Bakgrund: Idag finns det en uppsjö av informationskällor med kost- och hälsobudskap som man utsätts för både frivilligt och ofrivilligt. Det finns också många olika åsikter gällande vilken kost som är bra och mindre bra för kroppen och hälsan. Studier har visat att bland annat statliga myndigheter, media och förebilder kan påverka inställningen till intag av vissa komponenter i kosten. Det är en intressant fråga vad man anser vara en pålitlig källa till kostinformation och vilka av dessa som används mest.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka de mest använda källorna till kostinformation är samt hur deras trovärdighet upplevs av individer som tränar på gym i åldern 18-28 år.Metod: En kvantitativ enkätstudie med 123 deltagare genomfördes. Enkäten innehöll ett attitydformulär om hur man ställer sig till olika källor om kostinformation.

Title: Silence please: Silent students' thoughts on shyness and nervousness in the classroom. This thesis deals with silent students' thoughts on shyness and nervousness in the classroom. During this study I have been talking to silent students about their experiences of being silent. After a look at the literature on the subject of shyness I have found that there the perspective of the students is lacking. My study deals with three main questions: How do silent students describe their experience of their shyness? How do silent students describe the possible training regarding oral presentation that they may be able to get? And finally, how do silent students describe their possible needs of pedagogical support? In my study I have adopted a qualitative method, which is a method that mainly concerns interpretation of people's thoughts.

Genom att cykla med ett lågt energiintag i syfte att tappa kilon, har pressen ökat på cyklisten och en hög risk för osund viktproblematik växer fram i idrotten. Ofta skapar de sig en så hög kontroll och perfektionism inom de faktorer som har påverkan på deras prestationsförmåga att det istället kan leda till psykologiska svårigheter. En medveten livsstil leder till motsatt effekt. Syftet med studien är att undersöka en grupp damcyklisters energi- och vätskeintag under perioden då de inte tävlar.

Studien syftar till att undersöka om ett egentillverkat brädspel om kost och hälsa, är ett bra inlärningsmaterial att använda sig av och om kön har någon betydelse vid användandet av spel. Spelet (vid namn, Hälsostigen) som användes i studien är planerat och utformat av mig och en kurskamrat. För att utföra undersökningen och få ett bra resultat spelades spelet med 31 barn vid tre olika tillfällen uppdelade i grupper om fyra barn i varje grupp (förutom en grupp som bestod av tre barn.) Barnen var från två olika förskolor uppdelade på totalt fyra avdelningar (ålder 4-5 år) samt från en skola. Barnen från de två olika förskoleklasserna var även från två olika städer. Studien visade att barnen höjde sitt resultat signifikant efter att ha spelat detta spel.

Syftet med vårt forskningsarbete var att genom jämförelse av två projekt som båda arbetar med övervikt hos skolelever, skapa ett arbetssätt som vi som blivande pedagoger kan använda oss av i den ordinära skolundervisningen. Därigenom vill vi kunna förmedla en kunskap till eleverna som de sedan skall kunna nyttja i ett långsiktigt perspektiv och för en bättre medvetenhet gällande kost, hälsa och motion i förhållande till övervikt. Vi har använt oss av intervjuer för att ta reda på tankar och känslor hos de medverkande i de båda projekten. Vi har intervjuat en projektledare från ett nationellt projekt samt en projektledare och tre stycken elever från ett lokalt projekt. I vårt resultat har det framkommit att alla delaktiga har mest positiva erfarenheter, detta genom skolans stöd och rådgivning.

Laktosintolerans är idag den vanligaste rubbningen rörande kolhydratmetabolism och finns i tre varianter; kongenital, primär förvärvad samt sekundär intolerans. I Sverige har ca 3-5 % av befolkningen laktosintolerans vilket är en relativt låg siffra i jämförelse med att ca 70 % av världens befolkning utvecklar intoleransen i skolåldern. Den låga incidensen har genom evolutionen utvecklats från en gynnsam mutation av genen som kodar för laktas. En fortsatt laktasproduktion och laktasaktivitet efter småbarnsåren har förr utgjort en överlevnadsfördel i länder odlingsförutsättningarna är svårare året om och då mjölk istället utgjort en primär näringskälla. Större andelen kolhydrat i mjölk består av laktos, som i övrigt innehåller 18 av de 22 näringsämnen människan dagligen behöver konsumera.
