This essay is about the mobilization that have arisen due to the mining activities being planned in Norra Kärr, just outside of Gränna in the northern part of the county of Jönköping, Sweden. This study is based on the association Aktion Rädda Vättern and members of the associatons? individual thoughts and experiences of their possibility to success. Interviews were carried out with members of the association. The theoretical basis lies within the theory of political opportunity structure and the defintion of the same by Sidney Tarrow.

Syftet med vår forskning är att undersöka huruvida människors uppfattning av en logotyp är beroende av dess färgsättningen. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats med ett induktivt förhållningssätt. Empirin vi har använt oss av har vi samlat in genom tjugoåtta intervjuer, vilka har legat till grund för vårt fortsatta arbete. De teorier vi valt att använda oss av behandlar färg i kombination med känslor, logotypers utformning, omedvetna och medvetna färgupplevelser samt samspelet mellan färg och form. Dessa teorier har använts för att analysera våra intervjuer och för att sedan dra slutsatser.

It is important for every store to have a good financial performance which can be affected by the average purchase and the number of customers in the store. Customers shopping experience can affect both of these factors and therefore it is important for retailers to know about how an in-store environment can affect this experience. The purpose of this study is to give retailers an indication of the importance of consumers' shopping experience and how this may affect the store's financial performance. To study this subject an in-store survey was conducted in four grocery stores in Stockholm where a total of 320 consumers answered a total of 41 questions about their shopping experience. By sales data it was possible to conduct a statistical analysis to see which variables regarding consumers shopping experience influenced the average purchase.

The purpose of this study was to increase the level of knowledge in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for wind power. The study includes six wind power farms in the County of Västerbotten in northern Sweden. The main questions were: What are the real dimensions of roadways and land claims for both roads and wind power turbines? How do those dimensions correlate with the dimensions stated in the EIA? Are there any differences in values of the dimensions between the wind power farms that are included in this study? The width of the roadways and the land claims for both roads and wind turbines in wind power farms were examined on site. The results from the examinations were compared with the dimensions available in the EIA for each wind power farm.

Barn ska få möjligheten att växa upp med, och uppleva, vuxna sammanhang samt visuell komplexitet i sin omgivning. Utan dessa utbyten och objekt i sin omgivning utvecklas barns delaktighet i samhället som ansvarsfulla medborgare långsammare. Detta är projektets utgångspunkt. Förskolan Bullerbyn är, precis som namnet tyder på, en liten by med olika verksamheter där förskolan ligger i fokus med en central gård. Barnen kommer i kontakt med vuxna som arbetar i byggnaderna intill: bageriet levererar bröd och fika, restaurangen lagar mat till lunchen, ett snickeri delas med ateljéerna, utställningslokalen drar till sig både vuxna och barn i sin verksamhet och kontorsfolket kommer och går genom uteplatsen.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att ta reda på om ett familjearbete med placerade ungdomar och deras familjer, på SiS ungdomshem Folåsa, påverkar ungdomarnas upplevelse av oro/besvär inom områden så som familj och psykisk hälsa.Genom en analys av ungdomarnas svar på inskrivnings-, utskrivnings-, samt uppföljnings-ADAD- intervjuer har jag sökt svaren på frågeställningarna.När ungdomarna själva skattar så upplever de att det är bättre eller mycket bättre inom de flesta av de livsområden som ADAD avser att undersöka. Det visar sig att ungdomarna upplever mindre konflikter i hemmet efter behandlingen. De har även en mindre oro för problem inom området familj när uppföljningsintervjun görs ca ett år efter utskrivning. Oron för den psykiska hälsan har dock ökat något från inskrivning till uppföljning.Ungdomar anser sig i stor utsträckning fått hjälp med de problem de velat ha hjälp med, och endast två (2/ 26) av ungdomarna har vistats på annan behandlingsinstitution efter Folåsa..

In this Bachelor?s essay we discuss whether eWOM (electronic word-of-mouth) is perceived as advertisement or as normal information, which is not influenced by any company, on the platform Facebook. The information which we were interested in is the one spread by normal users, and user?s perception of it. To find our results we have conducted a study in which we have used the method interview, which gives qualitative results.

KKS includes difficulties hearing speech in background noise although results from pure toneaudiometry are normal. The condition is also called ?Obscure Audiotory Dysfunction? and?Auditory disability with normal hearing?. KKS affects a heterogeneous group. We believethere is a need for synthesis of existing studies to acknowledge the condition in Sweden toimprove rehabilitation for the affected individuals.

The study aims to gain insight into how social workers perceive their psychosocial work environment and examine whether this effects the performance of their duties. The study mainly addresses the shortcomings of the psychosocial work environment of Social Services and the implications it entails for social workers health and wellbeing. The psychosocial work environment includes physical and psychological factors therefore the study's interpretive framework consists of organizational theoretical and social psychological concepts and previous research on the subject. We examined the organizational and social psychological connections to social workers perception of their work environment with a qualitative approach. The empirical data was collected through interviews with four social workers in a municipality in central Sweden using a semi-structured interview guide.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how students in a Swedishjunior high school (grade 7-9) view their possibility to participate in thecollection management of their school library, and how the schoollibrary works to involve the students when purchasing media. The studyhas resulted in a model for easy and effective involvement of studentsin the collection development.To achieve this aim both quantitative and qualitative methods are used.A survey in three classes in the school, observations at the schoollibrary and a qualitative interview with the library assistant have beenperformed. The collection management at the school library isdescribed using the School Library Taxonomies developed by DavidLoertscher and two models for participation developed by Roger A Hartand Harry Shier. In the survey, the students are asked about their libraryand reading habits, their perception of their own participation in thecollection management of the library and their opinions of theimportance of student participation in the library.The results show that all students view the possibility of participation as something important, but not all of the students are willing to be active themselves. The proposed model for effective involvement of students in the library focuses on simplicity, voluntariness, distinct information and visible results..

The aim of this study was to investigate the leaving care services provided to youth leaving residential care in Sweden. Through the use of qualitative research interviews residential care workers perception of what practical and emotional needs youth leaving care have, and whether current aftercare services meet these needs, were examined. The study further sought to compare the swedish and english leaving care services. The main findings of the study were that the residential care workers interviewed expressed that they had a good working relationship with the local social services and that they through the residential care services were able to provide some degree of aftercare. They further identified loneliness as the most prominent emotional need of youth had after leaving care.

Nationalmuseum är ett statligt konstmuseum som ligger på Blasieholmen i centrala Stockholm i en byggnad från år 1866. Idag har en omfattande renovering och ombyggnation påbörjats, dels för att återställa byggnadens gamla arkitektoniska värden men också för att anpassa byggnaden till dagens högt ställda krav på utställningsmiljöer. Målet är att hela den gamla museibyggnaden ska användas till publika ändamål. På grund av detta behöver muséet byggas ut för att kunna inrymma den kontorspersonal och de verkstäder som verksamheten kräver.Detta projekt handlar om att utforma och gestalta den tillbyggnad som Nationalmuseum behöver. Förslag är en fristående byggnadsvolym som kopplas till Nationalmuseum under mark i det nordligaste hörnet.

The aim of this study was to identify and analyze the dominating discourse in the preliminary work of the Sex Purchase Act. In order to achieve the aim of this study we selected preliminary work of the Sex Purchase Act that was produced between 1977 and 1999. The selection is based on the fact that prostitution began to be recognized as a social problem and a gender equality issue between men and women in society. The ongoing debate during the chosen years resulted in the Sex Purchase Act, which was passed in 1999. By using discourse analysis as a methodological and theoretical approach, we have empirically studied and theoretically analyzed the dominating discourse in the preliminary work of the Sex Purchase Act.

Under 2005 och 2008 inventerades förekomsten av större vattensalamander(Triturus cristatus) i Gävleborgs län. Ett till synes isolerat fynd gjordes väster om Hofors. Inventeringarna utfördes med flaskfällor och visuell observation och lokaler valdes via kartblad enligt kriterier på vattenytans areal, rörelse och distans till väg. Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka huruvida den observerade isoleringen var faktisk eller endast ett resultat av den använda inventeringsmetodiken. Detta arbete baserades på en radie kring en känd population där radien baserades på spridningsdistans, mognadsålder samt tid sedan den förra studien. Lokaler valdes sedan ut inom radien med krav på areal vattenyta och förekomsten av stillastående vatten varpå inventeringar utfördes med flaskfällor.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the subject matter of visual communication in presentation brochures of two Swedish regions: Region Halland and Region Dalarna. My focuses are the following questions: what is the aim of the brochures and in what ways does the visual material relate to that aim? How can strategic communication be defined through a visual perspective and in what ways is it useful in the context of presentation brochures of the regions? What sort of communicational functions are specific for the visual material in relation to the written language of the brochures? Lead by these questions, I start by analyzing the brochures through a textual analysis and a social semiotic approach. The result shows that the aim seems to be both political and commercial, but that the visual elements relate more strongly to the commercial aim than to the political aim by the way they strive to present a positive image of the region. The visual elements work in strategic ways that I define as visual strategies.
