Med detta arbetet vill jag undersöka argumenten för och emot skolavslutning i kyrkan. Med hjälp av policydokument, rektorer, praxis och debattsidor lyfts argument fram och diskuteras. Svenska skolan och Svenska kyrkan har i många år haft starka band till varandra och många skolor har skolavslutning i kyrkan. I undersökningen framkom det att de som förespråkar skolavslutning i kyrkan menar att det är något mysigt, högtidligt och en tradition vi haft i många år. De som talar emot menar att man genom att ha skolavslutning i kyrkan utestänger elever från en dag som bör vara en gemensam högtidsdag.

Through the collection and analysis of negotiations surrounding the gay magazine Destroyer, the intention of this paper is to identify norms of sexuality within a contemporary sex-radical discourse. These negotiations are collected from interviews with individuals whom, at the time of the inter-view, consider themselves or their politics sex-radical. Abstract: In this following thesis I enquire the teaching of reincarnation within the New Testament. More specifically I examine how the author Paramahansa Yogananda?s interprets the teaching of reincarnation and his analysis of the prologue to the Gospel according to John. The idea of reincarnation is not a teaching commonly associated with Christian teachings and it has never been advocated within Christian orthodoxy. However, the idea of reincarnation has recurringly been advocated by Christians.

Uppsatsen handlar om hur fyra judiska personer upplever antisemitism i Sverige. De har svarat på frågor som rör två teman, antisemitism och Israelkritik/antisionism.Informanterna har inte personligen utsatts för antisemitism i stor utsträckning, däremot upplever de att antisemitismen finns mer utbrett på andra platser i Sverige.Israelkritik upplever de enbart som antisemitism när den är obalanserad och när media anklagar judar kollektivt för vad som sker i Israel/Palestina. Sionism ser de dock ingen anledning till att kritisera eftersom den handlar om ett judisk självbestämmande. Ett par av informanterna anser att sionism är så starkt förknippat med judisk tradition att antisionism per automatik blir judefientlig..

The study's aim is to create an understanding for the question why Sweden in 1921chose to create its own classification system for public libraries instead of adapting e.g.the Dewey-system which - at this time - was internationally we11 spread. It examines thesocial changes which proceeded the creation of the Swedish Library Association (SLA)in 1915 and discusses in depth the work of the committee appointed by SLA to createthe classification system. Special interest is also given to the relation between SLACSand the Dewey-system.The study shows that the main influence on the codttee's work was the formerSwedish tradition of classification practice. The Dewey-system was seen as inappropriateto adapt in the Swedish libraries because of the vast changes that wouldhave to be done, and the fact that the decimal notation was practically unused in anylibraries in Sweden.From a methodological point of view, the study tries to apply a critical hermeneuticalapproach as developed by Paul Ricoeur.The study contains an extended English summary..

Människors transportvanor skapar idag tillsammans med andra faktorer ohållbara transportsystem. Jordens befolkning använder färdmedel som förbrukar icke förnybar energi i allt större utsträckning, vilket skapar transportsystem som inte är hållbara. Dessa faktorer medför en stor miljöpåverkan på vår jord och om vi fortsätter på samma sätt som de senaste 60 åren belastas jordens kretslopp allt mer, för att slutligen upphöra att fungera.Infrastrukturen idag motsvarar de behov och krav människor har på sin transportmiljö och dessa vanor bygger till stor del på vår historiska tradition av transport. Denna historiska tradition motsvarar inte ett långsiktigt tänkande. De beteenden och levnadsvanor vi har idag påverkar kommande generationers livsmiljö, vilken kommer att äventyras om vi fortsätter på samma sätt.

  Jag minns när man som liten var på besök hos mormors föräldrar i deras lägenhet i Sundbyberg. I vardagsrummet eller salongen hade de en figurin i glaskupa, där satt jag alltid och stirrade, försvann in i fantasins värld, iakttog scenariot med musicerande män i peruk och den sirliga färgrika vegetationen. Figuriner avbildar oftast människor eller djur, noggrant utarbetade, i en idealisk värld. Ett fryst ögonblick där allt är i harmoni, stråkarna ljuder och rusdrycken flödar i salongen, bönderna drar sina kärror och skördar glatt, människor och djur lever i symbios med varandra och naturen. En skönmålning som både innehåller och saknar problematik men är samtidigt en intressant tradition där jag kan frossa i referenser och uttryck, kitschiga motiv och inkonsekventa koncept. .

The hillforts of Bohusl?n are numerous, yet few have been studied, leaving gaps in our understanding of their dating, morphology, and connections to nearby prehistoric sites. With the help of settlement archaeology, the aim of this study has been to analyse three hillforts on Hisingen and answer these questions. This was done by observing the location and morphology of the hillforts and by analysing the age and functions of nearby prehistoric sites within a kilometer of the hillforts. The results indicate that Bj?rlanda 22:1 and Torslanda 56:1 were likely ritualistic enclosures, while Torslanda 15:1 had defensive functions.

On the contrary, citizens of the society who do not use communication technologies to some extent might feel excluded from the information society. As elderly citizens are already in a vulnerable position for the digital divide, communication technology becomes an important tool for interacting with friends and family. The social situation of elderly, 60 years of age and older, is a topic of current interest since they are the fastest growing age group in the world today. Further, social interaction becomes more important among elderly since it has a positive effect on well- being.

Denna uppsats jämför och analyserar de båda sexualupplysningsfilmerna "Ur kärlekens språk" (Torgny Wickman, 1969) och "Kärlekens språk 2000" (Anders Lennberg 2004). Uppsatsens syfte är att utreda vilka olika sätt som de båda filmerna tilltalar sin publik på och vad dessa respektive tilltal får för konsekvenser för den syn på sexualitet som man vill förmedla. Metaphors and their use as a rethorical vehicle are examined. Two texts, one in Chinese and one in Swedish, are compared and analyzed to determine the extent to which the associations they create successfully capture the author's intent. Seecondarily, a shift from the assumptions that rhetorical analyses often assume (read: antiquity and Aristotles) to a more abstract internal human platform is suggested. Neurological and cognitive research is cited in support of this shift.The essay examines the question: How can metaphoric contribute to conveying the communicator's intention? By comparing metaphorics used by an historical Chinese rhetor with those used by a contemporary Swedish rhetor.

This thesis examines the boundary-work between the discipline of psychology on one side and religion and spirituality on the other. In Sweden, a country viewed as one of the most secular in the world and which has a rising interest in the neo-spiritual, this boundary-work is under-researched within the history of ideas. The research question for this thesis concerns how the contemporary dominant discourses in Psykologtidningen between 2010-2024 relate to the historical boundary-work that has taken place within the discipline. In this study the boundary-work will be examined through a combination of digital text analysis and discourse analysis. The analysis shows that terms such as mindfulness and soul have gone through a decoupling process: meaning that the terms are secularized and modernized to fit within the truth-narrative and the leading discourse of psychology. This discourse falls under a larger regime of truth where secular thought is seen as the main worldview which is compatible with the scientific ideal.

This is a thesis presents a differential gear which is found in a tracked vehicle called BvS10. The tracked vehicle is manufactured by BAE Systems Hägglunds AB in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The differential gear has a bolted house. The differential meets the requirement specifications, but the problem is that the bolts are sheared off because of the extreme torque that the differential is exposed to resist.Previous report on the differential show pictures of bolts which have been sheared off at the threads. This report is also includes three lists that explain seven different proposals which some are approved and some are not, and the report also presents the force, tensile, and shear stress.In a bolted connection there is both axial tension stress and radial shear stress, which can lead to wear out and broken bolts.
