Danmarksplass is situated just outside the centre of the city of Bergen on the Norwegian west coast. It was built in the 1930´s as a result of an architecture competition won by the prominent Norwegian architect Ole Landmark. Danmarksplass was originally meant to function as a local square, but its location next to Fjösangerveien, a road that caters for most of the through traffic in the Bergen valley today and is part of one of the main European roads, E39, would prove it difficult for that idea to prevail. Along with the ever increasing car traffic, Danmarksplass has more and more become a very busy traffic junction. Nowadays the car is the sole ruler of Danmarksplass.

Harmoniseringen av upphovsrättsskyddet inom den europeiska unionen har lett till ändringar i nationell rätt av flera medlemsstater. Vissa länder har som effekt av olika direktiv infört bestämmelser som gör det möjligt för domstol att ålägga internetleverantörer att blockera sina kunders tillgång till tjänster eller webbsidor som används för att begå upphovsrättsintrång. I Sverige tar detta sin form genom vitesförbud.Hovrätten har i mål nr Ö 10146-09 och i mål nr Ö 7131-09 vid vite ålagt internetleverantörer att sluta tillhandahålla internetuppkoppling för tjänster som används för att begå upphovsrättsintrång.Det torde vara lagenligt att genom föreläggande om vitesförbud även ålägga internetleverantörer att neka sina användare tillträde till en sådan tjänst. Detta torde vara fallet även om tjänsten i fråga är belägen i ett tredje land. Ett sådant föreläggande kan inte anses strida mot censurförbudet, även om tjänsten skulle vara grundlagsskyddad.

NCC ROADS Sweden east is a part of the NCC Corporation. The company mainly produces aggregates, asphalt and concrete. They have taken the environmental issues seriously and been working with that since the middle of the nineties. When manufacturing asphalt large a quantity of fossil energy is needed. The company is now about to make further progresses by manufacturing environmental friendly asphalt (?green asphalt?) with using bio-energy.

I gained my interest for color during my years at the landscape architect program. I felt that you as a student in design courses constantly were faced with the problems of coloration. A subject that I perceived to be difficult, especially for us students that lacked the experiences from how a project on the drawing board turns out when it finally is built. As a professional landscape architect you there have a greater experience but I wondered how much awareness about color you actually have as a professional. How does one think about coloration and how can you use color as a formative tool? And how does color truly affect us humans? Does color have significance for the experience of landscape architecture? The object with this project is to illustrate color and it?s place in landscape architecture.

Galna Glassen is a company that has a unique way of selling ice cream in Sweden. The idea is for the costumer to be able to compose their own favorite ice cream, partly by choosing the flavor of ice cream but also by picking the ingredients. The ingredients that can be chosen from are around twenty and can be everything from cookies to candy to berries. When the costumer has chosen their ice cream and ingredients they are mixed together on a cooled granite board.The company was very successful when it was founded in the summer of 2011 and decided to expand to other cities in Sweden. They also wanted to explore the profitability of a mobile sales unit that is intended for festivals and events.The thesis is meant to develop Galna Glassen?s mobile sales unit.

Syftet med detta arbete har varit att undersöka huruvida informationsteknik skapar möjligheter för tredje världen att utvecklas eller om IT i stället ökar klyftan mellan industriländer och utvecklande länder. Centralt i min diskussion har varit frågorna om globalisering och IT kan bidraga till en ny politisk ordning som grundas på dialog och samtycke i stället för våld och makt samt om globalisering och IT kan bidraga till en mer rättvis värld. Teoretisk utgångspunkt har varit Andrew Linklaters teori om "the triple transformation of political community". Tanken bakom den tredelade transformation är att skapa ökade sociala relationer som är mer universalistiska till sin natur, mindre ojämlika samt mer känsliga för kulturella skillnader. I mitt arbete påvisar jag tendenser till att informationstekniken kan bidraga till ökad universalism samt till ökad känslighet för kulturella skillnader.

- En granskning av Kairos Future. I Säffle sparar kommunen pengar genom att släcka var tredje gatlykta utanför centrum och tänker flytta delar av gymnasieskolan till Åmål. Samtidigt har kommunen lagt flera hundra tusen på ett pågående visionsarbete i samarbete med konsultföretaget Kairos Future..

The aim and purpose of the following study is twofold. The first part aims at clarifying different models of migration policy available within research of political science. The second part of the study applies the identified models onto an analysis of the official report ?Integrationens svarta bok? and the suggestions the reports presents. The findings of the study are multiple.

För att utröna hur stort handlingsutrymme handläggaren har i arbetet med de olika delarna av BBIC genomfördes en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av BBIC-triangeln. Tre teoretiska perspektiv användes för att analysera reultatet; symbolisk interaktionism, social konstruktivism och teorier om byråkrati. Innehållsanalysen resulterade i tre teman som symboliserar tre olika grader av handlingsutrymme som vi fann vid analysen av BBIC-triangeln. Det första temat var "Faktorer som kan komma att skapa missförhållanden".

The main purpose of this essay is on one hand to try to find and explain the formula of success of the rock group Status Quo, and on the other to elucidate and explain the foundation and essence in the music made by Status Quo, but also to study how, if and why the foundation and essence have changed over the years. The method of investigation is partly based on a musical analysis of three albums from three different periods: Hello! (1973), Ain´t Complaining (1988) and Heavy Traffic (2002), and partly on a sociological study of the group?s career between 1962 and today, 2005.The first part of the essay concerns the period between 1962-1973 with an analysis of the album Hello!; the second part concerns the period 1974-1988 and the album Ain´t Complaining; finally, the third part concerns the years between 1989-2002 with an intensified analysis of the album Heavy Traffic. In the forth part of the essay I discuss the career of Status Quo from a sociological point of view.I run to the conclusion that the essence of Status Quo is the boogie-woogie comp on Fender guitar by Rick Parfitt, the riff on Francis Rossis´ Fender guitar in combination with the base, the piano and the drums. This has been the essence through all the years, even though it was more difficult to apprehend it during the 1980s.

Syftet med studien är att från de yrkesverksammas perspektiv beskriva det som kan utmärka yrkesroll och yrkesidentitet på en ekumenisk arbetsplats. Jag har valt att empiriskt söka svar på dessa frågor och har intervjuat tre arbetslag. De tre arbetsplatser som jag besökt är Sjukhuskyrkan och Universitetskyrkan samt ett arbetslag för den andliga vården på häkte.Jag har valt att göra fokusintervjuer med en intervjustil där ämnet introduceras på ett sätt som öppnar för deltagarna att ge uttryck åt personliga åsikter och upplevelser. Svaren har analyserats med hjälp av en rollteoretisk modell. Enligt den rollteoretiska modell jag utgått från formas yrkesroll i växelspel med sammanhanget, det formella regelverket, de egna förväntningarna, samspelet med andra i arbetslaget och brukarnas förväntningar.

Under de senaste åren har användandet av Internet ökat snabbt i världen och om man tittar på hur stor andel av befolkningen som har tillgång till Internet i hemmet är Sverige ett av de ledande länderna. Alla datorer med en uppkoppling till Internet kan bli smittade av spyware, men trots detta är inte många användare medvetna om riskerna som spyware innebär. Syftet med denna studie är att ge en bred bild av vad spyware är och vilka hot det innebär. Vidare vill vi undersöka hur medveten om dessa problem hemanvändaren är.För att uppnå syftet har vi använt en kvantitativ metod genom att skicka ut enkäter till användare av PC-datorer i hemmet. Vi har också använt en kvalitativ metod genom att studera litteratur och artiklar för att göra kopplingarna klarare.Spyware är program som övervakar en datoranvändares aktiviteter och fångar upp data om användaren som skickas till Tredje part.

Despite the fact that men dominate substance abuse research and that most programs to target substance abuse therefore are developed by and for men, very little is known about the fact that substance abusing men can also be parents. Mothers are up until today regarded as the most important parent even though society is changing and fathers are taken a more active part in childrearing. The average father today still spends significantly less time with his children than the average mother does and marginalised drug abusing fathers often disappear from their families altogether. The goal and purpose of this paper has been that through a qualitative analyses of written sources and qualitative interviews with healthcare professionals and social workers recognise how marginalised drug abusing fathers interests of taking part in their children's lives are met by healthcare, treatment and child protection agencies and how we can understand marginalised fathering as an extension of how we view ordinary fathering. I wanted to examine if there are any specific actions taken in involving these men as fathers and how we can understand their situation.

This thesis has been focused around the Diels Alder reaction with the goal to design an enzyme catalyzed reaction pathway. To achieve this goal computer aided enzyme design was utilized. Common traditional methods of computational chemistry (B3LYP, MP2) do not do well when calculating reaction barriers or even reaction energies for the Diels Alder reaction. New calcu- lation methods were developed and tested. This was the focus of the first part of the thesis, by choosing a small system, extensive and heavy calculations could be done with CBS-QB3.
