Det pågår en transformering av svenska stridskrafter till följd av en förändradomvärldsbild och en teknisk utveckling. Obemannade farkoster studeras och bedömskunna tillföra värdefulla förmågor.Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka nyttan med små UAV-system för bataljonsnivånvid en internationell militär operation. De fyra utvalda basfunktionerna ledning,underrättelser, verkan och skydd utgör analysfaktorer.Uppsatsens resultat omfattar en kontextuell del och en teknisk del. Den omfattar även envärdering av små UAV-system i ett typfall, strid i bebyggelse. Uppsatsen visar att detfinns ett flertal uppgifter inom basfunktionerna, som små UAV-system kan lösa medvarierad förmåga.

A growing population together with a change in food habits to a more diverse diet containing more animal products such as meat and milk makes the possibility to produce and sell products of cattle a growing market. And at the same time there is an ongoing debate about global warming, where raising cattle is questioned due to their high production of enteric methane. To be able to raise animals in a more environmental friendly way and at the same time improve productivity in a developing country such as Vietnam would be favorable. The use of feed additives with high electron affinity could decrease the methane production and at the same time improve the gross energy digested. Nitrate and Sulfur are both good electron acceptors, but due to its toxic effects the use of nitrate in feed has been neglected.

Att införa lean principer inom sjukvården är ett relativt nytt område. Landstinget i Gävleborg och Gävle sjukhus är intresserade av att korta ner sina vårdköer med hjälp av logistiska metoder och lean production principer. Detta på grund av att vårdköerna på bland annat urologmottagningen på Gävle sjukhus bara växer. Lean production är ett koncept som ursprungligen härstammar från bilindustrin i Japan och innebär att man strävar efter att göra mer med mindre. På svenska kan lean production översättas till resurssnål produktion och arbetet med lean innefattar principer som kunden i fokus, teamarbete och ständiga förbättringar.Syftet med examensarbetet är att ta fram en arbetsmodell för införande av lean principer inom sjukvården, då vårdköerna idag är långa och någon form av förändring är nödvändig.

This study has been carried out at Södra´s 31 local forestry districts and within six plant terminals. The production and sale of seedlings at Södra is managed in collaboration with ?Södra Odlarna?. Approximately 35 million plants are cultivated each year, providing Södra´s members with a wide choice of high quality plants. The seedlings are nurtured at nurseries before transferred to plant terminals where they are stored and watered.

Femsjö is a small parish situated in Hylte municipality, Växjö diocese. The parish has a total area of 8230 ha of which 5000 ha are covered with forest. There have not been any large industries in the parish offering work opportunities for the inhabitants, so they have had to generate income from their land and the forest. Instead of going to the bank to get a bank loan the people of Femsjö parish went out in to the forest and harvested trees for timber and extra cash revenue. Production of pine tar and potash were two other ways that the residents of Femsjö parish could earn extra money for the household in order to keep starvation away.

This report is about logistic efficiency in companies without own production. The authors have interviewed employees working at two companies, Telias store in Skärholmen and Orion Diagnostica AB. The purpose of the report is to find out which logistic functions the two companies are using to create efficiency.Today?s markets are more global. Gamification är en strategi som använder spelmekanismer och spelkomponenter för att skapa motivation och engagemang hos användare av olika typer av system. Denna studie syftar till att undersöka om gamification kan användas för att motivera användare av system för tillverkningsindustrin.Studien har genomförts med en initial litteraturstudie och kvalitativa intervjuer med experter inom gamification samt utveckling av system för tillverkningsindustrin. Intervjufrågor har därefter ställts mot tidigare genomförd forskning, för att identifiera möjliga resultat.Resultatet av denna studie visar att spelmekanismer och spelkomponenter skulle kunna användas i ett system för tillverkningsindustrin, förutsatt att det finns ett tydligt affärsmål, mätbar och användbar data samt identifierade drivkrafter hos organisationens maskinoperatörer. Vidare har ett antal punkter identifierats som kan vara motiverande för en användare av system för tillverkningsindustrin:Möjlighet för operatörerna att följa utvecklingen i sitt expertområdeKartläggning av operatörernas drivkrafter, vilken därefter används för att förbättra operatörernas arbetssituation, med exempelvis mer givande uppgifterBelöningar som utdelas är matchade mot operatörernas preferenser, med syfte att vara mer effektiva som motivationsskapare.

This paper is a study of documentary film production with focus on the filmmakers choice and usage of sound equipment. Using professional articles and literature have first of all helped us determine a standard for the conventional use of sound equipment in documentary film. Afterwards, by analyzing our own interviews we?ve received answers on how filmmakers relate to the conventional usage and why they select equipment as they do. Thereafter, we describe a technical method which helps a filmmaker to be able to record sound for documentary film on his/her own, using simple measures without reducing quality.

This report describes a master thesis performed at Saab in Arboga. The main purpose was to build a controller for a system containing a turn table and an antenna beam. The idea is to use this system on a boat where it will be exposed to position disturbances due to waves. The desired behaviour is that antennas placed on the antenna beam should point towards the same target all the time. To solve this problem the system has been modeled and simulated in Matlab and Simulink.

The use of fossil fuels such as coal and gas are a contributor to the global warming. The climate change is a worldwide problem with far reaching consequences that is believed to be very expensive. The United Nations has been introducing a framework convention on climate change. One component of the convention is the Kyoto protocol. The protocol is obligating the developed countries to decrease their emissions of greenhouse gases by 5.2 percent during the time period 2008-2012.

A system for sampling of alcohol and aldehyde from diluted exhaust gases from vehicles powered by ethanol has been developed and tested. The major part of the work has been research of earlier work in the field and the construction of the sampling system.The part of the system constructed for the measurement of alcohol has been shown to work, however, more test should be performed. The part of the system constructed for the measurement of aldehyde was tested parallel to a commercially available system, based on the same principle of measurement, and has been shown to work well.Determination of the concentration of gaseous ethanol using a FID has shown the since earlier known fact that a FID is not able to measure a correct concentration of ethanol. Furthermore it has been shown that high concentrations of gaseous ethanol can not be kept in a bag more than a few minutes without a substantial decrease of the measured concentration..

This thesis analyzes the effects of export subsidies on Swedish cereal export. The analyzes are based on data on cereal export from Sweden to countries outside the EU from 1990 to 2003. In 1995 Sweden became a member of the European Union. Before the membership, the Swedish agricultural policy was decoupled in a larger sense than the European CAP was, which means that the Swedish producers had decreased their production more than the European farmers. When Sweden became a member of the EU the production started to increase again to an EU level.
