En studie i brott : kvinnlig brottslighet i Askeryds Socken, Småland 1825-30
This essay focuses on crime history and gender. It is a study of female crimes in the beginning of the 19th century in a small parish (Askeryd Socken) in Småland in the south part of Sweden. The method I have used is to study the records of Municipal Court regarding the citizens of the parish of Askeryd. I have then tried to find out whether the female offenders have been Treated different than the male offenders, if there is a certain kind of gender-related crimes and in those cases where comparison is possible, I have examined if the females are Treated in a lighter way. (?female discount?), or if they were Treated as mentally unstable. The essay shows that in this particular parish during the years 1825 to 1830, female offenders were not Treated in a lighter manner.
Analys av vävnadsprover med endimensionell elektrofores
The following project has been made in collaboration with, Denator AB, a biotechnology enterprise. One-dimensional electrophoreses have been used to analyze protein contents of tissue samples. Tissue samples have been either Treated according to the company´s newly developed tissue treatment technique or not Treated at all and comparisons between these samples have been made. In order to see differences in protein patterns between samples more clearly, a conversion method has been developed where electrophoresis gel visual patterns are used to produce curves, similar to densitometer curves.Denator AB would like to know if the proteins in their Treated samples will change visibly over 48 h when incubated at room temperature. This has been investigated using the above mentioned method.

Huggormsbett hos hund i Sverige : en klinisk studie och litteraturöversikt
Every year many dogs in Sweden are bitten by the adder, a venomous snake (Vipera berus). Despite the fact that adder bites are so common in dogs there have been few investigations made that study the effects of treatment with glucocorticoids, a drug that is commonly used. We have carried out a literature study concerning adder bites in dogs and a prospective study where case history, clinical signs and treatment have been recorded in dogs that were presented at two veterinary hospitals after a confirmed or suspected adder bite. Fifty three dogs were included in the study out of which 22 were Treated with glucocorticoids. In our study, the group of dogs Treated with glucocorticoids was compared with the group of dogs that did not receive glucocorticoid treatment by the owner or on arrival at the clinic.

ArjoWiggins therefore wish to replace the current compound. To strengthenthe patent requirements for ink adhesion needs to be determined. A theory is developed to whychemicals with certain properties maximize the ink adhesion. Experiments are performed but theresults are inaccurate.

Inhibiting the IGF-1 receptor with the cyclolignan Picropodophyllin: an in vitro study of ovulation, implantation and receptivity in a mouse model
Picropodophyllin (PPP) is an analogue of the anti tumour lignan podophyllotoxin with the unique ability to selectively inhibit the receptor of Insulin like growth factor 1(IGF-1). IGF-1 is believed to play an important part in development of the endometrium facing implantation. With PPP Treated mice, studies can be made to measure gene expression from tissue of both Treated and unTreated mice to compare the role of IGF-1 regarding ovulation, implantation and receptivity. The aim of this study was to analyze gene expression of some steroid hormone receptors and cytokines in ovaries from mice Treated with PPP. In this study, seven mice were Treated with PPP at different times and tissue was collected.

Jämförelse mellan viltbehandlade och obehandlade granplantor : Med inriktning på höjdtillväxt och betesfrekvens
The report is a comparative study between spruce plantations where 4 plants are Treated with deer repellents and 4 plantations are unTreated. The study aims to provide a base for the Forest Society's future decisions regarding the use of wildlife-repellents. The report indicates that wildlife-repellents work reasonably well for its purpose, the Treated stocks were virtually untouched during the planting year and next year while the unTreated stocks have been heavily grazed during these years. Growth difference between grazed plants and ungrazed plants found to be virtually non-existent (0, 01 m) of the Treated stocks and 0, 07 m in the unTreated plants. Because of the growth differences are so small between grazed and no grazed plants, it seems like the treatment of deer-repellent are unnecessary. Unless you know in particularly that the area has a specific problem whit severe deer-grazing..

En retrospektiv studie av hovbensfrakturer på svenska varmblodiga travhästar :
Records of P III fractures from 235 horses, 71 of them were standardbreds, Treated at 3 major Swedish equine hospitals (Strömsholm, SLU and Mälaren hästklinik) between 1994 and 2004 were evaluated for information such as the patients age, sex, breed, type of fracture, affected leg, time and place of the injury, treatment and, if possible, result of treatment. For the standardbreds, result of treatment was also followed up through written correspondence with owners and by screening AB Trav och Galopp racing-results. Moreover, results of horses with type II and III-fractures Treated with rest and therapeutic shooing only were compared to horses in which lag screw fixation were added to achieve interfragmental compression.
Compared to the rest of the Swedish horse population, P III fractures were slightly more common among standardbred horses. The mean age of the affected standardbred was 5,8 years, compared to 7,9 years in the rest of the horse-population. Most horses injured themselves in the paddock.
