Studiens syfte är att undersöka lek och samspel hos elever med diagnosen Asperger syndrom eller högfungerande autism genom att ta del av deras egna upplevelser av detta. Hur beskriver dessa elever sin lek under förskole- och skoltid? Hur beskriver de sitt samspel med andra? Vilka ställningstaganden gör eleverna för att delta eller icke delta i lekar?I litteraturgenomgången belyses olika begrepp och aspekter som är relevanta för studien såsom lekens betydelse för ett barns utveckling och lärande. Här presenteras också autismspektrumstörningar och vad dessa funktionshinder kan medföra för konsekvenser för barnet när det gäller lek och samspel. Svårigheter som gäller ömsesidig social interaktion, ömsesidig verbal och icke-verbal kommunikation samt fantasi och alla dessa områden är viktiga förutsättningar för lek och samspel.Den metodansats jag är inspirerad av är hermeneutiken.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka aktörernas tankar och uppfattningar kring hur kommunen och skolan har organiserat sig för att ta emot och inkludera samt arbeta med elever med autism eller autismliknande tillstånd i grund- och gymnasieskolan utifrån den nya skollagsförändringen. Syftet var vidare att undersöka vilka möjligheter den undervisande personalen har eller anser sig behöva för att kunna genomföra sitt uppdrag.Studien utgår från en kvalitativ intervjumetod där pedagoger, specialpedagoger, representant från SPSM, rektorer samt skolchef intervjuas. Studien bygger på Urie Bronfenbrenners utvecklingsekologiska perspektiv som menar att barnet är ett subjekt i sig och utvecklas samt påverkar sin egen omgivning. Studien rör sig även på en organisatorisk nivå och därför har vi även använt ett systemteoretiskt perspektiv.

The purpose of the study is to examine the multilingual student?s use of IT in school.The study also highlights the teacher?s view of development and how they use IT in their own teaching.A qualitative approach study was conducted to acquire a deeper understanding of students' language learning by using IT. In the study, it was assumed socio-cultural perspective in which learning takes place through interaction with others.The result shows that multilingual students have difficulty understanding information available on the internet and they are either waiting to meet a teacher to get a clearer picture of what to do or doing tasks even though in some cases misunderstand the task. Language teachers also confirm student?s impression and at the same time express the concern that students are reading less.This study shows that there may be correlation between students' learning motivation and an understanding of instructions online.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate the view of what kind of role the personal assistant has in disabled people´s life and sexlife and how conceptions of a "normal" life and "to live like others" can be identified related to this. My research questions was: What does the expression "to live like others" mean to the organisations? What is the view in the organisations of the personal assistant´s role in the client´s life? What is the view in the organisations of the personal assistant´s role in the client´s sexlife? What is the view in the organisations of disabled people´s rights to get assisted help with sex? I chose to do semistructured interviews with different organisations related to disability and assistance and I analysed the interviews with theoretical aspects of social constructivism, the principle of normalization and the theory of SRV (Social Role Valorization), autonomy, individualism and models of action. My main conclusion were that the views of disabled people´s sexuality and the personal assistant´s role in disabled people´s sexlife were widely separate. However, almost all of the organisations were pointing out the autonomy of the individual and the importance of setting the limits.

Today, student influence is an important part of the school?s activities and is anchored both in Lgr 11 and the school law. Student influence has gained a larger and more important role thru out the years. Previous research points out that teachers and management at school?s have had difficulties with interpretation and understanding the education plan (curriculum) and to know in which way and how much influence the student should have.

In this paper we have chosen to focus on social workers and their experiences of interacting with clients with neuropsychiatric disabilities, in example persons with ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), Asperger syndrome, autism and/or Tourette syndrome. The main purpose was to look into three areas: What knowledge do social workers mean that they need about neuropsychiatric disabilities and how can their needs of knowledge can be met? How do they experience the meeting with a person with neuropsychiatric disabilities? How does the cooperation function between authorities regarding persons with neuropsychiatric disabilities?Definition of the concept of disability and function from a historical perspective points out that the approach has changed over time. Previous research studies of the interaction in meeting between the client and the social worker shows that the social worker carries two faces, so called aspects. The first aspect is about help and care and the second aspect is about administrative functions.

The objective of this thesis was to investigate how young adults view their own employabilityand to see if there was a connection between their view and their social background. Themethod used in the thesis is qualitative with a hermeneutic approach. The interviews includedwere of semi-structured kind. The main result is that respondents in the thesis expressed similarviews on their perceived employability regarding commitment and energy at work, networkingand contacts and job discrimination but there were some distinctions noted regardingtheir view on education and working life experience. The respondents from working classbackgrounds tended to focus more on education than the respondents from middle class/uppermiddle class backgrounds.

Archbishop KG Hammar has attracted attention for his liberal position in theology. His view on the role of language and communication is central in several books and articles he has published as leader of the Church of Sweden. One of his main theses is the fact that meaning is created in the encounter between text and reader. He often reiterates: God is relation. This non-traditional dynamic stance has a broad impact not only on theology.

The simple view of reading is a theory in which reading is divided into decoding and linguistic comprehension. The theory has been used to explain and to subgroup reading disabilities. Research has also investigated if additional factors are of relevance to reading. In the present study, decoding was divided into the factors orthographic decoding and phonological decoding, while comprehension was divided into word comprehension and grammatical comprehension. The purpose was to analyze these factors and their contribution to reading ability in children in fourth grade: one group with reading difficulties (n=36) and one group with typical reading ability (n=36).

This essay revolves around the organization Mobile Art Production, MAP, and their artexhibition Street View shown on Kungsportsavenyn, Gothenburg two weeks in April 2010. Beingan alternative to traditional art institutions, MAP sets out goals for their activities and the aim ofthe essay is to examine whether the main goals of the organization were fulfilled through theexhibition. In Street View six Swedish artists participated with a total of seven artworks.The theoretical framework is formed using Arthur C. När ett barn i en flerbarnsfamilj blir diagnostiserad med en funktionsnedsättning påverkar det inte bara barnet i sig, utan även resterande familj. Föräldrarna måste anpassa sina vardagliga rutiner efter barnet, och syskon kan ibland känna att de inte får lika mycket uppmärksamhet. Tidigare forskning visar att syskonrelationen till barnet med funktionsnedsättning påverkas negativt när uppmärksamheten från föräldrarna skiljer sig mellan barnen. Syftet med studien är att beskriva och söka förståelse kring sex vuxna syskons upplevelser av att växa upp med ett syskon med funktionsnedsättning, samt hur det påverkat uppväxten och relationerna till barndomsfamiljen. Studien genomfördes via kvalitativ metod och är baserad på intervjuer från sex informanter där samtliga vuxit upp med ett syskon som diagnostiserats med funktionsnedsättningen autism eller Downs syndrom.

My essay explores the public view on smoking in Sweden over the last few decades. I've studied how changes in social structures through media, laws, studies and education has brought about a change in the opinions about smoking. I found that even though there have always been different opinions on smoking it seems to have become less accepted in the Swedish society, particularly in the past twenty years. I discuss the different reason as to why (and how) the view on smoking might have changed the last decades amongst the Swedish people. To be able to do this I have done interviews on which I have applied narrative analysis..

Title: Collaboration in BoDa-units. A qualitative study about collaboration regarding people with disabilities. The purpose of this thesis was to internally examine the cooperation between different professions in municipal BoDa-units. By doing a qualitative study using focus-group-interviews in three municipalities, we were able to examine the personnel?s experience of cooperation issues and opportunities in BoDa-units.

This study is about how older people are portrayed in TV- commercials, and what those images are saying about senior citizens as consumers. I?ve chosen two of Sweden?s most popular TV channels that are broadcasting commercials and from those two channels recorded commercials in a period of one week, three times a day (morning, afternoon and evening/night). My purpose with this study was to see when older people stared in commercials, which kind of merchandises they were marketing, in which manor they acted out their roles, and (if possible) say something about the elderly people as consumers..
