Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka gymnasieungdomars inställningar till politiska val i Sverige samt att se skolans roll för politiskt engagemang. Arbetet ger en insikt i unga människors valdeltagande. Med hjälp av intervjuer vill jag se gymnasieungdomars inställningar till politiska val. Sammanfattningsvis pekar resultaten på att dagens unga har tappat tron på demokratin och de kan svika dagens demokrati för en ny politisk arena som består utav de utomparlamentariska grupperna samt att skolan inte tycks ha något större inflytande när det gäller politiska val..

In this thesis I analyse civilizations in South America. I construct civilizationalnarratives through the method of emplotment, to build a historic continuity, whichI subsequently connect to the theoretical framework. The theory emphasise that,when confronted with globalization and free market capitalism, civilizationsembark on different strategies to challenge the power of transnational marketforces. I find that South America is a polarised continent, and is divergingconcerning the relationship towards the USA and free trade agreements. On thesame time the issues that concern the social movements are not being reproducedin a significant matter at state level.

When someone dies there will always be an inheritance, an inheritance that earlier has been seen as a national concern. However, every year there are about 450 000 deaths within the European Union linked to more than one country, either when the deceased has changed his state of residence or when he has assets in another state, for example a Swedish national with a summer house in Spain. The problem is to determine which na-tional law that is supposed to be applicable to the inheritance.There are two principles that can be applicable on the choice of law, the principle of na-tionality and the principle of residency. If the principle of nationality is used the inherit-ance will be regulated by the deceased`s citizenship while the principle of residency takes aim on the deceased´s last domicile instead. Conflicts can occur between the two principles so that the legacy must be divided between two different legislations.In October 2009 the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions and authentic instruments in matters of succession and the creation of a European Certificate of Succession was presented, a regulation that will try to create harmonized rules on in-teralia the inheritance matters.

According to tradition transcribed music is an important part of the repertoar for the classical guitar. Baroque music as well as compositions from the Spanish national romantic era are the two most important sources for transcriptions. My research is aimed at finding answers concerning the relevance of transcribing as well as playing different styles of music on the guitar. Are there any basic rules how these transcriptions should be made? I have chosen to take a closer look at the music of J S Bach as a representative of the baroque period because of the great legacy of his music being played on guitar and lute.

Tron på egen datoranvändningsförmåga (CSE) hos studenter vid högskolan Dalarna undersöktes. Resultaten av denna undersökning jämförs med tidigare forskningsresultat där forskare använt samma CSE skala (Cassidy and Eachus, 2002). Studenterna är antagna till olika program vid Högskolan Dalarna (ekonomi, lärare och mediekommunikation) och jämförs med varandra och med en kontrollgrupp. Effekterna m.a.p. dataerfarenhet och kön på CSE undersöktes också.

This thesis discusses the attitudes versus methadone assisted rehabilitation ad modum Dole Nyswander in Sweden during the period 1972-2004. This is done by means of a Foucault inspired discourse analysis applied on the directions issued by the Board of Health and Social Affairs. The context in which these directions were created is also described, in which scientific achievements on methadone treatments during the period, and the main actors struggling to establish and define the discourse on narcotics and narcomania, are juxtaposed to the effects of the work of the Board. It is stated that the directions were largely affected not by scientific results and knowledge on methadone, but by the symbolic connotations of narcotics in Sweden established in the discourse already in the mid 1960´s. Also during the end of the studied period, after the occurence of AIDS had begun making methadone more broadly accepted, the findings of this thesis showed that the legacy of the 1970´s symtomtheory and its severe antagonism against methadone, was still present, in effect, in the discourse around methadone and subutex assisted rehabilitation, and so in the directions issued by the Board of Health and Social Affairs..

Jag började intressera mig för konst i tron att samhället snart skulle rasa samman. Detviktiga blev att göra något roligt men samtidigt få en chans att påverka eller säga något. Imin tro har detta "snart" nu förflyttats många år framåt i tiden och perspektiven hardärmed förändrats. I min konstnärliga praktik undersöker jag relationen till naturen ur ett västerländskt perspektiv. Fokuset hamnar på frågor om makt, om behovet av att på olika sätt kontrollera naturen.

I den här uppsatsen undersöker jag det rationella i att tro på Jesu uppståndelse. Då uppståndelsen är en central del i den kristna läran kan man tänka sig att det är viktigt för troende kristna att bevisa att det inte är irrationellt att tro på den. En sådan troende kristen är Stephen T Davis och det jag särskilt tittar på här är huruvida denne lyckas bevisa det rationella i att tro på uppståndelsen. I en debatt mellan honom och Michael Martin försöker Davis visa att uppståndelsen är sannolik. Martin kommer i sitt svar med invändningar, där han förklarar att uppståndelsen är osannolik.

Detta examensarbete har som syfte att besvara frågan hur synen på barnet inom Freinetpedagogiken ser ut när det gäller läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Vi börjar med att belysa den litteratur som finns skriven om Freinetpedagogiken men även den litteratur vi fått tillgå genom vår utbildning gällande svenskämnet. Då vi genom litteraturen om Freinetpedagogiken inte fann svar på våra frågor genomförde vi en kvalitativ undersökning med pedagoger ute på Freinetskolor i landet, genom intervju samt enkät. Underlaget i undersökningen blev tyvärr litet och undersökningen kan därför inte räknas som tillförlitlig. Huvudresultatet vi får är att det inom Freinetpedagogiken existerar barn med läs- och skrivproblem.

The Swedish museum world is a complex and disputed field. Changes are high on the agenda, but they are neither easy nor self-evident. This master thesis looks at how Swedish museum professionals discuss changes and how they envision museum work for the future. It is also an analysis of the current state of the field. We have made a critical discourse analysis of three recent projects; Svåra saker, Museum 2000, makten.nu and the debate articles from the journal Svenska Museer from 2000 to 2001.

Nature conservation has for a long time been founded on the assumption that high ecological values depend on low human impact. In Sweden this has led to forests with these characteristics being strictly protected from human influences. However, it is also known that historical land-use can enhance ecological values in forests. Mountainous forests in Sweden, which have not been affected by modern forestry, have for a long time been considered as untouched by people. However, forest history research has in recent years shown that even these areas have been used by people for a long period of time.

The thesis of this work has been to investigate the information behaviour of archaeologists. Interviews were made, between March-September 2002, with ten archaeologists, employed in one Swedish organisation, conducting rescue archaeology. The archaeologists were all experienced in working positions as project leaders. Our thesis could be expressed in following questions: - Which sources of information did the archaeologists use in their work? - Which external and internal factors had influence on the information behaviour? The results of this study have been analysed within a theoretical framework of T.D Wilson, Lars Seldén, Lars Höglund and Olle Persson, among others.

The market-leading wage and PA-.system for the Swedish public sector Palasso is developed in Karlstad. In order to achieve the highest quality of code , the developing team behind Palasso has been conducting extensive testing. Testing is done to ensure that the software does what it should do. However, the testing has been done at a high level. In order to continue to evolve, the group that develops Palasso has started to look at the new development methods that have become popular in the computer industry in recent years.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the perception of Christianity in nine textbooks andidentify changes in-between them and over time. The content of the textbooks will also bediscussed in relation to the steering documents connected to each book.I have chosen to focus on three curriculums, Lgy 70, Lpf 94 and Gy 11. My researchquestions are: how Christianity is treated in textbooks in religious studies in relation to theperception of Jesus, God and man? What are the differences/similarities across time andlearning materials? In what way does the textbooks change with the syllabuses?Text consumption and discursive practices is analyzed with the help of a set of tools thatare based on the critical discourse analysis and Fairclough's three-dimensional model. Theimage of Jesus, if described by a textbook, is also analysed.Three textbooks were chosen from each curricula.

This study was performed to investigate how the Japanese sect Aum Shinrikyo was legitimating its violence and killing acts. By analyzing the leader and members of the sect, and applying this information on two theoretical models, this paper tries to give an explanation of both single acts of violence and killing, and two terrorattacks.The result shows that Aum Shinrikyo was able to legitimate violence and killing acts through its ideology. In their opinion, cosmos was a place with several levels and everyone wanted to get as high as possible. Those who were killed by the sect would never be able to get to a higher level by living, since they would do too many bad actions. The murderers also got better karma since they helped the person to a better place.The legitimating of violence and killing acts in Aum Shinrikyo can be explained as a duty that is holy, which agrees with the theorists about religious terrorism..
