Rational Unified Process (RUP) är en formaliserad systemutvecklingsmetod. Det har dock visat sig att RUP inte är helt enkelt att införa, därför är det relevant att söka nya kostnadseffektiva vägar som stödjer införandet och användandet av processen. RUP används av många såväl statliga som privata företag och därför kan bildandet av interorganisatoriska nätverk vara ett kostnadseffektivt sätt att utbyta erfarenheter om införandet och användningen av roller i RUP. Syftet med denna uppsats var att ta fram koncept för hur ett interorgani- satoriskt nätverk bör vara uppbyggt för att stödja införandet av RUP samt användandet av roller i RUP. Resultatet visar att vid bildandet av interorganisatoriska nätverk bör syftet och målet med samarbetet klargöras.

This paper examines whether membership in the European Union has contributed to democratic stability and integration in an ethnic diverse society. By studying the Latvian multicultural society, before and after membership in the EU, the author is looking for evidence of enhanced ethnic stability in the country brought through European integration. The author will analyze what the consequences have been, by adopting European regional policy, for a country that yet has to create a unified national identity. By analyzing different areas of the Latvian society, the author has concluded that the EU has played a small but yet not insignificant role for the Latvian domestic integration process..

Det existerar i dagsläget många färdigutvecklade mjukvaror för att underlätta olika organisationers processer.  Dessa mjukvaror täcker ofta stor del av den funktionalitet som organisationen behöver ? till ett förhållandevis lågt pris.Priset för att skräddarsy mjukvara, i motsats till färdigutvecklad mjukvara, efter sin egen organisation kan, speciellt när företaget är litet, vara väldigt högt i förhållande till lönsamheten. Då alla organisationer är olika, och således har olika funktionalitetskrav kan flera system behövas för att täcka dem. Överlappningen som sker mellan systemen ger plats för redundant data, som utan noggrann kontroll kan bli felaktig data.En lösning är att integrera mjukvaror med varandra för att skapa bryggor emellan och således ta bort risken för felaktig data. Detta är ursprungspunkten för denna undersökning.

This study revolves around the NATO-led Operation Unified Protector in Libya 2011. The military campaign was executed under a UN mandate to protect the Libyan civilian population. Despite the mandate civilians died because of NATO bombings. The purpose of this study is to identify inadequate measures in avoiding civilian casualties during the operation and to continue to work towards minimizing civilian casualties caused by military organizations in international interventions.Early in the operation, NATO?s objective altered from protecting the civilians to over­throwing the Libyan regime. At the same time NATO changed its military targeting.

Unified Protocol är en transdiagnostisk kognitiv beteendeterapi baserad på empiriskt stödda principer. Uppsatsens syfte var att kvalitativt beskriva gruppbehandlingsdeltagares vardagliga upplevelser ur ett psykologiskt perspektiv. Frågeställningen var om det fanns skillnader vid jämförelse mellan före och efter behandlingen och hur eventuella skillnader och likheter såg ut. Deltagargruppen var diagnostiskt heterogen. De sex informanterna, två män och fyra kvinnor, intervjuades enskilt.

Denna rapport handlar om prioritering av användningsfall för användningsfallsdrivna, arkitekturfokuserade, iterativa och inkrementella processer som exempelvis Rational Unified Process. I många situationer måste man göra en avvägning av vilka användningsfall som är viktigast att implementera. Vid iterativ och inkrementell utveckling måste man alltid välja användningsfall till nästföljande iteration och vid resursbrist kan man tvingas välja bort något användningsfall. Syftet med detta arbete är att utreda vilka prioriteringsmetoder som finns tillgängliga, vilka faktorer som påverkar prioriteringen och hur dessa skall vägas mot varandra, samt föreslå eller utarbeta en praktiskt användbar prioriteringsmetod. Mitt vetenskapliga synsätt, för ett arbete av den här karaktären, är relativt hermeneutiskt.

A unified model of stress and affect consciousness was proposed. The connection between affect consciousness and perceived stress was studied. Teachers (n = 19) were interviewed using Monsens affect interview, followed one month later by a questionnaire containing Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-S, STAI-T) and Twenty Item Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20).Statistical analysis showed no connections between level of total affect consciousness and perceived stress. Though there were some indications of a negative relationship between affect consciousness and trait anxiety. There were also indications, using a complementary analysis, of a connection between level of affect consciousness on the subscale distress in the interview and perceived stress.

Systemutveckling omfattar alltmer komplexa och tidskrävande uppgifter, vilket lett till större fokus på användningen av metoder och processer. Systemutvecklingsmetoder är ofta generellt beskrivna för att passa flera olika typer av verksamheter och projekt. Generaliseringen gör att metoden passar alla och ingen, vilket kan föranleda att den måste anpassas för att ge optimal hjälp och vägledning till en enskild verksamhet.Detta arbete belyser hur systemutvecklingsprocessen RUP anpassas, införs och används inom ett företag, samt vilka problem som är förenat med detta. Studien omfattas av en fallstudie som gjorts vid ett större mjukvaruutvecklingsföretag.Resultatet visar att processen inte används i sin helhet, utan att delar valts ut och integrerats med befintlig metodik. Anpassnings- och införande arbetet har organiserats som projekt och resultatet har dokumenterats i development case.

The main objective of this thesis is to study how the structures of a sell dialog, via a web shop, should be designed in order to support and inspire the customer. To get the answer to this question I use a qualitative and quantitative method. The qualitative method is applied in connection with different interviews. The quantitative method is used to analyze different answers given from those who are interviewed. I also use the deductive method due to my interest of studying how reality can relate to the theories with the choice of the subject.Moreover, this thesis is structured by three main perspectives; company, customers and techniques.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att bidra med kunskap om hur Use Cases kan användas och omdet fanns en möjlighet att återanvända dem. Use Cases är ett av de mest användaverktygen för modellering, de beskriver en sekvens av en händelse som inskaffar ettmätbart värde. Use Cases fångar funktionaliteten i olika situationer. Vår studie varkoncentrerad på skillnaden mellan Use Cases så som vi uppfattat Rational UnifiedProcess (RUP) modell jämfört med Telecas återanvändbara Use Cases. Undersökningengjordes på telekomföretaget Teleca.

There are several competing views on how to best utilize air power. Following his quantitative study of air power, Robert Pape developed a theory which focuses on undermining the target state's military strategy. According to Pape it is possible to explain the outcome as a result of military vulnerability. This essay seeks to determine if Pape's theory can predict the outcome of Operation Unified Protector. By using a mixed methods approach on four hypotheses, it will be determined if the operation was a successful case of coercion, if NATO acted according to Pape's model and whether this achieved the desired effects or not. The results reveal that the theory could not successfully predict the outcome of the conflict.

In April 2010 Vägverket (the Swedish National Road Agency) andBanverket (the Swedish National Railway Agency) will merge intoTrafikverket (the Swedish National Traffic Agency). Trafikverket willassume unified responsibility for the risk management that atpresent is responsibility of Vägverket and Banverket separately. Atpresent, as it will be shown in this thesis, Vägverket and Banverketshare the same theoretical background for risk management but usedifferent implementations often within the same agency. The use ofdifferent implementations results in a reduced transparency of therisk management both within and outside the agencies: this willbecome even more problematic when they will be fused intoTrafikverket.The aim of this thesis is to review the current risk managementmethodologies used at Vägverket and Banverket and to suggest aunified tool for the risk management at Trafikverket. This will bedone by focusing in particular on construction projects, one fromVägverket (Partihallsförbindelsen) and one from Banverket(Nynäsbanan).

Some research suggests that identification of the client's conscious or unconscious needs clarifying the so-called core process in the organization and operations can thus be more effective. The study aims to identify and analyze the experience of the core process within child health care. The method has been interviews with nine managers and 10 clinic nurses in a county. The results show a lack of knowledge regarding core process and process work.
