Nathan Söderblom, Swedish archbishop 1914 - 1931, understands his role as bishop from an integrated theological conception that episcopacy is a gift to the church and the apostolic succession a heritage of utmost value. Episcopacy is an important tool to make the churches come together. in his work for peace during the Great War it was through his position without any power that he could approach the politicians. His calling was not only for Sweden; he had a responsibility for the whole world. In the Ecumenical Cope for the 1925 Stockholm meeting Söderblom expressed his views on the importance of the Uppsala see.

This MA thesis analyzes how the protagonists and the narrative structure relates to ?the Child? as a linguistic/cultural construction in Mare Kandre?s early authorship (1984-1991). A thematic of children portraits defines this period of Kandre?s writing, which consits of the following works: In a Different Country (1984), The Annunciation (1986), Bübin?s Kid (1987), The Burning Tree (1988) and Aliide, Aliide (1991).Linguistic components, such as the word ?child?, the name ?Kid? and a reconstruction of the concept of childhood, holds an actuate position in these narratives when they first appear in direct relation to the protagonists. This suggests how generally accepted categories and concepts consciously are at work in Kandre?s writings.

This essay discusses children?s rights and control and system of rules in HVB-homes that provide treatment for adolescences with drug abuse prob­lems or criminal behavior. The results of this study are based on interviews with four persons working in managerial positions on different HVB-homes and shows the difficulties of having a children?s rights perspective in a con­text where a higher level of control is necessary to protect the best interest of the child. The study suggests that the question of balance between children?s right and the need for controlling system of rules needs to be fur­ther dis­cussed to improve, and as far as possible guarantee that these adoles­cence receive best possible care and do not suffer unfair restrictions on liber­ties..

Today?s cell phones include more and more functionality, it is no longer uncommon to be able to connect to the Internet or take photos with the cell phone. In this thesis the question is if the cell phone users are interested in this new functionality. Are there people who are interested in a cell phone that in this thesis is called ?Basmobilen? (the entry level phone), which include the following functions; phone call, SMS, phone book, calling lists, clock and the possibility to change the call signal.

As the 2010 Swedish election was closing in, there was a discussion about how the media represented the different party leaders in a differential and unfair manner. This study aims to identify if there were any differences in how four of these party leaders, Lars Ohly, Maud Olofsson, Fredrik Reinfeldt and Mona Sahlin were treated in four individual questioning sessions on Swedish television. Utilizing conversation analysis the study focuses on identifying differences in the usage of interruptions between the four different sessions. The study also analyzes the aggressiveness of the journalists? questioning and how they designed their questions in the four different sessions.

The increasing health problems in our society have been lifted to the surface and debated for quite some time now. Even though the statistics of bad health somewhat have dropped, the problems still remain. Many companies are wrestling with this and are suffering from huge financial losses due to the costs of people frequently calling in sick for work. This has resulted in an increasingly high expansion of different types of preventive measures in order to avert health problems. Källberg P, Lourenco Calling M. En kvalitativ enkätundersökning/fältstudie om sjuksköterskors inställning till användandet av Standardvårdplaner(SVP). Examensarbete i omvårdnad, 15 högskolepoäng. Syftet med denna empiriska enkätstudie var att ta reda på sjuksköterskors inställning till användandet av standardvårdplaner (SVP), avseende användarvänlighet, kvalitetssäkerhet, dokumentation, SVP som ett arbetsredskap och införandet av SVP. 35 sjuksköterskor på två avdelningar på ett sjukhus i södra Sverige blev tillfrågade att delta i studien och 17 bestämde sig för att deltaga.Till slut delades det analyserade materialet in i fyra kategorier, med samma namn som nämns i syftet, användarvänlighet, kvalitetssäkerhet, dokumentation, SVP som ett arbetsredskap/införandet av SVP. Majoriteten av sjuksköterskorna som deltog i studien hade en positiv helhetsbild av SVP:n, men de flesta tyckte att den behövde vidareutvecklas för att få bättre struktur, då den ibland skapar mer arbete istället för att vara ett hjälpredskap. During the later half of the 20th century standard form contracts began to be used more frequently in contract situations. This trend has been consistent and in today?s world numerous commercial parties employ such contracts in their business transactions. The reasons for the extended use of standard form contracts are the benefits that can be obtained for the parties such as time efficiency, effectiveness and price advantages. Standardised contracts often regulate certain issues of the contract for example the way of delivery, remedies and complaints.

In situ sekvensering är en metod som kan användas för att lokalisera differentiellt uttryck av mRNA direkt i vävnadssnitt, vilket kan ge viktiga ledtrådar om många sjukdomstillstånd. Idag förloras många av sekvenserna från in situ sekvensering på grund av det kvalitetsmått man använder för att säkerställa att sekvenser är korrekta. Det finns troligtvis möjlighet att förbättra prestandan av den nuvarande base calling-metoden eftersom att metoden är i ett tidigt utvecklingsskede. Vi har genomfört explorativ dataanalys för att undersöka förekomst av systematiska fel och korrigerat för dessa med hjälp av statistiska metoder. Vi har framförallt undersökt tre metoder för att korrigera för systematiska fel:I) Korrektion av överblödning som sker på grund avöverlappande emissionsspektra mellan fluorescenta prober.II) En sannolikhetsbaserad tolkningav intensitetsdata som resulterar i ett nytt kvalitetsmått och en alternativ klassificerare baseradpå övervakad inlärning.III) En utredning om förekomst av cykelberoende effekter, exempelvisofullständig dehybridisering av fluorescenta prober.Vi föreslår att man gör följande saker:Implementerar och utvärderar det sannolikhetsbaserade kvalitetsmåttetUtvecklar och implementerar den föreslagna klassificerarenGenomför ytterligare experiment för att påvisa eller bestrida förekomst av ofullständigdehybridisering.

To act responsible in relation to environmental, economic and social issues is a trend that is spreading among businesses and their investors. In order to assess business risks, ethical interested investors are calling for open, honest, clear CSR information that can be followed up in corporate sustainability reports. The ability to communicate about risks and to meet investors requests already in the business analytic process can save resources and increase the company?s profitability.The idea that companies should take responsibility for their impact on society from economic, environmental and social perspective is called Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR. In addition to CSR, there is another three-letter abbreviation in this context, PRI ? Principles for Responsible Investment ? which are principles, signed by ethically interested investors.

The discussion concerning what role the church and theology should have in a modern, western society is a question that is ongoing in Sweden as well as in other countries. The present; American theologians Stanley Hauerwas and Max L. Stackhouse have different ideas concerning the identity of the church and theology as well as their relation to the society they are in. This essay surveys their views on the church and the theology and how they should relate to the society. Hauerwas focuses his theology on the church, and the first part of the essay deals with his view on what makes a church, how it differs from the rest of the world and what the church?s calling is.

Men's violence against women is an issue that exists all over the world. There are several scientists and organisations that work with this issue in one way or another. In Sweden an organisation called ROKS, and a scientist called Eva Lundgren, has been in the limelight for medias attention several times. The impression has been given that Eva Lundgren is a very controversial scientist and that her research is very different from other research about men's violence against women.The aim with this essay is therefore foremost to look at research from different scientists and compare them to Eva Lundgrens research. I found three so called levels about why men use violence against women.
