The goal of this project was to create a web-based, crowd-sourced, correlational database, that easily allowed users to submit objects and receive correlated objects as results. The webservice was created in the web development languages of HTML, CSS, PHP and Javscript, with MySQL to handle the database. Simultaneous development was kept in check with the aid of the source code management system GIT. Upon completion, the service contained several HTML-views, the ability to add and rate objects, a per-object dedicated page with information parsed from Wikipedia.org, and a view with objects ranked in accordance to the preferences specific to the current user. Roughly a month after the beginning of development, the website was publicly launched and promoted in order to collect data, and improvements were added to the website as needed.

Utökade e-postsystem är en populär typ av grupprogram som ger användarna fler möjligheter än att bara hantera e-post, utökade e-postsystem ger bl a användarna möjligheten att föra kalender, schemalägga möten och delegera uppgifter. Denna undersökning utgår ifrån kända icke-tekniska utmaningar med att nå användaracceptans av grupprogram, genom en fallstudie i en statlig organisation studeras vilken inverkan dessa utmaningar har på utökade e-postsystem. Syftet med denna uppsats är att den ska ge insikter åt organisationer som har infört utökade e-postsystem men som har svårigheter med att nå användaracceptans av den funktionalitet som sådana system tillhandahåller. Viktiga slutsatser som har kunnat dras är att de studerade icke-tekniska utmaningarna med att nå användaracceptans i högsta grad har en inverkan på acceptansen av många av de funktioner som utökade e-postsystem tillhandahåller. Speciellt verkar tekniska begräsningar i systemet göra att många av dessa utmaningar blir kända..

Detta examensarbete syftar till att implementera en modulgenerator som automatiskt genererar ett matchat differentialpar. Detta för att enkelt kunna generera detta vanlig förekommande byggblock utan att behöva rita om allt från grunden. Modulgeneratorn som konstruerats klarar att skapa upp till 2x2 transistor block matchad layout med eller utan sköld. Programmet skapar med hjälp av indata från konstruktören en skräddarsydd layout som kan användas som byggblock i integrerade kretsar. Examensarbetet är slutfört och har genomgått omfattande testning The aim of this thesis is to implement a module generator that automatically generates a matched differential pair.

Bakgrund: Ett barns sjukhusvistelse innebär mycket oro och stress för hela familjen. Forskning visar att långt ifrån all personal på intensivvårdsavdelningar idag ser föräldrar som en självklar del i barnets omvårdnad. Forskning tyder även på att föräldrar önskar närvara i barnets dagliga omvårdnad inkluderat akuta situationer såsom vid återupplivning. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa sjuksköterskors upplevelser av föräldrars närvaro vid återupplivning inom allmän och neonatal intensivvård. Metod: En kvalitativ studie med induktiv ansats genomfördes.

Företaget Rebtel ville ha en ny landningssida som riktade sig till internationella studenter. Denna sida skulle vara optimerad för målgruppen både gällande design och innehåll. En förundersökningen bestående av bland annat intervjuer med målgruppen, målgruppsanalyser och research gjordes därför. Förundersökningen bestod också av intervjuer med olika roller på företaget Rebtel för att få en inblick i olika arbetsrollers perspektiv och uppgifter under en sådan process. Med hjälp av förundersökningens fynd togs skisser fram och en landningssida utvecklades bland annat genom programmeringsspråken HTML5, CSS3, LESS, JavaScript, .NET och C#.

Counties in Sweden are following-up on patients suffering from malign melanoma, which is likely to have inheritable causes. When a suspected heritable malign melanoma is found an investigation is started. A pedigree is drawn, describing the propositus? family.Every individual in the pedigree is represented by a symbol.

The study was conducted with an landscape approach with an subject related approach in the field of environmental psychology to investigate how road design affects drivers' choice of speed. The purpose was to portray road environments on thoroughfares in urban areas to motivate motorists to keep the speed limit and thus increase road safety for vulnerable road users. The task question was formulated, how can thoroughfares in suburban settings be portrayed to motivate motorists to reduce speed? The study was conducted throughout a literature review of motivational speed measures along with interviews with road design experts at the Swedish Transport Administration. Case studies were conducted on three thoroughfares in the Stockholm suburbs Vallentuna, Upplands Väsby and Danderyd.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how libraries use thetools and ideas from library 2.0 in their reading promotionwork. We also want to include how librarians motivate thisuse and whatever merits and faults they encounter. We haveperformed document studies and interviews which we thenanalyzed with qualitative content analysis. Our theoreticframework in this study which we also used as a part of ourcoding scheme in the analysis was a model over the conceptlibrary 2.0 developed by Holmberg, Huvila, Kronquist-Bergand Widén-Wulff. This model describes seven aspects oflibrary 2.0 which is users, participation, library and libraryservice, web and web 2.0, social aspects, technology andinteractivity.

This masters thesis concerns the Public Library Service in Eastern Africa, Tanzania. Our subject was developed through a feasibility study that gave us comprehension that developing countries have individual problems concerning books and libraries. We understood that the main problems were the libraries financial situation and their dependence on aid. We also understood that the libraries do not have the resources to satisfy the society as a whole. The major questions raised in this study are: - How do the regional librarians describe their work situation? -Which role do the Regional Librarians have in society? Data was collected through interviews and observation, and the study is a qualitative case study.

Bakgrund: Sexualitet innefattar en människas behov av intima och emotionella relationer och sexuell njutning. Ämnet är känsligt att tala om men för de flesta personer uppfattas sexualiteten som en värdefull del av livet. En stomi har visat sig kunna leda till minskad sexuell lust och en känsla av att vara oattraktiv. Personer med stomi ansåg det vara viktigt att tala med en sjuksköterska om sin sexualitet men att de var missnöjda med möjligheten att tala om detta inom vården.Syfte: Syftet med denna översiktsstudie är att beskriva hur en persons sexualitet påverkas av att erhålla en stomi.Metod: Översiktsstudie baserad på sju vetenskapliga artiklar varav fyra är kvalitativa och tre är kvantitativa. Artiklarna har sökts fram genom såväl databassökning med relevanta sökord samt med manuell sekundärsökning med utgångspunkt i funna artiklars referenslistor.

The aim of this report is to discuss computer security in handheld computers and to find out the appropriate security level that must be implemented to be able to use handheld computers within the Swedish healthcare system. Most healthcare centers are using some kind of electronic journals for their patient´s data today, but there are still a number of clinics that are usingthe old paper-system. On a few places in Sweden the use of handheld computers at the clinics has already started, but in the United States the use of handheld computers in the medical area is already widespread and from this we can see a lot of different situations where it is useful and effective to work with handheld computers. The security demands on patient´s journals are high and regulated in both Swedish law and regulations from the National Swedish Board of Health and Welfare. The law does not have any substantial demands, but states that there should be an adequate security level based on the nature of the information and the costs.

The increased interest in relationship marketing and the potential of the Internet as a platform for relationship building activities have given rise to new ways for companies to interact with their customers, such as services based on a freemium pricing model. Based on the premise that relationships are processes consisting of interactive moments of value-creating activities, value is considered subjective, relative and dependent on the context in which the activity takes place. Value is therefore variable given its context and cannot be pre-defined without nuances being lost. Despite the Internet's given role in societal development, our understanding of what contributes to customers' intentions to build relationships with online services is yet to mature.As the music industry is well established on the Internet, alongside the change in how music is consumed, it is thus appropriate to examine activities in accordance with a freemium based service that distributes music online, since it still lacks in academic understanding.This study aims to provide insights about virtual relations and how online services that provide cultural content should relate to there users as well as contributing to the ongoing academic discussion regarding value and how it is manifested by highlighting contextual impact on relational activities. For a rapprochement of relations to online services in cultural industries, this study assumed a practice perspective.

The aim of this thesis is to examine user experience and engagements in interactive cinema.A great deal of the research that is conducted today involves creating interactive films, toexplore and examine film structures. In this study, we build on this research by comparingthree different interactive film structures. To carry out our study, we have categorized threedifferent interactive films after three different models to define their narrative structureand interface. To examine the experiences of those structures we have performed anexperiment where we have collected data from the three different sources; interviews,observations and surveys.It is difficult to draw conclusions about how an interactive film should be constructed asdifferent structures apply to different narratives. Based on our research the conclusion canbe made that the combination between the narrative structure, the narrative content, theaesthetics, the implementation of interactivity and how the film?s interface is constructed ismore important than building a specific structure for an interactive film.

Bakgrund Mobila Intensivvårds Grupper (MIG) är idag etablerade på flera svenska sjukhus. MIG bidrar till att minska antalet hjärtstopp och till att patienter som är på väg att försämras upptäcks tidigare. MIG innebär också en trygghet för avdelningspersonalen. Delaktighet i MIG är en naturlig del i intensivvårdssjuksköterskans arbetsuppgifter.Syfte Att beskriva intensivvårdssjuksköterskors erfarenheter av interaktionen med avdelningspersonalen vid MIG-uppdrag.Metod En kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer har utförts vid två sjukhus. Resultatet har analyserats med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat Två teman framkom vid analysen, Betydelsen av interaktion för en sammanlänkad och säker vård samt Samspelsbefrämjande faktorer.

Background: First Line Managers are expected to create a health promoting work environment. Research has shown that the prerequisites for accomplishing a health promoting leadership are not always the best. Aim: The aim was to elucidate the prerequisites for a health promoting leadership as First Line Manager at a University hospital in Sweden based on competence, role, support structures and own durability. Results: First Line Managers at the chosen hospital seems to have rather good conditions for conducting a health promoting leadership. All respondents did have a university degree and most thought that their competence corresponded well with the role.
