Rapporten betraktar energisystemen vid Göteborg Energi (GE) och Volvo Cars, Torslanda. De två systemen integreras som ett system och inverkan av olika åtgärder betraktas. Huvudsyftet är att minska systemkostnaden för det totala systemet.Arbetet är genomfört med kraftbonusmetoden, en marginalsyn på el där all ny elproduktion beräknas ersätta kolkondensproducerad el. Allokeringen för utsläpp vid kraftvärmeproduktion är också beräknad med kraftbonusmetoden.För simulering har optimeringsprogrammet Modest använts. En konstruktion av datormodeller av energisystemen vid Göteborg Energi och Volvo Cars har gjorts.

Background: The literature concerning M&A has thus far concentrated on the merging companies, and on what kind of effects an acquisition has on these companies. The effects on the involved companies´ (customers and) suppliers have largely been ignored in the M & A literature. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyse how the suppliers relationships to the aquired company are influenced by an acquisition and how the suppliers handle the following situation. Method: The paper has been carried out in the form of a case-study and we have interviewed some suppliers to the automotive industry. Results: The full effect on the suppliers relationships to Volvo has not been seen yet, due to the fact that only two years has passed since the acquisition and that the current products have a lifecycle of 3-5 years.

I den här kandidatuppsatsen undersöks storytelling som kommunikationsform på Volvo Personvagnar. Studien presenterar organisationsberättelser som karaktäriserar företaget samt dess funktioner och betydelser. Vidare lyfter studien fram storytelling som verktyg för att påverka en publiks uppfattningar. Inspiration till ämnet inhämtas från nutida forskare och storytelling relateras till kommunikativa uttryck och meningsskapande.Studiens empiri består av intervjuer av anställda på Volvo samt pr-konsulter med inblick i företaget. Empirin innefattar även en semiotisk analys av reklamannonser.

This paper deals with archery in the Viking Age settlement of Birka and in particular the presence of Euro Asiatic, steppe nomadic archery equipment at the Birka Garrison and one Birka grave. The equipment contains for example closed quivers and a bow case. This paper also contains a discussion of archery battle techniques and tactics in Viking Age Birka and the implications of the above mentioned equipment to this discussion. Visionen är att leverera världsledande transportlösningar genom ständig förbättring och långsiktig utveckling av verksamheten, vilket för det dagliga arbetet innebär systematisk problemlösning genom metodiken praktisk problemlösning, vars ursprung är Toyota.Syftet med studien var att undersöka huruvida Volvo Aeros tillämpning av praktisk problemlösning var enkel, systematisk och vägledande, vilket ur Toyotas perspektiv ger förutsättning för effektiv problemlösning.Inledningsvis beskrevs Toyotas inställning och beteende till problemlösning utifrån The Toyota Way, som sedan följdes upp med en litteraturstudie gällande praktisk problemlösning. Vidare genomfördes en pilotstudie där Volvo Aeros tillämpning av praktisk problemlösning applicerades på ett organisatoriskt problem. Därefter utvärderades pilotstudien och förbättringsområden identifierades där metodiken var svår, otydlig och otillräckligt vägledande. Slutligen föreslogs följande förbättringar gällande Volvo Aeros tillämpning av praktisk problemlösning, vilka var vetenskapligt förankrade till Toyota.Definiering och analysering av symtomen ger förståelse för problemets orsaker.Kvantifiering av nuvarande tillstånd och det förväntades åskådliggör problemets omfattning.Framgår grundorsaken tydligt är sannolikt motåtgärden uppenbar.En god tillämpning av Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) utgör ett effektivt och kraftfullt maskineri för ständig förbättring.Förbättringarna som föreslogs syftade till att förenkla Volvo Aeros metodik och ge användaren ökad trygghet och vägledning, vilket ger förutsättning för effektiv problemlösning som möjliggör daglig tillämpning och främjar ständig förbättring. .

ABSTRACTThe discussions about energy use have increased year by year everywhere in the society, and so also in the healthcare sector. But what is actually energy use in a hospital facility, and what affects it?The typical way today to express the energy use is in kWh/m2. The problem with a key performance indicator that is expressed as energy use in relation to a specific area is that it does not take into account the activity in the building. Even though the activity to a very high extent affects the energy use.

Dust that arises during the construction process is called ?construction dust?.People who are exposed for construction dust for a long period of time are atrisk to develop several forms of lung problems, allergies and cancer. Todayconstruction dust is a huge problem during the production in Skanska´srenovation projects. Every day workers are exposed of the unhealthyconstruction dust and it can cause lung problems and diseases after 10-30years. This is a problem that must be taken into account to obtain a betterworking environment on Skanska´s building sites.Skanska Sweden AB has given two students the task to investigate possibleproblems about the spreading of construction dust.

Ut från detta resonemang har vi tagit reda på hur den svenska bilmarknaden ser ut och vilka konkurrensstrategier det finns. Därefter har en svensk biltillverkare undersökts: Volvo Personvagnar AB. Detta för att ta reda på vilka värdeskapande faktorer de använder sig av för att kunden ska välja just dem bland alla konkurrenter.Syftet har varit att belysa Volvo Personvagnars värdeskapande faktorer och ta reda på om dessa faktorer uppfattas av kunderna på det sätt Volvo Personvagnar önskar. Undersökningen har skett genom intervjuer med Volvoanställda och återförsäljare samt en enkätundersökning med kunder.

This thesis describes the redesign ofequipment designed for drying bags thatis used in Fresenius Kabis´manufacturing of their nutritionmedicine in Uppsala. The need of thistask arise during the start of thedevelopment of a new packaging line werethis equipment were meant to be used. Anevaluation of the bagdryers capacity andcapability was necessary.The work started with gathering ofinformation from suppliers of the usedcomponents and from the responsibleengineers for this equipment. Aneducation to learn how the equipmentworked and how to operate it were taken.That was followed by the creation of astudy plan were the tests were plannedto test different parameters effect onthe drying result and to see if thebagdryer managed to handle the bags ofthe correct format in the pace that theequipment should be designed for.The test results detected a need ofdesigning a unit with a function thatholds the bags in place while passingthrough the dryer in order to attainhigh quality results. The results werelater used for optimization of thedesign.

The purpose of this thesis was to develop and optimize a method of analysis for combustion of organic chemical products, followed by an ion chromatographic quantitative analysis. This was to be achieved with the decomposition equipment IKA AOD 1. The aim was to receive a precise and repeatable method that would be able to be applied to the process of qualification and technical marking of chemical products at the company, OKG AB in Oskarshamn. A complete instruction for the decomposition equipment and the method of analysis was written. A number of parameters were chosen from the general method of the combustion equipment, which then was tested parallel with a simultaneous development of an appropriate ion chromatographic method.
