Vad är den specifika skillnaden mellan lekmannamedlare respektive tjänstemedlare kring ett medlingsuppdrag? Empirin består av kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer med tre region- samordnare. Dessa ansvarar för olika medlingsverksamheter.

The aim of this thesis is to study the portrayal of Native Americans and its role through Albin Widén, a Swedish author, ethnologist and member of the Indian Club, and his non-fictional works on the Swedish migration to America, Swedish-America and Swedish contacts with Native Americans. The study is divided into four parts. The first part looks at the portrayal of the Native Americans in Widén?s writings, in comparison with Euro-Americans? and Europeans? traditional stereotypic images of a good and a bad Indian.

Avloppsreningsverket Sundet i Växjö har en rötningsanläggning som producerar biogas. Anläggningen består idag av två rötkammare och en maskin för avvattning som substratet går igenom efter rötningen. Substratet som används i rötningsprocessen är avloppsslam från Växjö. Planer finns på att utöka processen med en tredje reaktor i vilken det rötade slammet ska återrötas. Detta för att få ut mer biogas ur slammet.

This is a thesis about design of young stands of trees. A big source of inspiration has been Västerskog and Tor Nitzelius Park in Alnarp which both consists of a structure of squares. I wanted to examine if this type of planting could be valuable from an aesthetic and recreational point of view. One problem today is that many people believe that we have to wait for decades for a planting to grow up so that we can enjoy the ?ready result?.

Denna studie behandlar den syn man inom Reggio Emiliainspirerade förskolor har på pedagogisk miljö. Man tillskriver miljön ett sådant stort pedagogiskt värde att man benämner den ?den tredje pedagogen?. I studien har jag klarlagt Reggio Emiliafilosofins pedagogiska grundsyn och dess uppfattning om den fysiska miljön. Vidare har jag undersökt om det finns ett samband mellan fysisk miljö och lärande ? och därmed Reggio Emilias syn på pedagogisk miljö - genom att ta del av relevant forskning i ämnet samt genom intervjuer med två pedagoger med erfarenhet av Reggio Emiliainspirerade arbetssätt.

This study examines the work of art in the underground station Kungsträdgården in Stockholm and discusses the observers interpretation of the art in the station. When the artist Ulrik Samuelson got his commission to shape the station he was influenced by Marcel Duchamp and the concept art. Two themes were integrated in the work of art, the actual culture life and the palace called Makalös, which was situated just above the currant station, three hundred years ago. The station was built in two stages.The first part was opened in 1977 and the second part in 1987. Panofsky´s iconographic working method has been used in this essay.

This paper is a study of some of the mathematics textbooks that were used in Swedish public schools from 1842 to the present. During this period several revisions of the curriculum took place and led to a change of contents in the various books. The first part is a description of the books chosen and highlights from each are given and compared with the corresponding curriculum. Also social and political change and the role of men and women can be studied in the examples presented. A comparison between similar topics and how they were accounted for in the older versus the newer books follows suite.
