Arbetet har utförts i kursen Examensarbete för högskoleingenjörsprogrammet i Innovations-teknik och design (MSGC12) vid Karlstads universitet. Handledare har varit universitetsadjunkt Lennart Wihk och examinator professor Leo de Vin.Uppdraget har bestått i att genomföra en designstudie på CamCoil, ett haspelsystem inom främst tillverkande industrin. Anledningen till detta är att uppdragsgivaren, Camatec Industriteknik AB, vill att produkten ska göras mer konkurrenskraftig och öka chanserna att kunna sälja maskinen utanför Sveriges gränser. Målet är att skapa en varumärkessignifikativ konceptlösning som är kompatibel med haspelsystemets många olika utföranden. Handledare hos uppdragsgivaren har varit Mikael Hallenborg.Studien är utförd enligt produktutvecklingsprocessen.

In Sweden there is no legal regulation for the obligations and responsibilities between the contracting parties within the construction, civil engineering and installation sector. To clarify uncertainties regarding the liability, actors from theses sectors have agreed upon a voluntary regulation, called the General Conditions of Contract.When insurance companies want to enter the Swedish construction insurance market, they face a regulatory framework that not only regulates the construction market, it also imposes requirements on terms and conditions that must be included in the construction insurance. These terms are perceived as ambiguities and create difficulties and inhibit the ability for these insurance companies to offer competitive insurances. One of the terms that create these difficulties is the guarantee period, which is period of time starting from handing over the construction project to the employer, during this period the contractor still has the responsibility for the construction project. The guarantee period regulated by the General Condition of Contracts differs from the international use of the term both in length and in content.

This paper is finishing part of the two-year master programme in Industrial Engineering and Management.Initially there was an inquiry of studying the queue-times that Fläkt Woods uses when they break down internal working orders. These times were assumed to be too generalised and does not apply to the actual value of the queue-times which generates incorrect data and delivery delays. During the work of this paper it has been established that it is not the queue-times that is the biggest problem. The problem is the shop floor control and the lack of manufacturing the right products at the right time. Therefore an analysis of the production planning process was made to bring forward the real problems.

The worldwide industrial demand of energy, often in form of fossil fuel, is continuously growing and at the same time these resources are coming to an end (Hamamre, 2013). The interest and focus in renewable sources are then more important than ever and plants are suggested to be a good alternative for production of raw material for industrial purposes (Nilsson et al., 1998). But the world is also facing an increasing world population which also increase the nutritional needs, plants therefore need to be suitable for both industrial and nutritional purposes. To achieve this, common plants need to be improved but it also need new potential crops to be developed and introduced (Carlsson et al., 2009). Modern technology like gene engineering is an important tool to achieve these challenges (Carlsson et al., 2011). This work focused on analyzes and evaluation of different transgenic lines of field pepperweed (Lepidium campestre L.).

Chapter 1 defines the aim of the project and gives a general orientation about ground heat extractors. In chapter 2 physical processes that could be expected to be involved in the heat transport around a ground heat exchanger are discussed. It is shown from a literature study what amount of moisture transport due to thermal gradients there could be expected in a ground heat exchanger. The conclusion is drawn that the moisture gradient (Sr) is of same magnitude as the driving temperature gradient (°C). At the expected amount of increased moisture around the pipes the moisture transport could be considered to have a little effect on the brine temperature.

AbstractIntroduction: Hand Arm Risk Assessment Method (HARM) is a tool to assess the risks of deve­lo­ping complaints of the arm, neck or shoulders during manual work. The method was developed in the Netherlands primarily for employers, but is also used as an aid to work environment in­spec­tors. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the HARM-method for assessment of biomecha­nical exposure of the upper limbs when performing manual tasks as well as its suitability to be used within work environment inspection. Methods: Ten labour inspectors conducted assessments of five video-recorded work tasks. Assess­ments made with HARM were compared with those made with the Assessment of Re­pe­titive Tasks (ART) tool and with ACGIH Hand Actvity Level (HAL) - both methods for assess­ment of bio­mecha­nical exposure of the upper limbs - and with the model for the assessment of re­pe­titive work in the pro­visions of the Swedish Work Environ­ment Autho­rity on ergonomics for the prevention of mus­culo­skeletal disorders, AFS 1998:1.

I samband med att mellanspänningsnätet kablifieras ökar också kraven vad gäller fellokalisering. För att hålla avbrottstiderna i nätet korta är effektiv felsökning erforderlig. Detta arbete syftar till att kartlägga och redogöra för begränsande faktorer som finns vid fellokalisering med fokus på pulsekometoden. Uppdraget utförs tillsammans med Vattenfall Eldistribution AB.Det har uppdagats problem gällande fellokalisering på mellanspänningskablar med pulsekometoden. Ett flertal faktorer bidrar till denna problematik.

Gambrinus stadssida- Tävling i utformning av centralt attraktiva bostäder Nässjö kommun beslutade att genom en arkitekttävling höja standarden på bostäderna i centrala delarna av staden. Bidragen skulle omfatta 70-90 lägenheter uppdelat på hyres- och bostadsrätter. Tävlingsområdet Gambrinus omfattar 0,8 ha och ligger centralt i Nässjö med sjöutsikt. Nässjö är en förhållandevis ung stad med cirka 16 000 invånare. Syftet har varit att ta fram ett tävlingsbidrag till denna arkitekttävling.

Fogar i industriellt byggande tar allt mer plats och det diskuteras idag omfogar på annorlunda sätt i jmf. med innan när man inte visste vilken betydelse de hade i hela konstruktionen.Idag tar man hänsyn till personer som bor i själva huset och derashälsotillstånd, eftersom det är lika viktigt att vi mår bra i våra hus som att konstruktionen håller längre och det är allra viktigast att vi försöker undvika att använda miljöskadliga material som påverkar vår hälsa och när det gäller fogar att vi undviker PCB som är cancer framkallande. Mer om PCB, bifogar vi i Bilaga 1.Tekniken utvecklas fort och vi måste anpassa oss till dagens utveckling påvarje område, IT, bilindustri, byggindustri som strävar mot industriellt byggande men för att lyckas måste vi ta hänsyn till allt som ingår i byggkonstruktionen, bland annat fogar som vi valde som tema att fördjupa oss i vårt magisterarbete.Vi har undersökt fogar angående? var de förekommer? hur de uppför sig vid olika klimatförändringar? hur de anpassar sig till andra materials förändringar (krympningar)? vilken roll spelar anslutningar (betongelement) till rörelser som uppstår i fogar? vilka material används? skador som uppstår? var felet uppträder oftastGenom dessa undersökningar har vi försökt förklara problematiken somuppstår och åtgärder som är nödvändiga att göra.Slutligen försöker vi peka på, vad det är som man närmare skall studera, närdet gäller fogar för att undvika sprickbildningar och materialbrott i anslutande byggkomponenter.
