Med syftet att studera denna taktik och att därigenom skapa en ökad förståelse för pansarvärnsrobotförbandens taktiska möjligheter/begränsningar skapas en problemformulering som undersöker vilken relevans USMC:s taktik med pansarvärnsrobotförband i Operation DESERT STORM har för svenska armén idag? För att kunna besvara denna övergripande fråga bryts den ned till tre forskningsfrågor som beskriver vilken taktik som karaktäriserade USMC:s pansarvärnsrobotförband, därefter förklarar motiven för denna taktik och slutligen värderar vilka lärdomar som svenska armén kan dra från detta 2012.Resultatet visar att marinkårens taktik i huvudsak har låg relevans på grund av de unika förutsättningar avseende terräng, siktförhållanden och teknikasymmetri som förelåg i Persiska viken 1991. Terrängen var nästan helt platt vilket gav god effekt för pansarvärnsrobotarnas övertag i skjutavstånd gentemot irakiska stridsvagnar. Oljerök och dimma gjorde att deras termiska sikten kunde verka där inga irakiska motsvarigheter fanns.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine how five childrens librarians in Ireland and five in Sweden interpret and implement the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child in public libraries. This study is hermeneutic. Using a qualitative method consisting of ten interviews with childrens librarians and structural factors such as; library policies and laws; together with an insight into Irelands political, social and economical history and the historical development of childrens public libraries in Sweden and Ireland, has enabled us to create an understanding for the interviewees statements. Anthony Giddens structuration theory has been used for the analysis, helping us to determine how the duality between the structure, the actors and their action effect the interpretation and implementation of the Convention in librarian work. The result of the analysis clearly shows that in comparison to Irish librarians, the Swedish interviewees are more aware and have a better understanding of the Convention and how to put it into practice.

The consumption of ethical clothes is a complex phenomenon though, where aspects such as quality, style, function, price, time assets, accessibility and ethical attitudes affect the decision making. Researches that have been executed show the diversities in development between different countries. There are fairly strong indications that the ethical clothing market is more advanced in the United Kingdom than in Sweden and therefore these two countries are objects of this research. The aim with this thesis is to describe and explain what have affected the development of the ethical clothing market in the United Kingdom compared to Sweden. For that reason a qualitative approach has mainly been used, where deep interviews with people within the ethical clothing industry have contributed to most of the empirical part. As a complement secondary data such as statistics of the two countries have been used in order to investigate our area. One useful tool, among others, to investigate the macro environment is the SLEPT model.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze to what degree the peacekeeping personnel in Liberia, foremost staff working for the UN and agencies related to the UN, have implemented Resolution 1325 in their work. Resolution 1325 was adopted by the members of the United Nations Security Council in year 2000 and aims to increase the efforts made to secure women's rights and security in parts of the world where war and crisis prevail.
