I takt med att antalet mobiltelefoner har ökat har även efterfrågan på fler tjänster för dessa ökat. Detta är en av anledningarna till att WAP-tekniken skapats och att den har fått så stor uppmärksamhet. WAP, Wireless Application Protocol, är ett kommunikationsprotokoll som gör det möjligt att utveckla tjänster för mobila klienter. Den har utvecklats genom ett samarbete mellan en mängd olika företag och är idag en öppen standard. För att kunna utnyttja den nya tekniken och anpassa nya tjänster bör man tänka på vissa faktorer såsom begränsningar gällande klienten, säkerhet och gränssnittet mot användaren.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the possibility to make small, cheap and ultra low power sensor platforms, connected in wireless networks for monitoring of home and industrial environments. The concept is based on ideas from our supervisor, Jerry Lindblom. The developed system consists of a generic platform for different sensors, a receiver and software. A GPRS module from RO Rollytech AB and a database from Gema Industri AB have been modified and used to demonstrate an example of a complete system. To the platform, it is possible to connect any resistive sensor and any sensor that can act as a switch.

We also changed the script language from python to PHP.The search engine ability has been extended with three new search alternatives for a user to choose from. Each choice leads to other, sometimes multiple choices.A GUI has been created for the administrator, to be able to insert information into the database.The structure of the search engine is primarily for narrowing down the search result on the phone display, thereby making the search efficient..

Denna studie tacklar ett av de problem som modern IP-telefoni brottas med, som gör att det är svårare att konkurrera med traditionell telefoni: fördröjningar på grund av otillräckliga Session Initiation Protocol-servrar (SIP). Genom tester av de viktigaste faktorerna jämförs fyra högaktuella Open Source SIP-servrar: OpenSIPS, Kamailio, FreeSWITCH och Yate. Avsikten är att underlätta valet av SIP-server för nya applikationer inom IP-telefoni, öka prestandan samt snabba på utvecklingen. Studien behandlar de intressantaste faktorerna vid val SIP, såsom användarvänlighet, hastighet, lagring av användardata samt ljudkvalité. Slutsatsen blev att Kamailio stod som klar segrare, med överlägsna resultat i jämförelse med övriga servrar, på de parametrar som valts ut.

Att avsluta behandlingen för tidigt kan också orsaka lidande och därför är tydliga kriterier för att verifiera urträning och extubation, borttagande av ventilatorn och endotrakealtuben är viktiga aspekter i vården och omvårdnaden av patienten.SyfteSyftet med studien var att identifiera kriterier för att verifiera lyckade eller misslyckade urträningar och extubationer hos intensivvårdspatienter och att undersöka vilka bedömningsprotokoll för detta som används.MetodMetoden har varit en (deskriptiv) litteraturöversikt med systematisk ansats. Sökning har gjorts i databasen PubMed. Vid sökningen hittades 627 artiklar och av dessa inkluderas 17 artiklar i studien.ResultatResultatet visar att det finns flera kriterier för att verifiera lyckade eller misslyckade urträningar och extubationer, men de mest uttalade kriterierna var, hemodynamisk status, inställda/uppmätta ventilatorvärden, blodgasvärden, det mentala/neurologiska tillståndet hos patienten och spontant andningstest (SBT).SlutsatsKriterier och dess protokoll är viktiga redskap för vårdpersonalen för att avgöra när det är dags att börja urträning och förbereda för extubation av den ventilatorbehandlade patienten. .

The protocol is obligating the developed countries to decrease their emissions of greenhouse gases by 5.2 percent during the time period 2008-2012.

Sow shoulder lesions are a common form of decubital ulcers in sows. The wounds are often bilateral and affect both loose housed and restrained sows. In most cases shoulder lesions develop after farrowing and heal after weaning. Sows that once have had decubital ulcera are however more proned to develop new wounds after the next farrowing. The problem is multifactorial and a number of risk factors have been described, including body condition, body size, parity, time spent lying down, flooring, moisture, breed, body temperature and some herd factors. The aim of this study was to investigate whether the height of the tuber spina scapulae is a risk factor for the development of decubital ulcers.

This report describes the construction and development of a control box, which is a tool for testing and verifying a certain model of Rapid?s built in staplers (model A6102). Basically the function of the control box is to interpret any errors that may occur in the stapler and to make it possible to test fire the stapler.The control box should be able to communicate with the stapler using a specialized communication protocol. The different data such as errors, firmware etc. from the stapler is presented in plain language on a display.
