Due to increasing international competition and new technology IT-consultants has been forced to oversee their business models lately. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the process and consequences of a shift in business model for a consultant by using a methodology based on action research. The empirical foundation consists of a field study with observations, notes, interviews and business related documents. The case describes a consultant?s process of shifting business model from profits based on man-hours to selling a standardized system.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur sjukvÄrden i Region Halland samt involverade konsulter arbetar med implemen- tationen, och ta fram riktlinjer för hur detta bör ske. Uppsatsen baserades pÄ en kvali- tativ ansats och anvÀnde sig av en explorativ studie med djupintervjuer dÀr totalt fem personer frÄn Region Halland samt tvÄ personer frÄn ett IT-konsultbolag bidrog till uppsatsens resultat.
Arbetskraftsförsörjning i offentlig sektor: En studie av strategisk kompetensförsörjning
The study was conducted at a business in the social service. The purpose was to examine how the business works with human resource planning. In order to answer the purpose two questions was formulated, which human resource planning strategy does the business use? And, how do businesses need to act according to the theory of strategic manpower to achieve human resource planning? Survey data collection was done through a qualitative research design, where interviews with five employees in the business took place.The study shows that the business is using a own made strategy in order to achieve human resource planning. The strategy consists of two steps, in step one they do an background analysis and step two a needs analysis where a goal- and responsibility description are designed and then a set of requirements.

The thesis of this Masterpaper has been to analyse what tendencies there might be to distinguish structural alterations in the publishing business today and how they can be understood analytically. Mind the gap : En studie om samarbetet mellan entreprenörer och affÀrsÀnglar
Today there are a number of different financing options but few of them are suitable for start-up companies. Business angels are in that case an exception and a suitable investor in these companies. Business angels are individuals who invest in young companies and differ from other financiers in the sense that the collaboration with the company is closer. Business angels are although few in numbers while the young companies often tend to be in most need of funding and has the greatest potential to grow.The purpose of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of the cooperation between entrepreneurs and business angels and to identify which effects the financial gap have on these financial associations.Business angels and entrepreneurs collaboration are hard to interpret and therefore demanded a deeper examination. We thus used a qualitative method consisting of six different interviews in three different cases.The study shows that established collaborations between entrepreneurs and business angel?s seem to be affected by the financial gap to a great extent, which has been expressed in negative consequences.

The study focused on common and important leadership components and the most important leadership processes in both business context and sports context. The study also investigated common and important leadership components, leadership challenges and which degree leaders used the transformative leadership. The study focuses on leadership components most importantly from the leaders view, including both sport managers and business leaders. The investigation was based on eight interviews, which are analyzed with content analysis.

In a logistics organization this flow of information is equally important as in any other kind of organization. In boundary spanning the main goal is to erase or relocate some of the boundaries within an organization, in our case to make the flow of information internally as well as externally better.

This study aims to investigate how value is constructed in horse business, in order to increase knowledge and contribute to development of theory in this field. This is important since the horse plays a significant role in the rural development in Sweden. The study assumes that value is something created through relationships in the social network. Therefore theories of sensemaking are combined with a discourse analytic method. By interviewing customers to two companies, one with orientation on trotting horses and one with orientation on showjumping horses, it was found that value is constructed through retrospective stories.

Studien undersökte chefers upplevelser av HR-stödet i relation till arbetssituationen inom en organisation dÀr HR-stödet bygger pÄ ett service center, en expertenhet och HR business partners ute i verksamheten. Uppsatsen bygger pÄ tio kvalitativa intervjuer med HR-medarbetare och chefer pÄ Trafikverket.Studien visar att cheferna upplever ett tillfredstÀllande HR-stöd frÄn expertenheten och HR business partners. Samordningsproblem inom HR-funktionen ger dock effekter för bÄde chefer och HR-medarbetare inom organisationen.

Leverantörerna, IB-arkitekterna och analytikerna hade en mer gemensam problembild, medan slutanvÀndarnas problembild var mer spretig..
