Byggbranschen ställs inför stora prövningar med högt satta mål inom klimat- och energipolitiken och en omfattande påverkan på naturmiljön till följd av dess stora material- och energiomsättning. Demonstrationsprojekt i byggbranschen anses vara ett viktigt steg i utvecklingen av ny byggteknik, men samtidigt finns det ett gap mellan goda resultat som demonstrationsprojekten kan uppvisa och det traditionella arbetssättet (Femenías, 2004) . Samtidigt som det finns ett behov av satsningar på miljöanpassad nyproduktion, finns det också ett stort behov av god förvaltning av våra befintliga byggnader. Bebyggelsen som helhet förnyas väldigt långsamt; drygt 90 procent av de hus som finns år 2020 är redan byggda (Miljövårdsberedningen, 2004). Byggnaders driftsskede har en betydande del i bygg- och fastighetssektorns miljöpåverkan (Byggsektorns kretsloppsråd, 2001), vilket ställer höga krav på fastighetsbolag och fastighetsförvaltare.Syftet med denna rapport är att belysa fastighetsförvaltarens roll i arbetet mot en hållbar utveckling, men också den eventuella problematik som råder med förvaltning av fastigheter som byggs som miljöprojekt.

Many Traffic incidents are due to the driver?s lack of attention, resulting in dangerous lane departures, either sliding off theroad or into the oppose lane. These kinds of incidents often have serious outcomes, which has led to much effort being concentrated on preventing or lessening the damages when the incident is already a fact, for example by installing safety belts and air bags. These measures may be considered to be acts of so-called passive safety. Active safety on the other hand, means that the safety systems intervene before the incidents have occurred.

EU direktiv 2005/0182 röstades igenom i början av år 2006. All trafik-data kring Internet- och telekommunikation ska lagras mellan sex må-nader och ett år. Direktivet kommer innebära gemensamma regler för EU:s medlemsstater. Syftet med direktivet är att data ska lagras för till-gänglig vid utredning, avslöjande och åtal av grov organiserad brottslig-het och terrorism.Studien innehåller tre problemområden som behandlar andra gällande direktiv och konventioner, personlig integritet och etik. Först undersöks det nya direktivet i relation till European Convention on human rights (ECHR) Vidare förs diskussioner kring lagring av trafikdata och lokali-seringsdata i förhållande till personlig integritet.

The increasing road Traffic in Sweden will require investments in the infrastructure that the tax withdrawal of today will not allow according to a new government report, SOU 2006:33. An existing willingness to pay for those investments has therefore become an alternative to increases in taxation to be able to cover the costs. A proposal to let the willingness to pay, alternatively increases in taxation that act proportional, decide how a cost is distributed can be said to be related, but not fully correspond, with different theories of justice described by Robert Nozick and John Rawls. It can therefore be interesting to see how the two different theories of justice are edified and how they distribute a joint cost. The aim of the first part of the thesis is to present and criticize Rawls' and Nozick's theories of justice in a common formulated economic model.

This work has been done to develop a plan for a future dairy barn at theGästgivaregården and to show the space needed for cows and replacement heifers. Itwould also show the storage that will be needed. The design was largely based on resultsfrom studies on six different farms, but also the facts that are taken from research papersand articles in order to compare theory with practice. Because some farms only whereinterviewed by phone I have used a query form to obtain comparable resultes.The aim is to build a new barn with Automatic milking. I've drawn a milking stable for120 milking cow and replacement heifers with the capability to house up to 140 milkingcows if the farm would expand in the future.Calculations of feed amounts and space requirements have been made to see how manyhectares are needed to supply the cows and replacement heifers with feed and to knowabout what size of storage space is required.The investigations made in this writing are to answer questions about the AMS-unit`sposition and how to best maintain a good health status in the herd.

The objective of this thesis was to develop a method for the planning of road upgrading at Holmen Skog, a Swedish forest company. A critical issue for creating such plans is to identify roads that are suitable to upgrade to a standard that can handle heavy Traffic during spring thaw, since spring thaw is a bottle neck for transporting timber. The method was tested in a case study at a district. The work consisted of two parts. The first was to retrieve and prepare geographical data for the roads.

Med fler än en miljon omkomna i trafikolyckor världen över varje år är trafiksäkerhet ett ständigt aktuellt område. Studier på deprimerade patienter har visat att negativ sinnesstämning medför försämrad körförmåga. Dessa effekter är i hög grad outforskade och det är därför viktigt att undersöka om de förekommer även vid en mildare grad av nedstämdhet, så kallad dysfori, vilket i så fall skulle innebära att negativ sinnesstämning i likhet med trötthet och alkoholpåverkan utgör en allvarlig trafikfara. För att bättre förstå hur sinnesstämning påverkar körförmåga är det dock också relevant att undersöka om dysfori kan bidra till riskkompensation, det fenomen som inträffar när människor kompenserar för säkerhetsförändringar genom ett förändrat riskbeteende. I denna uppsats beskrivs en del av en körsimulatorstudie kring dysfori och bilkörning, där syftet var att undersöka om dysfori kan vara en orsak till riskkompensation.

Production development with focus on continual improvements constitutes an important part of the daily work within a lot of organizations today.The purpose of this study is to contribute to a part of the development process that Volvo Penta factory in Vara has in mind. A description of the current situation was compiled by mapping the internal runnings and material flow throughout the factory. A new suggestion for a layout and a comparison with the current situation will assist with creating a factual basis for the development of a new goods reception.A study was made where the volumes and the quantity of the daily arrival goods were settled.

Building with wood has advantages, it is easy to process, but also disadvantages, as it is sensitive to moisture.Finland has long made use of the thermal blocks to build villas. It is a type of bricks that are a bit like a sandwich element, with a core of EPS and concrete on both sides of the core material. The concrete is hollow, so that after the walls has been bricked up you pour concrete into the hollow bricks.The issue of this report is to find out if concrete can be an alternative to wood as framework material in villas.

The large number of surrendered and feral cats is a big animal welfare problem all over the world. Populations of feral cats arise through a large number of unwanted cats which can lead to surrender of these, through cats allowed to roam free outside which can lead to the owner losing these and through the reproduction that occurs amongst these surrendered or lost cats. One aim of this study is to give an account of this problem. It is however difficult to draw general conclusions about these populations of cats since studies all over the world has been carried out on different types of populations, during different conditions and different periods of time. The welfare of many of these cats is presumably low because they are exposed to risks as disease, starvation, climate, Traffic, other animals and humans.

I dagens samhälle är runt två miljoner svenskar störda av trafikbuller, samtidigt som bilismen och vägtransporterna ökar. För att få en säkrare trafikmiljö med ett jämnare körsätt är det populärt att bygga om vanliga korsningar till cirkulationsplatser.Denna rapport fokuserar på vad som händer med bullernivåerna då trafiken passerar en cirkulationsplats. Undersökningarna har genomförts genom att beräknade bullernivåer jämförts med uppmätta värden från olika cirkulationsplatser. Arbetet inleds med en litteraturstudie om ljud- och bullerfrågor.Bullermätningar utfördes vid totalt åtta olika cirkulationsplatser, där både ekvivalentnivåer och maxvärden samlades in. Därefter beräknades medelvärden av dessa.

Genom ett bra välkomnande kan man skapa goda förutsättningar till att folk får en god inställning för den plats man kommit till. I dagens samhälle är bilen ett av de vanligaste sätten att ta sig fram på och det är också med bilen som många anländer till nya platser.

Effektbelysning i trafikmiljö är ett nytt angreppssätt i strävan mot Nollvisionen, som är utgångspunkten för trafiksäkerhetsarbetet i Sverige. Upp emot 70 procent av de statliga belysningsanläggningarna har nått sin tekniska livslängd samtidigt som kraven på kombinationen av funktion, estetik och kvalitet har ökat i moderna belysningsanläggningar. Tidigare forskning beskriver ett samband mellan visuella kvaliteter och trafiksäkerhet och den här uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur gestaltning med effektbelysning i trafikmiljö kan öka trafiksäkerheten. Uppsatsen avgränsas till belysningsanläggningar i storskaliga trafikmiljöer och behandlar exempel på trafikplatser och vägbroar i Sverige och Danmark. För att få en bild av hur effektbelysningen gestaltats i dessa trafikmiljöer presenteras och undersöks befintliga belysningsanläggningar genom samtal med de involverade ljusdesignerna.
