The subject for this thesis is to analyze the Swedish political the Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna) through the use of history theories. The purpose is to examine the following two questions:1. what types of history consciousness is present in the source material2. the use of history (historiebruk) shown in the source materialThe source material has consisted two official party publications, Sverigedemokraternas principprogram from 2005 and 2011.The main theoretical frameworks for the analysis has consisted of the typology for use of history as presented by professor Klas-Göran Karlsson together with selected theories connected to history consciousness, not the least the model presented by Bernard Eric Jensen.The result of the analysis shows frequent examples where the use of history and history consciousness is present in the rhetoric used in the source material. Uppsatsen ger en överblick av vad synsättet Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) innebär. Enutvärderingsmodell beskriver de analyserade verktygens duglighet gällande ett antal funktionellaoch icke-funktionella krav. Modellen jämför kommersiella verktyg och uppsättningar med enmotsvarande uppsättning av Open Source verktyg. De huvudsakliga problemen idag är att de somnyttjar ALM-synsättet ofta blir begränsade till en kommersiell plattform, vilket får till följd att deinte kan bearbeta sådan data som inte stöds i plattformen. Ett annat stort problem är verktygenskostnad.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur riktlinjer inom traditionella open source-projekt beskriver att användare utan programmeringskunskaper, icke-utvecklare, kan delta i utvecklingsprocessen. Undersökningen har gjorts i form av en fallstudie av projektet Freeplane, ett projekt som har för avsikt att göra alla röster hörda i utvecklingsprocessen samt öka användbarheten hos den mjukvara projektet utvecklar. Den metod som valts är kvalitativ textanalys av projektets wiki.Studien kommer fram till att projektet har för avsikt att göra icke-utvecklarna delaktiga i utvecklingsprocessen och att öka användbarheten i projektets mjukvara, men att det i projektet finns ett utvecklarperspektiv där utvecklaren ges större utrymme i utvecklingsprocessen. Inom traditionell open source-utveckling har utvecklaren ofta varit central och de mjukvaror som utvecklats påbörjats som lösningar av utvecklarnas egna problem. This study has examined how teachers in Swedish upper secondary schools work to foster a critical perspective through the education in the subject of Swedish. The study is based on qualitative interviews conducted with three teachers, who have given their views on the role of source criticism and critical analysis of literature in the subject of Swedish. Furthermore, they have described how they incorporate these views into their own teaching.The study has shown that the teachers find that source criticism and literary analysis are interconnected, since both depend on a general critical approach, which they both help foster. The main question the study examined was how Swedish education could help foster a critical perspective. The interviewed teachers' ways of working point out a way: teacher C has integrated source criticism and referencing into most of their education, which makes them central to the education in Swedish.

The development in photogrammetry has created possibilities for new methods in aerial images acquisition. Remotely-controlled imaging from an unmanned helium zeppelin is a new and relatively unexplored acquisition. The purpose with this degree project is to evaluate the accuracy of this kind of low-height photographing system, a task given from the consultant company WSP, in Sweden. Landbadet in Uddevalla municipality was chosen as a test field for the zeppelin. Seventeen images distributed over three strips were acquired from the flying height of 80 m.

In this study I compare the use of reporting verbs in direct speech in Swedish and Polish literary prose. The aim is to examine how differences in usage are reflected in translations to and from Swedish and to what extent the translator adapts the text to the target language and its literary conventions.I have compared the material on two levels: source text versus source text in Polish and Swedish respectively, to see what kind of speech verbs are most commonly used, and source text versus target text, to study the strategies the translators have used and to what extent reporting verbs are altered or not.I have also studied quotation verb + adverbial phrase or prepositional phrase, to investigate if they are more frequent in the two target texts or adapted to the literary concentions of the target language. .

This thesis is comprised of an annotated translation of an English IT-text into Swedish. The source text is the installation manual for the software SDL Trados Studio 2014 and the thesis also contains a text analysis of the source text. The goal of the translation has been to use norms in the target culture and thus move the translation toward acceptability. The thesis therefore discusses norms based on Toury's (1995) framework.The thesis also contains an empirical study of the translation of three different IT-texts. This is a study about source criticism in Swedish health magazines in 2014 which is based on Torsten Thuréns positivist philosophy of science and formulations about source criticism. The thesis was based on the hypothesis that the Swedish health magazines are inadequate in their source-critical approach. To prove or disprove the hypothesis a quantitative content analysis of one hundred articles was made. The quantitative content analysis was based on twelve variables and the results showed that the hypothesis to some extent was true. The magazines reported their sources in most cases, but the majority of the sources consisted of various authorities such as doctors, psychologists, and personal trainers.

This is a study that will focus on the possibility to learn information about a town and its inhabitants of the 18th century by analyzing individual titles in the church records. The records that are used in this study are marriage registration administrated by the local church of the town of Uddevalla. The records are very detailed and each individual registered have a title, such as ?tradesman? or ?maiden?. Since the source are a registration of all the weddings that took place during the period of 1700 to 1749, the source gives very broad and valid information about the inhabitants of the town.

The aim with the study is to get an understanding of why pupils read literature in upper secondary school from four Swedish teachers´ thoughts and attitudes towards fiction in upper secondary school. Some of the theoretical starting points that lay as a foundation to the study are Lpf 94, the curriculum for Swedish and different literature oriented researchers as Lars-Göran Malmgren´s subject construction, Louise M. Rosenblatt´s transaction theory, Jan Nilsson´s view on fiction as a source of pleasure and a source of knowledge and Gunilla Molloy´s dialectal questions. To reach the aim in question qualitative interviews with four Swedish teachers in upper secondary school were carried through. The result shows that the teachers see the literature?s part in school as meaningful and claims that it deserves to have an even higher value in all subjects, not only in the subject Swedish.

Network RTK is a real-time technique for accurate positioning with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). The technology means the use of correction data from a network of GNSS receivers with known positions (reference stations) to reduce the uncertainty in position for the user´s GNSS receiver (rover). However, this requires that the correction data can be transferred seamlessly to the user in real time. Commonly the corrections are transferred via mobile phones. The Swedish National Land Survey operates a nationwide Network RTK service, where users can receive correction data via GSM or mobile Internet (GPRS).
