Bakgrund: Kreativa aktiviteter har funnits inom arbetsterapin genom yrkets hela historia. Att vara aktiv är ett grundläggande behov hos människan. Aktivitet används både som mål och medel inom arbetsterapi för att främja personers hälsa och välbefinnande. Syfte: Att beskriva betydelsen av deltagande i kreativa aktiviteter, inom arbetsterapi eller på egen hand, för äldre personers hälsa och välbefinnande. Metod: Uppsatsen är genomförd som en systematisk litteraturstudie.

Skolan har fått i uppdrag att implementera hållbar utveckling i undervisningen. Enligt skolverket ska hållbar utveckling genomsyra all utbildning. För att undersöka hur lärande i hållbar utveckling har implementerats i undervisningen intervjuade jag sex lärare på en gymnasieskola. Lärarna som intervjuades arbetade som naturkunskapslärare, fysiklärare och samhällskunskaps-lärare. Studien visar att de intervjuade lärarnas syn på vad hållbar utveckling i undervisningen innebär varierar.

Management consulting firms are dependent on attracting and recruiting new talents since the human capital has a vital role in these types of organizations. In the following years a new generation, Generation Y, will to a large extent enter the labour market. According to several studies this generation has different characteristics than older generations.This thesis examines management consulting firms? views of Generation Y and which strategies they use to attract and retain the generation. The fact that the subjects are unexplored led the authors to conduct a qualitative study of seven management consulting firms through in-depth interviews.

AbstractThis research is about how some swedish teachers in high school choose literature in schools. The purpose is to underline the reasons for how some teachers think about selection, canon, classic and contemporary literature. Two survey methods were used to find the answers, wich consisted of interviews and questionnaires. The letter methods was used to obtain informations about student´s views on literature.Previous research shows that there are different opinions in what kind of literature the pupils should read in school. The results of literature, questionnaires and interviews also showed that the underlying reasons for the choice of literature, varied among those interviewed further forward ofthe students also prefer to read books during lessons, and that they prefer reading books by popular contemporary writers..

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur elever motiveras till inlärning, hur man som lärare stimulerar och motiverar elever till kunskapsinhämtning, och hur man på ett pedagogiskt sätt kan stimulera barnen till att vilja lära sig. Metoden för det var kvalitativa intervjuer med tre lärare på grundskolan. Ur resultatet framkom bland annat att elever i samspel med lärare kan skapa den bästa inlärningsmetoden och att med olika inlärningsmetoder också nå den bredaste kunskapsinhämtningen. Och där varierad utformning på lektionen ger eleverna olika utlopp för individuell inlärning, som exempel att jobba i grupp, varva katederundervisning med gemensam inlärning hela klassen. Men viktigt enligt lärarna är elevernas engagemang och intresse för att vilja lära sig..

We investigate the effects of various types of word-of-mouth (WOM) messages on consumer bahavior. The message is varied along two dimensions where one is valence and the other is whether or not it contains an explicit call for certain behavior or attitude change. We use an experiment in the form of a web-based survey. Five different scenarios were designed to represent neutral, positive, and negative WOM. The latter two came in two different versions - one with a recommendation and one without.

Large areas of Lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta var. latifolia) were planted in the 1970s - and '80s. The purpose of the fast-growing species was to increase growth and with short rotation periods allow a rapidly increased harvest level. Today a large proportion of the young forests owned by Holmen Skog, Iggesund are covered by Lodgepole pine and an active forest management is required to spread the harvested volume over time which is desirable by a market perspective. The purpose of this essay is to investigate the possibility of spreading the harvested volume of Lodgepole pine over time.

Syfte och FrågeställningSyftet med studien är att undersöka motocrossförares förberedelse inför tävling och deras uppfattning av en topprestation under tävling.De frågor som jag sökt svar på är: Hur ser förarna på balansen mellan utmaning och skicklighet utifrån sin förmåga? Vilka mål har förarna inför en tävling och vilken feedback får förarna under tävling? samt hur förarna upplever sin topprestation?MetodStudien har en kvalitativ ansats med semistrukturerad intervju som metod (Bryman 2008 s. 206). I studien ligger tonvikten på att uppfatta och tolka förarens förklaringar. Intervjuerna spelades in, transkriberades och analyserades, till största del, utifrån flowteorin.

This case study examines how upper secondary schools in a municipality in the northern parts of Sweden structure their special pedagogy with students who have ADHD and dyslexia, students? and parents? experiences of this, and what regulates the schools management in this particular aspect. The results show that all the schools have special pedagogues and other support staff employed, though in varied extent. Furthermore, the resources are distributed differently from school to school. The focus, however, is always around communication between the concerned parties.

To fulfill the climate target that EU and the Swedish government have decided to apply, it becomes increasingly important that the energy efficiency of existing buildings and making new buildings energy efficient as possible. Of Sweden?s total energy consumption in 2011 was 40% used by residential and service. Of the 40% of the energy consumption was 60% used for heating and domestic hot water. A report from year 2012 shows that one reason why the heating volume is so great could be due to underestimating on the energy consumption for the heating in the planning of the building.
