Mitt projekt har gått ut på att producera en ljudberättelse för barn utifrån en befintlig utgiven bok. Jag har varit i kontakt med flertalet svenska bokförlag för att hitta ett lämpligt material att arbeta med samt har kommit överens med ett av dem att få ta del av deras utgivna verk, och bearbeta det enligt de överenskommelser vi arbetat fram tillsammans. Jag har sökt och sållat bland otaliga röstskådespelare runtom i landet efter de röstkaraktärer jag eftersökt för rollerna i ljudberättelsen och spelat in och handlett dem jag ansåg vara passande i Studio NetPort i Karlshamn. Jag har skapat egenkomponerad musik och ljudeffekter till ljudberättelsen, och spelat in dem både i Studio Netport samt i min egen hemstudio. Idén med projektet var att eftersträva en kommersiell produktion så mycket som bara möjligt, vilket jag till största del har gjort även om slutresultatet i detta projekt inte skulle bli det så har produktions- arbetet utifrån min sida blivit behandlat precis som om det vore det.

The theoretical framework is based on some of the key scholars assumptions such as Michel Chion (1994) and Claudia Gorbman (1987), who share the same theoretical views that the soundtrack seems powerful when it expresses its participation in a scene?s emotional moods as the music follows the scene?s rhythm, the image?s flow and contributes emotional and musical codes of emotions and expressions. According to Chion sound and image interact together to tell a story where sound enrich the image with expressive and informative values.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to illuminate and analyze the working conditions of visual artists in the Swedish region of Värmland. As a profession which is known to have many problems concerning income and the fact that most artist are unable to get by on their art sales alone it becomes interesting to look closer on cultural policy?s affecting the artists, where the problems lie and what possible help they can get.I have used previous research and different sources to map out the working conditions in Sweden and Värmland alike and also interviewed five different visual artists in Värmland to get a general view of the working conditions in the country as a whole and their perception of the situation and special circumstances in Värmland. I have also used discourse analysis to compare the source material with the answers of my respondents to see which discourses that exists, that have hegemony, and to see how this subject is talked about.The results of this study showed how political decisions may force artists to become self-employed entrepreneurs even though many artists do not self-identify as such or even have any interest in profitable gain. The study also shows among other things that most artists have another occupation on the side but that there are some aids to help the artists with income.

Plåtbyn är en samling konstnärsbostäder med tillhörande studio samt en utställningslokal sammanbyggda för 5 Iaspisstipendiater med eventuella familjer Som nordöst om Borgen på Ladugårdsgärdet. Beroende på vilken fas konstnärens arbete befinner sig i verkar studion som relä mellan privat och offentligt. .

Vad är det som påverkar en musikers prestation i inspelningsstudion? Vilka av dessa faktorer kan jag som producent påverka under ett inspelningsprojekt? Syftet med uppsatsen är i första hand att utforma en metod för att ta reda på faktorer som jag kan påverka och på så vis höja prestationen hos musikern. Den praktiska delen består av tre olika inspelningstillfällen i DAVES, Linköpings universitets inspelningsstudio på Campus Norrköping. Resultatet av studien visar att musikerns prestation står i direkt relation till studions kreativa miljö. Det ska dock påpekas att detta resultat endast gäller för intervjupersonen och att studien omfattar en person.Vad som upplevs som kreativ miljö varierar naturligtvis mellan olika människor och kan därför inte generaliseras.

A rhetorical analysis of the educational interactive film ?Riskprofilen?, produced by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (Swedish: Myndigheten för Samhällsskydd och Beredskap). This essay uses the theories and methods of Procedural Rhetoric, as described by Professor Ian Bogost, and Visual Rhetoric, as described by Professor Brigitte Mral to analyse the interactive and visual component parts of the artefact, and compares them to the intended purposes of the artefact as stated by documents pertaining to its creation, found to be those of educating the public; marketing the agency; and driving traffic to its webpage. The artefact is through analysis found to fulfil the purposes of marketing the Agency and of likely increasing traffic to the website upon which it is hosted. Regarding the primary, educational purpose this analysis finds that the artefact does not teach a user the accident-avoidance strategies it claims to do, but is dependent upon further materials..

Westermo Teleindustri tillverkar och säljer telefonmodem för industritillämpningar och ska erbjuda ett konfigureringsverktyg till dessa. Verktyget ska konfigurera Westermos modem med Hayes AT-kommandon genom ett PC program som ska vara enkelt att använda så att deras supportavdelning blir avlastad från en del konfigureringssupport. Min uppgift i detta examensarbete var att ta fram en kravspecifikation och implementera en lösning utifrån denna. Kravspecifikation togs fram genom att skicka ut förfrågningar om önskemål till dotterbolag, distributörer och andra som har nära kontakt med slutkunderna. I kravspecifikationen beskrivs vilken funktionalitet programvaran skall innehålla.

The projects goal was to make an already existing indoor positioning system useful forthe average smartphone user. This was achieved by creating an Android applicationwhich, along with a running server, continuously presents the user with all the currentneeded information. It uses the graphics engine andEngine to create the graphical userinterface. The application was created in the development environments Eclipse andAndroid Studio..

I detta arbete har jag undersökt hur man kan stämma trumsetets trummor på olika sätt, med störst vikt på pukornas tonalitet. Jag har undersökt, genom inspelningstester, vad det är som avgör om trummorna blir välljudande i olika musikaliska sammanhang. Jag har genomfört inspelningstester i studio, som representerar de olika typer avstämningssätt och undersökt dessa i fyra olika genrer. De olika stämningssätten har i sintur varierande toner, intervallförhållanden och resonanstider (den tid det tar för trumman att ringa klart). Detta för att kunna jämföra de olika stämningssätten.

This report is a hermeneutic analytical study of a practical pedagogical situation. For three occasions I observed my own practice as a dance teacher and how a moment, choreographic approach in the governing documents for upper secondary school GY11 was executed in a group of dance students. The part is formulated in the course objectives for the courses on the arts program under the topic Dansgestaltning with focus on choreographic approach. The study is based on a socio-cultural thinking but also takes into account the prevailing gender theories and focuses on how the process of formulation level, through the transformation level is portrayed in the realization level of the dance regarding choreographic approach. The study illustrates educational research from both a dance perspective and a school development perspective.

AbstractObjectivePatients with Parkinson?s disease often have symptoms of dysphagia. These swallowingproblems have consequences for quality of life as well for the physical wellbeing of thepatients. AimThe aim of this study was to describe and correlate Swallowing Quality of Life (SWAL-QOL)scores, self-assessment of swallowing function using a visual analogue scale and the resultsfrom a fiber endoscopic evaluation of swallowing function in patients who had been selectedfor Deep Brain Stimulation in caudal zona incerta. A secondary aim was to correlate diseaseduration with results from SWAL-QOL and the fiber endoscopic evaluation of swallowingfunction.MethodTen male Parkinson?s patients (age 45-69 yrs, median 61.5 yrs) who were selected for DeepBrain Stimulation completing the Swallowing Quality of life form, as well as rating theirswallowing function using a visual analogue scale and undergoing a fiber endoscopicevaluation of their swallowing function.    ResultsThe median total SWAL-QOL score was 94% while the mean was 91%.

In this paper Mona Hatoums installation Corps étranger is discussed via a post structuralized method based on associative and semiotic comparisons with vanitas, a post-modern self-portrait, and as a representative for modern visual art. The analyze touches upon pornography, science fiction and the quest for scientific conquest in outer and inner space. Theoretical references are Foucault, Freud, Lacan, Barthes, Dolar, Said and Virilio. Hatoum makes the observer a voyageur with the aid of the latest medical technology, endoscope, which gives her the opportunity to make an introvert self-portrait when she films her own throat and rectum. But at the same time she makes the portrait of us all.
