Diskussionen om den svenska vården är ständigt aktuell, särskilt den som rör de tio till tolv procent som utgör privat verksamhet. De ekonomiska drivkrafter som finns i ett företag med vinstintresse kan anses vara oförenliga med vård av god kvalitet. Det är viktigt att kunna balansera incitamenten kvalitet och vinstintresse för att undvika att patienter eller brukare blir missgynnade. Den privata vården och omsorgen tampas med dagens rådande organisationskultur som säger att det är fult att tjäna pengar på vård. Den offentliga sektorn i sin tur arbetar mot kvalitetsmål vare sig de är företagsekonomiskt effektiva eller ej, samtidigt som de brottas med svårigheter gällande krav på ökad ekonomisk effektivitet, åtstramningar och problem med att mäta graden av framgång baserat på prestationer.

Minskad tillgång på fossila material och ökade energibehov i värden skapar ett behov av att utveckla alternativa och miljömässigt hållbara lösningar. Biobränsle har därför växt till en av de viktigaste förnyelsebara energikällorna i målet mot ett koldioxidneutralt samhälle. Dock skapar det obearbetade biobränslet problem, på grund av den höga fuktkvoten, mellan 50-150 %. Som en följd finns ett torkbehov som måste lösas på ett miljö- och energieffektivt sätt. Idag står torkningen av biomaterial innan pelletering för 25 % av den totala kostnaden vid pelletstillverkning.Kostnaden för att torka biomaterialet gör det viktigt att effektivisera torkningen, samtidigt bidrar torkningen till utsläpp av miljöfarliga ämnen såsom terpener.

Bees are of importance for the global food security. In Europe 84% and in the World 35% of all the agricultural crops are dependent of animal pollination (Winfree et al., 2011:1). In agricultural production there is a huge lack of pollinators (Azien & Harden, 2009). A problem that is widely spread. In Sweden the problem becomes clear when looking at the statistics of the number of bee colonies during the last 20 years, where it has been a decline with 63 % (Statistiska Centralbyrån & Jordbruksverket, 2011).

Med utgångspunkt från Fordonsprogrammet, inriktning Transport, diskuteras i denna studie olika aspekter runt dokumentation - rörande elevers APU. Hur utförs dokumentationen idag, vad dokumenteras samt för vem är dokumentationen egentligen till för? Genom studien växer tre tydliga och bakomliggande aspekter eller dimensioner fram att ta hänsyn till vid val av dokumentationssystem. Sist i studien föreslås dessutom en dokumentationsmodell som innefattar alla tre dimensionerna: elevrättsligt, pedagogiskt och samhälleligt..

The purpose of this study was to illuminate dentists? work with guarantees. A case study was performed by personal interviews with dentists from both private and public sector. The result showed how dentists work with guarantees and how they motivate their guarantee obligations. We found that service guarantees? shaping and application should be simple and obvious.

There is an increase of financial integration, which can be seen in recent mergers of banks, financial institutions etc. in the European Union especially in the Nordic countries. However there are some weaknesses in providing consumers cross border services in the sector of banking, such as cross border bank account transfer of payments. The existing transaction costs do not encourage cross border services. Nevertheless a customer of a global or European bank can anticipate to be treated the same way in all of its branch offices inside the EU countries.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att berika den befintliga teorin om verksamhetsstyrning inom offentlig sektor med fokusering på överensstämmelsen mellan mål och resurser i den offentliga hierarkin. Undersökningen är av en fallstudiekaraktär där forskningsprocessen bestått av ett antal personintervjuer. Dessutom har vi samlat in en del sekundär data som var nödvändig för att slutföra studien. Vi har valt att utgå från teorier som behandlarverksamhetsstyrning med tillhörande komponenter Empirin består av insamlat material från intervjuer som ägde rum på Malmö Stadskontor, två stadsförvaltningar samt två grundskolor i respektive stadsförvaltning inom Malmö Stad. Våra slutsatser påpekar att det finns klara avvikelser mellan mål och resurser inom de studerade enheterna.

Syftet med studien var att ge en förståelse för undervisningens betydelse för elevens motivation i kärnämnet engelska vid fordonsprogrammet. För att besvara syftet genomfördes en kvalitativ semistrukturerad intervju med sex gymnasieelever vid fordonsprogrammets gren transport. Resultatet visade att eleverna upplevde ämnet i sig både tråkigt och svårt, speciellt grammatiken. Det eleverna upplevde som motiverande var delaktighet, när de fick vara med att bestämma om till exempel arbetsformer. Vidare ansåg eleverna att även den tekniska engelskan var mycket motiverande, något de gärna ville ha mer av..

The Swedish society has gone through a radical change. From being a monoculture society it has developed into a multicultural society representing a mixture of people from all around the world. This change has had a significant impact on both the Swedish school system and the teacher?s role. Purpose: Corporations today see a greater responsibility towards society regarding the environmental impact of their actions, using available transportation options that are more eco-friendly can reduce this impact significantly. Martinsen and Björklund (2012) identifies a set of gaps between supply and demand of green logistics services. This paper aims to address what it is that affects the demand for these alternative solutions and what could be done to increase the usage of them, thereby decreasing this gap.Design/methodology/approach: A quantitative study with six Logistics Service Providers (LSP) and 24 companies that purchase transportation services, all operating in Sweden. Data is collected through semi-structured telephone interviews with people responsible for the purchasing of transports as well as key account managers within the service providing companies.Findings: Just as the LSP?s interviewed in this paper thought, the main focus of the transport buying companies are the costs.
