INFÄSTNING AV LED-ARMATUR

The thesis was performed at the lighting company Zpecta AB. Zpecta needed to develop alternative attachment of their LED-luminaire Capella. Today Capella attaches in metal ceilings with four magnets. Zpecta got indications from their customers that there was a need for other attachments. The purpose is to determine the customer?s requirements and the interfaces that are considered for Capella.During the thesis, Capella was only on the market for testing and evaluation.The thesis was initiated to create a specification.

Arkivering av företagskunders grafiska riktlinjer : Design och utveckling av en arkivwebbsida med responsiv design

This report describes the process of developing a user-friendly and responsive archive website. The website is a Hi-fi prototype and was created for the company JG Communications, to serve as an archive for their customers? style guidelines. To create this website I have used HTML5 and CSS3 to make it responsive for various computer screens. I have also used PHP and some JavaScript to make some of the functions and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to make design elements for the prototype.

Intelligenta System

Intresset för agenter som forskningsområde är någonting relativt nytt. Agenter i sig är en naturlig del av Artificiell intelligens men det är först på senare tid som de hamnat i fokus. Begreppet agent har spridit sig som en löpeld utanför AI-forskningen och kan hittas i många andra områden. Vad detta intresse för agenter kommer ifrån kan debatteras men det är troligtvis dels en följd av att internet visat hur kraftfullt ett distribuerat system kan vara, och att agenter och botar bokar våra biljetter samt söker igenom webbsidor åt oss.Arbetets huvudfråga är att undersöka hur ett intelligent system (för värmedistributionen i ett hus) kan uppnås genom att koppla ihop ett antal agenter med begränsade funktionalitet och distinkta uppgifter. Intelligensen i systemet ska uppnås genom samverkan mellan de olika agenterna.

Produktutformning av en ny snöskoter

Detta examensarbete är det avlutande momentet på civilingenjörsutbildningen Ergonomisk design och produktion vid Luleå tekniska universitet. Målet med projektet är att designa en helt ny skotermodell exteriört. Tyngdpunkten i projektet är utseendet men även andra aspekter behandlas, så som ergonomi, materialval och tekniska lösningar. En Internetbaserad enkätundersökning, marknadsundersökning samt systematisk problembehandling ligger till grund för designen av fyra grundkoncept. Dessa undersöks genom strukturerat konceptval samt samråd med uppdragsgivaren.

The use of ERP in organisations is very popular and many companies have embraced this paradigm without really questioning why. Problems therefore often arise and cause high costs which is a result of poor planning. The paradigm also has its origin in the traditional architectural design that creates a system that has difficulties to adapt to organizations that are constantly evolving. The purpose of this study is to provide a different view of how IT-systems can operate within an organization and show how standard systems can be structured. We emanated from a case study at Linköping University Library, where we studied the implementation and integration of a standard system called Symphony.

Design av databassystem för testresultat från Tor-systemet

This master?s thesis was performed at PartnerTech AB in Åtvidaberg. It addresses the problem of managing test results obtained from testing electronics manufactured by PartnerTech. PartnerTech has developed a test system, called Tor, which performs tests on manufactured boards and stores the test results in files. The Tor system consists of both hardware and software part, where the software runs on an ordinary PC with MS DOS/Windows 2000.

This report is a bachelor thesis presented at the department of Computer Science andEngineering at Chalmers University of Technology. The aim for the project is to find a simplemethod to measure and display physical quantities in a three dimensional room.The report describes a method to construct a system for measuring differentphysical quantities via sensors. The system must be built in a modular and expandable way tobe adaptable to different tasks.The system explained in the report consists of two parts;A physical scanner with moveable probes for carrying sensors and a microcontroller forcontrolling the probes and communicating with the next part.An application written in Java for storing the measured values and presenting them in a lucidperspective.It is possible to construct the scanner with different designs and circuitry, with multiplexers andflip-flops, to ensure that an unspecified number of probes can be added to the system and thatthey can be operated simultaneously.The Java application is written in a modular way, using a design pattern that separates eachindividual part of the application. It contains exceptions and interfaces that ensure a safe andexpandable application..

The company Pilotfish has developed the system MIVEO which is used by car-sharing to wirelessly monitor, book or otherwise manage a fleet of cars. In a car pool the system has three different types of users with varying degrees of eligibility. These are end users, administrative and service personnel. We have chosen to focus on opportunities to streamline the administrator and service personnel work with a mobile service, as these users of MIVEO often are movable and mobile. From this position we have in the study attempted to answer the following question: How can mobile services used to streamline administrative tasks? This study is about developing a mobile application that will contain the same features as the existing system, but must be mobile suit.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine if there where fallacies in the design solutions for the business system IFS Applications from a user perspective, and if so, correct these from a cognitive science approach.Data collection consisted of three main portions. These where; workshop, individual interviews and observations. The collected data was analyzed and resulted in identification of two main areas in the application that where found lacking.The result of the study showed that the usability for processing large amounts of data and the lack of customization where the main flaws in the application. Two low fidelity prototypes where created with the purpose of rectifying the underlying flawed design solutions that where identified from the collected data..

Re-Design av Dagens ETC

The project is about making a Re-Design of the Swedish Socialistic Newspaper ?Dagens ETC?. The background to the project is my search for commitment when I work with a specific customer or project and how importantthat commitment are?The project was from the beginning split up to three different phases. The meaning of the first phase where to make a re-design mainly based on a interview with Johan Ehernberg, the chef editor on ETC.The second phase was a design totally made of my own idea and creative view as a Graphic Designer.I had in mind to make the third phase based on the result of the first two phases.During phase one and two I reconsidered and decided to skip the third step and put more effort in to the two first ones.

Webbaserade system: faktorer som påverkar utvecklingsarbetet

Webbaserade system har tidigare kunnat beskrivas som relativt okomplicerade webbsidor och utvecklingsarbetet har många gånger varit ostrukturerat. Systemen har med tiden blivit mer komplexa och webbmiljön har övergått till att bli en plattform som kan stödja alla aspekter av organisatoriskt arbete. Vi vill i denna uppsats ge en inblick i utvecklingen av webbaserade system. Litteraturen beskriver olika faktorer som påverkar utvecklingsprocessen. Vi kommer att belysa ett antal av dessa faktorer samt åskådliggöra hur utvecklaren arbetar för att ta hänsyn till dem.

Utveckling av en adapter till en öppen energiplattform

Målet med denna studie är att utveckla en adapterprototyp mot en öppen energiplattform och dokumentera utvecklingsprocessen. Fokus ligger på att integrera Philips Hue, ett system för styra trådlösa lampor mot plattformen Elis (Mobile services for energy e ciency in existing buildings). Inom en begränsad tidsram så ska vi sätta oss in i två främmande system till en sådan grad att vi kan skapa kommunikationen mellan dem. Inledningsvis krävs det att vi läser dokumentation och att vi jobbar fram en arbetsplan. Vidare kommer vi lösa den adaption som krävs för att värden mellan det två systemen överensstämmer och fungerar.

Som mitt examens projekt har jag valt att forska kring frågan "Hur skapar man en unik design?" och använt det genom att skapa en grafisk profil till mig själv..
