There was a silence surrounding homosexuality in the People's Republic of Poland. One can almost get the impression that same sex love, and same sex relationships, did not even exist there; that the communists had successfully removed homosexuality from society. The roots of this silence can be found in the Communist Party´s disdain for anything deemed individualist and deviant, and also in the conservatism and religiosity of the Polish society.In my thesis I study when and how gays and lesbians found a way out of the silence that surrounded their sexuality. Gay men did so by creating subcultures, which found refuge in parks, public bathrooms and a few bars in larger Polish cities, and offered a sense of belonging for them. Lesbians, on the other hand, lacked this access to semi-public spheres, which made it even harder for them to find each other and create a space for their sexuality.

ABSTRACTTitel: Utvärdering av ett äldreboendes renoverings- och omorganiseringsprocessFörfattare: Emmy Johansson och Susanna PaulssonNyckelord: äldreomsorg, personal, vårdtagare, organisatoriska förändringar, konflikt, maktutövning och förändringsmotstånd.Den här studien är baserad på ett uppdrag från en mindre kommun som efterfrågar en utvärderingen inom äldreomsorgsverksamheten. I centrum för utvärderingen står ett äldreboende som tidigare varit ett sjukhem vilket har genomgått en omfattande renoverings- och omorganiseringsprocess. Vårt syfte har varit att undersöka personalens upplevelser av såväl de materiella som de organisatoriska förändringarna samt identifiera om dessa omändringar har fått någon betydelse för deras arbetssituation. Vi ville även utreda om ledningen hade kunnat agera annorlunda i något avseende och i så fall hur. En kvalitativ intervjumetod med personal, äldreomsorgs- och enhetschef har använts för att uppnå syftet och besvara våra frågeställningar.Det framkommer i studien att personalen har upplevt förändringsfasen som turbulent, omvälvande och långdragen.

Previously studies have shown that the way companies explain outcome in their annual report is not totally trustworthy. Studies show that the management has a self serving bias when they explain the result to give a positive image of the company. Our study is based on investigations into this phenomenon in the telecom market in Sweden. Turbulent market conditions with, among other, deregulation of the monopoly of fixed telephony and a huge technical evolution, which has led to an increase in competition, is the reason to why we have chosen to study the telecom market in Sweden. As a benchmark in our study the attribution theory will be used.

Magdalena Rudenschöld (born 1766, died 1823) was a woman in Swedish history, who lived a turbulent life. As a young woman she was employed at the Swedish court and got to know the king of that time, Gustaf III, and she became the mistress of one of his closest deputies, Gustaf Mauritz Armfelt. After the killing of Gustaf III, a temporary government was formed. This was a regency that was put there on behalf of Prince Gustaf Adolf, since he was not yet of age to run the country. The commission to conduct this temporary government was given to Duke Carl, who was the dead king?s brother.King Gustavus III?s former employees and Officers were after the king?s death, opposed by the temporary government, and they were moved to other assignations.
