Inom intensiwården transporteras ofta svårt sjuka patienter för diagnostik eller behandling. En transport av en sjuk patient innebär alltid en risk för att olika komplikationerkan uppstå. För att främja patientsäkerheten är målet att inte utsätta patienten för risker vilka kanforebyggas bl.a. genom att risker blir kända, analyseras och åtgärdas.  Grunden för säkerhetsarbete är god kännedom om verksamhetens risker.Syftet med studien är att ta reda på vad intensiwårdssjuksköterskor uppfattar som risker vid patienttransporter,samt vad de har for önskemål fÌir optimal patienttransport ur ett patientsäkerhetsperspektiv. En enkät arbetades fram och delades ut på två intensiwårdsavdelningar.

I dagsläget finns en stor mängd byggnader i Sverige där fasaden består av puts direkt anliggande mot antingen lättbetong eller tegel. Dessa fasader kan skapa problem för brukaren p.g.a. fukttransport via putsen direkt in i konstruktionen. Problemen som kan uppstå som följd av dessa konstruktioner är inte bara estetiska utan kan även påverka inomhusmiljön. Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka om det gick att med ny teknik visa de resultat som framkommit från erfarenheter från praktiskt arbete samt undersöka hur en renovering påverkar de fasader som består av puts direkt mot lättbetong eller tegel.

External shopping malls in the context of urban sprawl have, according too much of the previous research, had a negative connotation when it comes to urban planning and a sustainable society. In recent years, some of this research on the issue has changed course towards that it might be some positive opportunities and elements in this development, given that it follows certain patterns. This latter development is what we have chosen to look deeper into in our study, Sustainable urban sprawl.The shopping mall Allum in Partille center has been the subject of this case study, to explore how people's shopping habits and travels in connection with these purchases has been affected by the establishment of an external shopping mall from a sustainability perspective.The method we used was a questionnaire distributed at workplaces in Partille. The collected data were then analyzed by using some of the dominant urban planning theories, for thus underpin our analysis. We have supplemented the study with a collection of information on existing and planned shopping centers in Gothenburg region.Our study shows that external shopping centers located in already developed areas, with an existing social structure, can help to create a more compact city with fewer and shorter shopping trips, and more sustainable transport choices when purchasing goods and services..

As a part of Göteborg Energi?s work towards a smarter electric grid, the company has chosen to investigate the possibilities of automation in their middle voltage grid. In Europe, there are example cases where these technologies already are installed which many articles on the CIRED conference 2011 proved. Netcontrol Oy in Finland has, together with Tekla, created an automated SCADA system that Vattenfall in Finland today uses. The grid mainly consists of 10 kV open loop fed city grid and this automation is mainly designed for this type of grid.

Obemannade flygfarkoster, så kallade UAV, har länge används för militära ändamål. Dessa ändamål har främst varit underrättelseinhämtning i form av spaning för att ge markförband bättre beslutsunderlag. De används idag i konflikter som den i Afghanistan där de relativt obehindrade kan operera i luften utan att motståndaren kan påverka dem.Anledningen till denna frihet beror på den kontroll av luftrummet som uppnåtts genom så kallade luftförsvarsoperationer. Dessa operationer syftar till att skapa den kontroll av ett luftrum som en part vill ha eller anses sig behöva för att kunna genomföra mark- eller sjöoperationer. Dessa är indelade i olika uppdragstyper som ställer olika krav på flygplattformen beroende på uppdrag, det kan till exempel vara attack- eller jaktuppdrag.

Den mest använda definitionen av begreppet hålbar utveckling lyder: ?En hållbar utveckling är en utveckling som tillfredsställer dagens behov utan att äventyra kommande generationers möjligheter att tillfredsställa sina behov?. Definitionen kommer från rapporten ?Vår gemensamma framtid? från 1987. Hållbar utveckling omfattar ekonomiska, ekologiska och sociala aspekter samt samspelet och balansen mellan dem.

Our population are ageing. As this happens more people will be in need of long term care facilities. We now know that some elderly people with certain background factors are more likely to be injured or sick. One of the four biggest background factors is fall propensity. Most of the reported falls come from long term care facilities, approximately 60 % of the care takers in long term care facilities fall one time or more each year.

Agricultural land could be polluted by radioactive substances after a fallout. We would then need information about the level of contamination to decide whether the crops could be utilized as food under these circumstances. In an experiment carried out during the 1990ies the retention of 134Cs in potato haulm and the transfer to the tubers were studied. The experiment was carried out during three consecutive years. The plants were cultivated in pots under field conditions and the artificial deposition was sprayed directly onto the potato haulm at different times during the growing season.

An increasing proportion ofthe population is drawn to the metropolitan areas, which creates problems for the smallermunicipalities and towns when their population declines. At the same time, our whole societyis faced with a great challenge: we need to redirect towards a sustainable development, wherethe environmental issues are discussed and dealt with to secure that all present and futuregenerations are given equal opportunities to live a good life.The aim of this study is to, focusing mainly on the environmental dimension of thesustainability concept, examine the attractivity of housing with sustainability claims. Toanswer this, three research questions were used:? Was the migration motive to reduce their environmental impact a part of the decision tomove, among migrants who had moved to housing with sustainability claims?? If the motive was a part of the decision, how much impact did it have compared to othermigration motives?? Which factors in housing aiming at sustainability are considered important by peopleliving in housing with sustainability claims?The research questions have been answered using quantitative data, gained in the form of selfadministeredquestionnaires which were distributed in four different residential areas withsustainability claims in the county of Västra Götaland, Sweden.

This thesis has been conducted at Volvo Bussar ABunder a period of ten weeks. Within the organizationVolvo, the work is conducted with leaders and teamson every level; from production to top management.They have three tasks, besides executing their dailywork, they are expected to actively work on improvingtheir individual work as well as themselves as persons.The two latter are future value adding activities for theorganization. When doing so, however, it has beennoticed that they often lose the grasp of their dailywork. The question that consequently arises is whythis happens. Is it because of lack of time or it isbecause the co-workers do not have the competenceand simply do not know how they are to execute thethree tasks? Or, is it because the motivation to executethe three tasks is not enough? With this in regard, thestatement of issues for this bachelor thesis were thefollowing: how can the conditions for leaders and theteam be improved, in order for them to execute thesethree tasks.To find out why the execution of these threeassigments did not always succeed, the decision wastaken to conduct a survey and interview study in reallife and at the plants.

Partnering is a collaboration method where the contractor and the client work together, based on a mutual trust towards each other and with a common goal for the project. The method originates from the United States where it was early adapted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It later spread internationally where the United Kingdom and Denmark were early in Europe to see the potential with partnering, to help aid with the issues they were having where construction projects kept running late, going over budget and lacked in quality. By using partnering you can achieve a shorter building time, improved work relationships and enhanced efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Evenemang är för många nationer och orter idag ett prioriterat område. I Sverige anses evenemang vara ett viktigt utvecklingsområde och en möjlig tillväxtgenerator för turismnäringen. Hur evenemang påverkar lokalsamhället och vilka effekter de får för det lokala näringslivet på en arrangörsort är områden där det behövs mer kunskap. Detta för att skapa rimliga förväntningar på evenemangets effekter och för att veta vilken nytta ett evenemang egentligen har för lokala företag. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka effekter av evenemang för lokala företag.
