The aim of the study is to investigate how a teacher uses multimodal resources with an interactive whiteboard while teaching reading and writing. The aim is also to investigate what view the teacher has on using an interactive whiteboard while teaching reading and writing. Video-recorded observations and audio-recorded interviews are the methods used to collect data. The analysis was performed from a multimodal perspective and is also inspired by interaction analysis. The result of the analysis showed that the teacher uses several multimodal sign systems in combination with those found on the interactive whiteboard.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate whether placement, using a special display, of ecological products, will have an effect on consumer buying behaviour and thereby sales of these products. When talking about sales we refer to the amount of ecological products that are being bought, habitual and unplanned, as a response due to the placement of the products in-store. To further elucidate the purpose, the thesis will focus on if the placement of the products itself will have an impact on the customers? attitude towards buying ecological products. A deductive approach was applied where we did a quantitative study using triangulation to receive data to reveal if the placement of ecological products had any effect on the sales of these products.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att skapa en potentiell ny prognosmodell för realiserade kapitalvinster åt Finansdepartementet. Modellen skall prognostisera skatteutfallet för realiserade kapitalvinster efter att aktuellt inkomstår har passerat. Genom att dela upp realiserade kapitalvinster i delarna realiserade Finansiella kapitalvinster, realiserade Reala kapitalvinster samt realiserade Övriga kapitalvinster skall bättre prognoser för totala realiserade kapitalvinster genereras jämfört med Finansdepartementets nuvarande modell. Denna uppdelning av realiserade kapitalvinster har ej tidigare genomförts.För att kunna bedöma om den framtagna modellen (som presenteras i denna uppsats) är av värde kommer den att jämföras mot Finansdepartementets nuvarande modell. Jag kommer använda utvärderingskriterierna Absolutsumma avvikelsefel och Kvadratsumma avvikelsefel.Efter genomförd jämförelse kan slutsatsen dras att den framtagna modellen är bättre än den nuvarande prognosmodellen som Finansdepartementet använder..

 The purpose of this study is to investigate the attitude to and experience of information and communication technology (ICT) in teachers teaching and what motivates them. The study is qualitative and its research material is based on interviews. There are eight interviews and they where carried out at one school with a stated IT profile and at another school without a stated IT profile. The two schools are located in different municipalities, but both are secondary schools. The result shows that there are differences in attitude between the two schools. The school with a stated IT profile seems to have a more open mind of using ICT when teaching, but both schools sees the lack of availability as one of the main hindrance for using it. None of the participating teachers saw themselves as controlled to use ICT in their teaching.

Den här studien undersöker egna resurser och ideal som fyra studerande på den grundläggande utbildningen i psykoterapi vid Sankt Lukas utbildningsinstitut ger uttryck för. Vidare intresserar sig studien för hur de fyra studerandes uttryckta resurser och ideal överensstämmer med CER-modellen av Skovholt och Rønnestad. CER-modellen beskriver vad som gör en psykoterapeut framgångsrik, en så kallad master therapist. Undersökningsmaterialet består av åtta intervjuer som ingår i ett forskningsprojekt som är ett samarbete mellan Sankt Lukas utbildningsinstitut och Psykologiska institutionen vid Stockholms universitet och som fokuserar på frågan: Vad händer med studenter under en psykoterapi- och psykoterapeututbildning? Materialet har bearbetats enligt en deskriptiv metod och har sedan prövats mot CER-modellens kriterier.

During my practical training period I observed that many of the students have a negative attitude against mathematics. I also observed that these students have a difficulty reaching the goals in the subject. In my opinion there are different factors that can be the reason to why these students experiences mathematics as a difficult subject in school. This is the reason why I wanted to find out which factors that lies behind the difficulties and how the pedagogues work to support these students. It is also significant that every single student get their rights to develop a positive attitude against mathematics and that the pedagogue supports the students in their development.The point with this degree project is to find out, with the help of three pedagogues, which factors that could lead to difficulties in mathematics with students.

In this study, brand theory is applied to the results of a quantitative study of students? evaluation of an attractive employer, in order to identify the factors which explain why certain employers are perceived as more attractive than others.

Vectura är ett företag vars verksamhet är koncentrerad till transportinfrastruktur och deras mål är att hitta bättre lösningar för infrastrukturen. En stor del av trafikanterna i Sverige använder cykeln som transportmedel men cyklingen är i hög grad beroende av vädret som varierar hela tiden. Det varierande vädret gör det svårt att se hur cyklingen förändras över tiden och för att kunna se denna förändring behövs en modell som rensar cykelflödet från vädrets påverkan.Syftet med denna rapport är just att utveckla en sådan modell. Denna modell ska tas fram med hjälp av dels cykelflödesdata och dels väderdata från ett antal gator i städer runt om i Sverige och ska vara tillämpbar överallt i landet.Metoden som används för att ta fram modellen är multiplikativ tidsserieregression. Då syftet är att ta fram en rikstäckande modell måste en gemensam variabeluppsättning väljas som vi ska använda oss av när vi anpassar regressionskoefficienterna för varje gata.

År 2011 uppgick antalet personer som suiciderat i Sverige till 1387. Studier visar att den suicidbenägna patientens första kontakt med sjukvården är avgörande för hur det kommande vårdförloppet kommer att utvecklas. Ambulanspersonal är en av många yrkesgrupper som möter suicidbenägna patienter. Studier visar även på att om patienten möts av dåliga attityder så kan det medföra negativa konsekvenser för patienten. Syftet med studien var att översätta, re översätta och validera en engelsk enkät: the Suicide Behavior Attitude Questionnaire (SBAQ): för användning i den svenska ambulanssjukvården.

Abstract We are two teacher students with an ethnic background and we thought that it could be, exciting to work with subjects, like a multicultural environment in schools and the challenges within this environment for students, but also teachers. In this study, we focus on how the teachers work with bilingual students in a multicultural school. We wanted to get an understanding of the subject and to be able do so, we conducted some qualitative interviews. These interviews went through with teachers currently working at the same public school, teaching in classes from 1-5. Through this qualitative research, we were able to analyse, what the teachers attitude towards multilingualism is and what kind of methods they use organizing their teaching.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och analysera välkända strategimodellers applikationsförmåga för de specifika förutsättningar som tjänsteföretag inom storhushåll verkar inom. Metoden som vi valt är kvalitativ och materialet som används tar sin utgångspunkt i sekundärdata i form av offentliga och institutionella källor från kända strategiforskare och branschspecialister. Uppsatsen utgår teorimässigt från de tre strategiska analysmodellerna, Five Forces, SWOT och VRIO-modellen. Dessa analyseras i förhållande till den inriktning av storhushållsföretag som vi valt. Vi har i analys och slutsatser visat på vissa svagheter hos Five Forces-modellen, SWOT-modellen och VRIO-modellen när det gäller dessa modellers respektive applikationsförmåga på tjänsteföretag inom storhushåll.

Today environmental management systems (EMS) are common documents (more correctly, a combination of documents) that direct, steer and regulate environmental efforts within many companies. The intention of EMS is that its guidelines are reflected in how the employee carries out his everyday work tasks. This study aims to illuminate the attitudes that exist regarding the EMS at ALSTOM Power Sweden. By using questionnaires and interviews as a method to communicate with employees,a study of the existing attitudes regarding the EMS was carried out. The results were analyzed categorically and statistically and show that there are consistent attitudes among employees, but that there are also inconsistent attitudes.

Previous studies have pointed out the potential risks involved with targeting homosexual consumers by using ads with homosexual imagery in mainstream media. Many of these studies have indicated that there may be drawbacks with exposing heterosexuals to these kinds of advertisements. The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether this is true for all groups of heterosexual consumers. An experimental study was carried out to examine the effects of explicit homosexual imagery on a heterosexual group with a generally positive attitude towards homosexuality. Empirical evidence suggests that homosexual imagery does not elicit any negative reactions among these heterosexual consumers.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur sex lärare i moderna språk förhåller sig till individualisering i undervisningen. Metoden som använts är kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer med språklärare verksamma inom såväl grundskolan som gymnasiet. Undersökningens resultat åskådliggör en mångfald av tolkningar kring individualiseringsuppdraget hos lärare i moderna språk. Utifrån informanternas svar identifieras tre skilda individualiseringsmodeller. I den första modellen framstår individualiseringen framförallt som en metod baserad på nivåindelning och användande av särskilt material.
