The digital flexor tendon sheath (DFTS) is an important anatomical and functional structure in the horse. Disorders of the DFTS can result in devastating consequences for the horse. During the last decade, the possibilities to diagnose and treat disorders of the DFTS have been argumented. The main purpose of this paper is to describe the technique of tenoscopy and it's applications. The aim is also to review the anatomy of the fetlock canal, the differnet types of tenosynovitis, proximal annular ligament constriction and to describe the ultrasonographic examination of the DFTS..

Purpose: The purpose of this interview study was to describe the nurses? view of their experiences of interaction with other professionals to improve the elderly patient's nutritional status in municipal elderly care.Method: The study is based on qualitative interviews with nine nurses and was analyzed according to a qualitative content analysis method.Results: The main themes that emerged: Communication among the involved, To feel secure in their role, Lack of structure. The nurses worked closely with nursing staff and cooperated more with doctors about nutrition than with the physiotherapist and occupational therapist. The nurses felt they had the main responsibility for maintaining a good nutritional status of the elderly patient and described themselves as primarily responsible for nutrition while they lacked nutritional competence equal to the responsibilities they had during the whole nutrition process. The nurses had no community dietitian?s skills and felt that the dietitian had a great responsibility and the most updated knowledge in diet and nutrition.

My work has been an investigation project with focus on reproduction, method, structure and visual representation. The goal was to investigate how a story changes through time and space as well as how graphic design can affect a story depending on the visual representation. The result is a publication, an exploration of these subjects with the help of the book Expedition Kon-Tiki. Using more or less controlled methods of selections I have created different sorts of reproductions of the expedition. Just as subjective as reality itself..

Ett exempel på grön infrastruktur är gröna tak som blir ett självklart val för att sammanfoga grönytor i en stad. Förutom flera privat- och samhällsekonomiska vinster, kan gröna tak bidra till att öka den biologiska mångfalden. Vegeterade tak består vanligen av prefabricerade mattor som har ett tunt substratdjup med en vegetation som främst består av Sedum album och mossa. För den biologiska mångfalden har dessa mattor ett lågt värde till skillnad från biodiversitetstak som hyser en mer varierad flora och fauna.

In my project, Cups on the run, I have studied the relationship between ceramic utility objects and different environments, when moving them off the table. My background as a potter has been the starting point. From there, I wanted to see if I could expand my craft to the space beyond. With the cup, which for most people has a clear function and a relation to us human, in repetitive structure I explored the spatiality and architecture in various environments. Life fascinates me through how everything is made up of tiny parts that together create the tangible and intangible.

Detta kandidatarbetet har gjorts med syftet att förbättra Drottningtorgets kvaliteter ur främst ett estetiskt och funktionellt perspektiv och detta genom att studera den rådande problematiken och förutsättningarna på platsen samt med bakgrund av teoretiska utgångspunkter. Arbetet inleds med teorier från respekterade namn inom stadsbyggnad, fortsätter med inventeringar av platsen och avslutas med ett gestaltningsförlag som skapats i syfte att avlägsna den rådande problematiken samt med bakgrund av de teorier och förutsättningar som diskuterats. I förslaget har stor hänsyn tagits till människors rörelse och olika grepp har tagits i planen för att erbjuda passerande sittmöjlighet i attraktiv miljö och tillhandahålla gröna områden för rekreation..

På så vis bildas ett gång-/butiksstråk på södra sidan av byggnaden samt ett parkstråk mot norr. Arkitektoniskt vill byggnaden lyfta fram en ärlig och massiv materialitet, samt en rumslig rörelse som kretsar kring denna. The aim of this essay is to analyze how media constructs strategic positional statements in debates of great immediate interest in order to stress ideological standpoints. Two questions are derived on the basis of this aim.- How is Russia positioned in Svenska Dagbladet's and Dagens Nyheter's editorials in the debate on the Swedish defence during 09-01-13 - 09-01-31?- Are there differences in the positional statements between the newspapers?In the study a Critical Discourse Analytical (CDA) approach is applied, and more specifically that of Teun A. van Dijk. Both the theoretical basis and the methodological tools are based on van Dijks CDA.

Rapid urbanisation is putting strains on both the landscape and the city dwellers and the pressure on planning for sustainable and equitable cities is crucial. As many cities in Sub-Saharan Africa are expanding, city planning has trouble keeping up to meet the needs of the growing amount of urban dwellers. Many cities have also been planned with the cars in focus and the needs and comfort of the pedestrians have been overlooked. The capacity of institutions is limited due to centralized government and bureaucracy, as well as corruption. Planning is erratically implemented and it is difficult to know what will happen.

I takt med att städerna växer minskar det gröna och odlingsbara utrymmet. Högre krav ställs på att effektivt utnyttja ytorna, både inom - och utomhus. Konkurrensen om utrymmet har lett till nya lösningar i form av vertikala odlingsbara ytor kallade växtväggar. Detta arbete är skrivet med målsättningen att grundläggande redogöra för vad en växtvägg är och vad som krävs för att anlägga en sådan. Its aim is to stimulate new ideas, based on the traditional, present and future working field of landscape architects. The essay does not claim to cover all imaginable aspects of social sustainability within an eco- village, but refers to the presented sources for further in-depth reading. Although the original focus has been on physical planning, the interviewees? words have been of big importance, and to a certain extent changed the constitution of this essay.
