate previous studies of the nature of web resources and alternative solutions to URLs as access points to web resources.

TitleFactors for success : a study of school libraries at compulsory schools and how to integrate them in the educationAbstractThis Master's thesis aims to identify success factors for the integration of school libraries in the education. The search for factors are concentrated to three areas: control documents for the school and school library, the Principal and organisation and the collaboration of librarians and teachers.The method consists of three parts: a documetary study, a questionnaire survey and interviews. The documentary study aimed to reveal how concrete control documents for schools and school libraries are concerning pupils' information literacy and school libraries. The questionnaire survey gave a general view of the situation of school libraries in Skåne and to help identify two suitable objects for closer examination. Gunnesboskolan and Rönnowskolan were chosen, and the principals, the school librarians and teachers representing different subjects were interviewed.Our results indicate that there are important factors in all three areas examined.

The study deals with the beliefs that relatives of alcohol and drug dependent persons, and representatives from social services have to the various forms of support available for the relatives. Those who participate in the study points out that there are many people who have a need for support as a relative of an alcohol or drug addicted individual, but that there are circumstances that make them choose not to seek assistance. The study shows that the relatives can experience a reluctance to seek support from social services because of how the organization looks like. The study is qualitative, where the collection of the empiric material has consisted in six semi-structured interviews. Three of them have been with relatives of alcohol-or drug-dependent persons and three have been with social workers in various professions, whose work consists of helping both the relatives of people with alcohol and drug dependence as well as people who are dependent.

This study has an integration policy direction as it focuses on the qualification for the new arrivals to quickly establish themselves in the labor market, and how the government's interventions, which in this case is the establishment reform, have affected municipalities and what its role is in this context. The purpose of the establishment reform is to faster the new arrivals integration in to the labor market. The aim of this study is to analyze the interaction factors that is affecting the integration of new arrivals into the labor market by study the professionals opinions on the interplay between involved organizations in two municipalities before and after the establishment reform. Studies have shown that the establishment reform has not achieved its goal and the purpose is to analyze the aspects behind this problem. The results of the study were analyzed with help of the interaction theory and the new institutional theory which is a part of the organization theory. An important aspect in the results of our study is the deficiency with the interaction between the participating organizations that obstruct the new arrivals path to becoming self-contained. In order to identify the problem, the study focuses on the co-operation among two communities in Sweden with the new arrivals way into the labor market.
