Den fysiska skivbutikens mervärdesskapande som konkurrensstrategi

The aim of this paper is to define the perceived consumer Values that physical record stores create in order to compete with other distribution technologies. A qualitative method has been used, based on interviews with managers of three records stores in Stockholm. Interviews with their customers have been conducted also. The content has been analyzed with passable theories and the two sources have been compared when adequate.The conclusion of the study is that the physical record stores create many different consumer Values, and that many of these are hard to transfer to other distribution technologies. One of the most important Values for the consumer is that the personnel have a broad knowledge about music.

Attityder och värderingars betydelse för ExTes framgång

Purpose: Our purpose is to examine how ExTe works with Values and attitudes and if it has any connection to their success.Research questions: Does attitudes and Values have anything to with ExTes success? Does ExTes management see their staff as a resource for development and do they deliberately work with it. Does ExTe follow their written Value book and do they continuously and active work with it?Approach: We have used a deductive way of reasoning and a qualitative study to gather the information needed. We have interviewed four staff members at ExTe.Conclusions: ExTes continuously and deliberately work with Values and attitudes do have a meaning for their success.

Värdegrunden i skolan : En kritisk studie av innehållet och arbetet med skolans värdegrund i en senmodern kontext

The purpose of this study is to investigate the content and work processes regarding the Values written in the curriculum for Swedish high schools and compare it with theories regarding the individualized society and political moralism. After the clarification of the content in the Values of Swedish high schools and the work processes that are supposed to give students fundamental understanding about them, I analyze and compere it to the theories that are presented in the study. The main questions of the study are the following: What kinds of Values are found in the curriculum for Swedish high schools? In general, how do Swedish high schools work with the written Values when focus have gone from education and learning to instrumental knowledge, results, abilities and flexibility?The result showed that the content and work processes regarding the Values in Swedish high schools are purely instrumental and moralistic. Due to the fact, that the individualized society and the neoliberal ideology do not require reflection and real understanding regarding the Values.

The glulam is produced from non-planed boards of spruce, which also is convex, that is pressed together with high pressure during the gluing. The Values politicians relate with public administration are likely to affect the way that they want the public administration to be organised. The purpose of this study is therefore to examine which Values Swedish parliamentary parties relate with public administration and more particularly how they emphasise these Values.The study is conducted as an analysis of theoretically relevant bills that the government party and the parliamentary parties have introduced to the Riksdag, and reports and statements of opinion from the parliamentary committees. The documents are from the Riksdag´s sessions from 2000/01 to 2005/06. After examining the documents the conclusion can be drawn that the value that is most emphasised during the period is legal security. This might mean that legal security will have more influence on the decisions taken about the organisation of Swedish public administration..

Vad är meningen med värdegrunden? : Om svårigheten i att förena teori med praktik i värdegrundsarbetet i skolan

The topic of this essay is core value issues, how they are mediated in school and how they are practiced. I am investigating a problem concerning the existential worth of the core Values-content for children, or in other words, the difficulty of reconciling the theory of the core Values and their practice. This problem is portrayed by two stories. The aim of this work is to investigate how to combine the core Values theory with its practice, in other words, make it meaningful. In my essay, I turn to recent research in the field to provide a background to my issue, and hereby further point to my problem.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not there has been a change in the use of democratic Values in textbooks in social science for classes 4-6. The focus lies on democratic Values from two different theoretical perspectives, Dahl?s theory of democracy and Habermas deliberative democracy. The method used is a text analysis based on a model made by Lennart Hellspong. The material we?ve analysed consists of four textbooks in social science from different decades, with a range from 1981 until today.

Organisation av pop- och rockmusiksamlingar i Sverige: en värderingsfråga?

The purpose of this paper is to examine different methods for organisation and retrieval of pop and rock music recordings, and the problems concerned with this organisation. The focus is the question whether Values towards pop and rock music influence the organisation of music in major Swedish record collections. As a background for this discussion, the study also discusses how music is organised in these collections, and what kind of problems are associated with their organisation. Also included in the paper is a minor investigation of how problems with the organisation of pop and rock music are dealt with in library and information science, and how Values towards pop and rock music are dealt with in society in general. The main focus of the study, however, is an empirical study of how Values towards pop and rock music manifest themselves in the pop and rock organisation of six Swedish institutions with major collections of music recordings.

Kundvärden i förändring? : En studie av mobiloperatörer.

The objective of this study has been to examine which significant Values are of importance in the telecom sector today, and in a continuing perspective yet to be. To ensure the factors of relevance in the study, we have identified three purposes: - Our first purpose is to clarify the eminent Values in the competitive market of the mobile phone operators today, and the reason for its importance.- The second purpose is to understand the function of the brand regarding to value creation and loyalty in the sector of mobile phone operators.- The third purpose is to explore the potential approaches for mobile phone operators to increase value.In this study, our approach has been a qualitative methodology by conducting seven interviews with respondents related to the telecommunication sector.As a result of the process, we find the need to divide the concept of value into two dimensions, which we entitle organizational related Values and customer related Values. We have found the Values related to the characteristics of the market in aspects of its infrastructural features but also in regards to the homogenous core service.Our findings in the empirical data with support to our theoretical frame of reference, is the current highly important organizational related value of constant high result quality (well-functional technological aspect), and the value enhancer by a low price; the strategy of bundling also results in higher value. This result in customer related Values that perceives as safeness, availableness and convenience. The brands are a significant source of customer related Values with identity value, image value and assuredness. A continued advancement in process quality and individualization will imply greater customer related Values of closeness, freedom and flexibility. .

Regler och normer i fängelser: ur ett utifrånperspektiv

The purpose with this study was to investigate the rules and norms there is in a prison. The rules in a meaning of the one that the prison have that the interns must follow and the norms and Values. This study is from an outside perspective, which is in this case between the prison warders and the interns and the relation between the interns. The essay is based on nine interviews with prison warders from four different prisons in south of Sweden. Habermas theory about systems and lifeworld and prior research by Donald Clemmer and Ricard Nilssons B-essay in law of sociology is used to support the results.

Värdegrunden i praktiken ? Lärarupplevelser

The purpose of this thesis is to carry out a qualitative study of the perceptions of language teachers as to their role in the teaching of Values and morals to pupils. Five language teachers have been interviewed about their perceptions of how Values are taught and their role therein. The interviews serve to investigate the reality of teaching Values to pupils in a Swedish secondary school and the work involved in this on-going process, this being with a view to having a better understanding of just how important a role the teaching of Values plays in the daily working life of a teacher. Terms such as fundamental Values and morals can be difficult to define as they are highly personal and can differ from person to person depending on one?s background, experiences and family circumstances, for example.
