The aim of this study is to investigate how the Swedish language proficiency of pupils in vocational programmes in 1977 was measured and assessed with the aid of a national achievement test, and to investigate whether vocational pupils today, in 2014, have similar language proficiency to that of pupils in the 1970s. The study also discusses how the design of the national achievement test from 1977 reflects the view of knowledge that prevailed in society and in the policy documents. The material for the study consists of a total of 75 national achievement tests, 40 of which were taken by pupils on a vocational programme in 1977 and 35 by pupils on a vocational programme in 2014. The national achievement test consists of two parts, the first of which focuses on isolated elements of language proficiency, while the second involves free text production. The material was analysed quantitatively in accordance with the correction material from 1977.

The purpose of this study is to examine constructions of plaintiff [woman] and the defendant [man] in Swedish rape convictions from 2013. The cases in this study cover acquaintance rape. This essay examines how the author of 1 Peter exhorted Christ-believing slaves and wives in 1 Pet 2:18-3:6, a passage that invites questions about submission, questions that, in contemporary contexts, are oftentimes controversial. The essay also calls attention to the advantages and the complexities of understanding 2:18-3:6 relative to ancient Roman familial and hierarchical structures. A close exegetical analysis of the passage points out a variety of scholarly viewpoints on ?Peter?s? admonitions to slaves and wives. Following the exegetical analysis, attention is given to feminist hermeneutics and to potential uses of this biblical text in contemporary contexts.

This report discusses developing a software log tool for analysis of industrial processes. The target was to develop software that can help electro Engineers for monitor and fault finding in industrial processes. The tool is called PLS (Process log server), and is developed in Visual Studio.NET Framework 2005. PLS works as a client with Beijer Electronics OPC Server. I detta examensarbete undersöks skrivuppgifter i tre läromedel: Svenska impulser 1 (2008) som används i Svenska kurs 1, Språkporten- Svenska som andraspråk 123 (2012) menad att användas i Svenska som andraspråk i kurs 1, 2 och 3 och ?lqr?a ?l?rab?? (2013) som används i Arabiska som modersmål i kurs 1. Syftet med studien är att synliggöra läromedlens skrivideologier och vilka förutsättningar som dessa ger för elevers skriftspråksutveckling samt vilken kunskapssyn som konstrueras utifrån skrivuppgifterna och hur det vidare konstruerar den avsedda målgruppen. I studien har läromedlens skrivuppgifter delats in i olika skrivuppgifts kategorier där exempel på skrivuppgifter från varje skrivuppgifts kategori har presenterats och analyserats mot bakgrund av Roz Ivani?s modell över språksyn och hennes skriv- och inlärningsdiskurser. Studieresultaten uppvisar att Svenska impulser 1, Språkporten - Svenska som andraspråk 123 och ?lqr?a ?l?rab?? ger olika förutsättningar för skriftspråksutveckling och att det konstrueras en reproducerande kunskapssyn i merparten av läromedlens skrivuppgifter, vilken framställer läromedlens målgrupper som objekt snarare än subjekt i sin inlärning och tilldelar de olika färdigheter och språkkunskaper..

Sociala medier innehåller idag massor av information som kan bidra till att ge applikationer och produkter ett stort mervärde genom att ge en förbättrad användarupplevelse. I vissa fall kan sådan information inte erhållas utan att först matcha data från en eller flera datakällor genom en data fusion. Eniro Initiatives AB vill undersöka möjligheter för att genomföra en automatiserad data fusion genom att koppla företag från sitt API till motsvarande företag på sociala medier. Problematiken ligger i att den enda helt säkra källan till matchning av alla svenska företag är dess organisationsnummer, vilket är data som inte finns tillgänglig hos API:er från utländska företag. Syftet var att undersöka möjligheter för att på automatiserat sätt kunna matcha relaterad data från olika datakällor. I detta examensarbete har en prototyp utvecklats som matchar företag från Eniros API med företags sidor från Facebooks API. Resultatet från tester av denna prototyp visar dock brister, då det uppkom fall där redundant information bidrog till att prototypen kunde godkänna inofficiella sidor med koppling till det relevanta företaget, vilket inte var önskvärt..

In this paper I make an analysis of the play Järnbörd (By burning Iron) written by the swedish author Magnus Dahlström. In this play all the characters has committed horrible crimes wich they easily describes the violence. The starting-point of my analysis is the text itself and not any stage-setting. The reason for this is that I find it interesting to see what can be found in the text only. I investigate if the language itself can tell something.Furthermore I discuss Magnus Dahlström´s literary language and if he has any distinguishing quality, and if so what it may be.

We studied the initial process of reading, with a focus on typography, whether it ispossible to increase childrens lust to read in the age six to seven years old, byadjusting the typography and graphic design. We conduct this study through qualitative and quantitative studies, mainlyinterviews with a main focus on children in this particular age were used. In additionto the interviews a questioniare were sent out to a selection of students. The studyalso contained an interview with a pedagogue as well as studies of the current andexisting textbooks and teaching aids that is used on the school we are looking into.During the study we consulted educated pedagogues to get an understanding of thechildren and their learning and to be able to approach them in a suitable way.The theories we have been using were mainly from a typographic point of view.Other areas we explored were theories about reading processes. This study showedthat every child needs a method that is suitable for them and that the materialprovided today is typographically inconsistent. The childrens and teachers needs andwishes in typography did not correspond with the current teaching aids design. From this study the followning points were made about how to design a textbook forchildren in the first grade:? The typeface should be a sans serif.? The point size should be bigger than 12 points.? Text should be aligned to the left.? Sentences should be short without becoming abstract.? To maintain focus on the text the layout should be simple and unbarked.? The format should be designed after the pourpose of the publication, forexample when it is a complement to the textbook, the format should be of suchcharacter that it is easy for the children to bring home.? There should be a typographical consistency through all of the materialsprovided to the children..

Detta arbete undersöker hur man på bästa sätt informerar om ideella organisationer i syfte att öka viljan till engagemang hos potentiella volontärer.De teoretiska utgångspunkterna behandlar trovärdighet inom välgörenhet, effektivitet och amatörism, trovärdighet i text och budskapsstrategier. Genom textanalyser och kompletterande intervjuer tydliggörs hur icke genomtänkt information kan skapa en missvisande uppfattning hos potentiella volontärer. Något som i förlängningen förvirrar och försvårar rekryteringsprocessen.Resultatet av arbetet är ett informationsmaterial utformat efter fem principer för att skapa förtroende i text och form ? tala direkt till mottagaren, var transparent, förklara "hur" istället för "varför", håll det enkelt och redovisa resultaten. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to investigate how gender stereotypes appear in Swedish picture books. The investigation consists of literature studies and the method used is a text ?and picture analysis. By using this method, it allows us to interpret both text and pictures in the books. It is carried through by consultation of Yvonne Hirdmans theory of how men and women are two different things and that man in this relation constitutes the norm.

Denna uppsats har syftet att belysa vilka intentioner de som arbetar med de lättlästa tidningarna 8 sidor och Sesam har när de gör sina tidningar. Vidare har den syftet att undersöka aspekterna läsbarhet och begriplighet i de lättlästa tidningstexterna, både i pappersutgåvan och nätupplagan, och därmed se om och hur en text som benämns som lättläst kan bli ännu lättare att läsa och förstå. Detta görs med fokus på målgruppen invandrare som har börjat lära sig svenska som ett andraspråk och tillägnat sig ett vardagligt språk men som ännu inte nått en mer avancerad språknivå (jämförbar med den högsta nivån inom Svenska för invandrare, kurs D). Målet med uppsatsen är således att belysa hur lättlästa tidningstexter ser ut idag och hur man kan utforma en text för att underlätta förståelsen av den. För att nå detta mål används två olika metoder.

Denna uppsats har som syfte att undersöka hur några lärare ser på och använder det vidgade textbegreppet i svenskundervisningen på gymnasieskolan. För att uppnå detta syfte formulerades tre frågeställningar som studien söker svar på. Dessa frågeställningar är: Hur uppfattar lärarna konceptet ett vidgat textbegrepp och vad uppfattar de själva som en text? Hur, när och varför arbetar lärarna med ljud- och bildbaserade medier? Vilka möjligheter och hinder upplever lärarna i Skolverkets mål om ett vidgat textbegrepp och generell mediekompetens i svenskundervisningen? Genom semistrukturerade intervjuer undersöker studien sex svensklärare på en gymnasieskola i södra Sverige för att söka svar på frågeställningarna. Undersökningen pekar på att det finns mer att önska vad gäller såväl synen på text och uppfattning om vad en vidgad textsyn innebär.
