Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka uppfattningarna hos karaktärsämneslärarna på gymnasiet med inriktning mot El-programmet, elektronik/datorteknik vad gäller de arbetsuppgifter som de utför inom karaktärsämnet, hur förberedda de menar sig vara för dessa uppgifter, samt i vad mån de anser sig behöva utveckla sin kompetens. Vidare var syftet att ta reda på vilken kompetensutveckling som erbjuds för dessa arbetsuppgifter. Studien bygger, utifrån frågeställningen i syftet, på en kvalitativ undersökning med hjälp av intervjuer. Intervjuerna genomfördes med sex karaktärsämneslärare inom avsedda program fördelat på fyra gymnasieskolor i fyra olika orter.Resultatet visar att samtliga intervjuade känner sig kompetenta i sitt verksamma karaktärsområde i och med att de har både relevant utbildning och arbetslivserfarenhet. Men de flesta utför helst inte frivilligt det administrativa arbetet utan de vill ägna sin tid åt den tekniska delen som intresserar dem mest.

SyfteSyftet med studien var att hos äldre undersöka en rad olika fysiologiska parametrar före och efter en 8-veckors styrketräningsperiod med relativt tung styrketräning vid tre tillfällen per vecka för att ta reda på om denna metod fungerar hälsofrämjande. Frågeställningarna i arbetet gällde inverkan av relativt tung styrketräning på diverse styrketester samt på ett glukostoleranstest.Metod20 testpersoner (TP), i åldern 66 ? 79, slumpades in i en träningsgrupp (n = 11) och en kontrollgrupp (n = 9). Av dessa var 11 kvinnor och 9 män. Vid urvalet togs hänsyn till ett par medicinska tillstånd, däribland fick ingen TP ha uttalad diabetes typ-2, men även fysisk aktivitetsnivå som ej fick vara alltför högt samt möjlighet att delta.

The smartphone is part of our daily life. Smartphone users type on a screen area that is no larger than the palm of a hand. To help with this endeavor the software known as AutoCorrect was created. However little is known about how AutoCorrect actually change the language and if AutoCorrect users at all perceive the impact it has. This study aims to find out if our test subjects are aware of AutoCorrect?s presence and how much it influences them.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse and discuss clinch-nails found at an excavation at terrace II in the Garrison of Birka, on the island of Björkö in Sweden. This type of clinch-nails is common in Viking age Sweden and is usually interpreted as coming from boats. The study will try to show that these types of nails could have been used in several kinds of wooden constructions. It will also show how the nails were made and what kinds of tools were used by the Viking smiths. The study has shown that this type of nails were used in several different types of wooden constructions such as boats, sleds, cart bodies, coffins, Birka's ramparts and buildings.

Fortifikationsverket which is the landlord for the Swedish national defence has a great problem in their forestry due to the relatively large amount of metal objects in their timber. These metal objects cause different types of economical losses in the timber refinement chain. To enable out sorting of logs containing metal objects already in the harvesting phase, Fortifikationsverket is interested of the possibility to utilize some type of metal detector in a harvesting head for that purpose.The goal of this study was to, with help of a case study, enlighten the problem that metal objects in timber cause for Fortifikationsverket and their customers of timber and to investigate conditions of to mount and utilize some kind of metal detector in a harvesting head at present.The saw timber deliveries by Fortifikationsverket during the time period 2003-2005 was used as a reference volume for calculations of economical losses. In this case study was included two sawmills where timber from Fortifikationsverket were delivered to for further refinement. Factors investigated were the type of damage metal objects caused in these two sawmills and the economical signification of these damages.

Andel vuxna med fetma har fördubblats sedan 1990 och en ökning av fetma fortsätter än idag, trots en ökad fysisk aktivitet bland populationen. För att motivera för förändring av levnadsvanor bör hänsyn tas till tre begrepp; värdighet, self-efficacy och empowerment. Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka om ökad upplevelse av self-efficacy kan främja hälsosamma levnadsvanor och hur sjuksköterskan kan arbeta för att stödja patienter. Metod: Vald metod är en litteraturöversikt.

The purpose of this report was to investigate how the abiotic factors (temperature, pH, nutrients, oxygen levels and water content) would affect the decomposition of oil-contaminated soil and how a variance in structured soil would affect the decomposition-rate. A minor field-study was made and soil where structured in five different ways (one was a default pile and was used as a reference). The study took place over 137 days and three samples were taken (start, middle, end) and analyzed for aromatic and aliphatic compounds. The result of this study shows that there is a significant difference between all methods for the aliphatic compounds and no significant difference for the aromatic compounds. The abiotic factors that affect decomposition vary from organism to organism, depending on what type of environment it will function the best.

Även hur patientens syn på hälsa och sjukdomskontroll samt hur enallmänsjuksköterska ska bemöta detta är delar av studiens problemformulering. Därförvaldes syftet att beskriva vad som påverkar möjligheter till hälsa för patienter meddiabetes mellitus typ 2.Metoden utgår ifrån Axelssons (2012, ss. 203-220) metod för litteraturstudie.

A standard method for single-event methods is part of IEC standard 61000-4-30.This thesis emphasizes the importance of voltage sag indices and different methods for calculating three-phase voltage sag characteristics. Three-phase events measured in a medium network voltage over period of one month were analyzed, results examined and statistically evaluated. An algorithm for calculating voltage sag characteristics and indices was created in Matlab.

Although changes have been made over time regarding contracting formswithin the road administration, the railway sector has not improved or justified changesregarding choice of contracting, they have conducted same contracting relationshipsbetween them and the contractor.This bachelor thesis, conducted at the Swedish railway administration with supervision ofprofessor Kristian Widén at Lunds University, explores the forces behind the new era ofcontracting within the railway administration. However, this system did not work satisfying enough to fulfill Husqvarna?s needs and they are now looking for a system that can handle the ideas from the employees in a more effective way.

This study examines how formal mathematics can be taught in the Swedish secondary school with its new curriculum for mathematics. The study examines what a teaching material in formal mathematics corresponding to the initial content of the course Mathematics 1c could look like, and whether formal mathematics can be taught to high school students.The survey was conducted with second year students from the science programme. The majority of these students studied the course Mathematics D. The students described themselves as not being motivated towards mathematics.The results show that the content of the curriculum can be presented with formal mathematics. This both in terms of requirements for content and students being able to comprehend this content.
