This is a final thesis in landscape planning, at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The study examines the current phenomenon of amenity migration and the international discourse applicability of the a "Countryside dream" in a small neighborhood in Käglinge, part of the transit-oriented community Oxie just outside of Malmö in the southern part of Sweden. The critical starting point of the study is the how many planners idealize the dense city with its positive proximity qualities. However, since the late 1900s, many people have instead started to idealize living in more rural or naturally appealing landscapes, often just outside a bigger city, with good transit possibilities (both by car and bus as well as by train). The phenomenon of amenity migration ? the migration to a new, more appealing everyday environment considered to have more amenities, is very relevant today since many smaller communities are becoming more transit-oriented, allowing the inmigrants to work in some bigger, dense town while living in a small-scale, less dense semi-rural community. More dense transit-oriented communities are however also an ideal to planners in Sweden, but to what extent can Käglinge in Oxie ? a neither rural nor urban community - fulfill a possible countryside dream, and what role does the train station have in the in-migrants everyday life? The study has a theoretical starting point in literature regarding amenity migration, countryside ideals, representations of the countryside and the possible migrants themselves, giving a broad perspective on these related issues. The case study of Käglinge in Oxie is then presented, including interviews with Käglinges in-migrants.

Hur tilliten till de abstrakta systemens experter påverkades vid katastrofen. Hur det senmoderna samhället och globaliseringens allt större rörlighet ställer nya krav på svenska myndigheters insatser utomlands.Bakgrund: Tsunamikatastrofen i Sydostasien annandag jul är den enskilda händelse som har krävt flest svenskars liv i modern tid. Det är mycket ovanligt att ett samhälle har full beredskap för en händelse av den här storleken. Katastrofen var fullbordad oerhört fort, långt innan någon blivit förvarnad.

This is a 20 credit Master thesis within the landscape architecture education at the Institute for Landscape Planning at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences at Alnarp. Norränga is situated on the fringe of the city of Lund, east of the existing district of Linero.The city planning office of Lund municipality has come up with a ?in-depth comprehensive plan? for the exploatation of the eastern area of Lund. The plan concerns an area of 1035 square kilometre which contains at least 1500 nya buildings, two schools, primaryschools, stores and bus station for local bus traffic and the new bus line - Lundalänken. The townplan is inspired from the historical Square block city with defined street system. The municipality has visions of what the green areas should consist of.

Sammanfattning Stadens offentliga rum är en viktig arena för stadslivet. Detta påstående har varit utgångspunkten för att undersöka de fysiska förutsättningarna i stadsrummet och vad de har för betydelse för mötet mellan människor. Människor ska ha möjlighet att mötas i det offentliga rummet, men det behövs en anledning för att vistas där. Det kan vara så enkelt som att titta på andra människor, men då måste människor välja att uppehålla sig just på den platsen. I examensarbetet utpekas ett antal element i den fysiska miljön som underlättar eller försvårar möjligheten till att vistas i den offentliga miljön. En avgränsad del av norrcity i Örebro har fungerat som studieområde, bestående av Järntorget, Henry Allards park och del av Storgatan. Norrcity besitter ett av Örebros ?finrum? med historiska miljöer så som Henry Allards park med utsikt över Örebro Slott och omgivningar. Storgatan på norrcity fungerade som Örebros shoppinggata nummer ett under första delen av 1900-talet.

I min jämförelse mellan forskarna Emil Herlenius och Cecilia Wejryd har jag undersökt i huvudsak tre delar, Erik Jansson som ledare, syndfrihetsläran samt Janssons relation till erikjansarna, och då i synnerhet till de kvinnliga anhängarna. Det som skiljer sig väsentligt mellan de två forskarna är deras syn på vilka anhängarna var. Wejryds hushållsdimension ger en helt ny insikt och förståelse för Janssons relationer, i huvudsak till de kvinnliga anhängarna. I Janssons budskap och förkunnelse och då i huvudsak syndfrihetsläran som jag studerat skiljer sig inte forskarna åt, åtminstone inte vad gäller innehållet i läran.Däremot ser forskarna olika på hur och när dessa idéer växte fram hos Jansson. Herlenius menar att Jansson i tidiga år ifrågasatte och tog avstånd ifrån uppbyggelselitteraturen och att hans egen kristendomstolkning med syndfrihetsläran var utvecklad redan före den första Hälsingeresan i januari 1843.

It is concentrated on the certification process in small houses that the Swedish institute of standard, SIS, has presented. We have worked together with the company Faluhus witch is a Swedish producer of small family houses.Faluhus is located in the town of Borlänge, Dalarna and has produced family houses since the 1950:s. They have a great heritage born in the old Swedish mining culture, with great wooden mansions and country homes.

To perform a historical record of Beijers Park's development to date is about securing the tracks back in time. The historical record about the park tells not only the history of the park but the city, district, local residents and art of gardening. As the historical story is documented the necessary base for establishment of any care plans in the future and the base for cultural and historical value the park is made. Beijers park can in such work be treated alone or as part of the context of parks that were built during the same era in Malmö's history.Beijers park origin from the era of the late 1800s, when the entire green structure in Malmö changed. The park area today covers 12 hectares and is located in the district Kirseberg.

Stormwater in urban areas has been treated as a problem for a long time. The large proportion of impermeable surfaces inhibits the water from infiltrating in the ground to the same extent that it does in nature. This causes intensive surface flow during rain, which in turn causes inconveniences such as decreased accessability, floods and increased risk of desease spreading. Drainage through pipes is the traditional and usually functional metod for storm water disposal. That is as long as water flows are moderate. But precipitation varies naturally in amount and intensity and additional impermeable surfaces make some pipes insufficient for heavy or lasting precipitation.

This thesis is a study of residential environments and a design concept for a proposed housing area in Tierp. The industrial era created a need for the central planning of housing. The confined environments that arised in cities during the 19th century, together with modernistic and democratic ideas, led to regulations in planning and housing. Though the overall goal has been the same: to create a good standard in living, the ideas of how to achieve that have varied. The starting point for following generations has been to attend to the insufficiencies of the earlier planning periods.

Studiens syfte var att belysa vuxenstuderandes upplevelser av att göra en lärstilsanalys samt beskriva dess betydelse för lärandet. Vår avsikt var också att fokusera på deras åsikter om den information de fått innan analysen och det uppföljande samtalet med läraren. Vi ville även belysa de vuxenstuderandes tankar kring användbarheten av att göra lärstilsanalyser. Kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med sju vuxenstuderande på omvårdnadsprogrammet, förlagt till en mindre ort i södra Sverige. Det framkom att de vuxenstuderandes upplevelser av att göra en lärstilsanalys i huvudsak var positiva, trots att flertalet inte hade förändrat sitt sätt att lära i någon större utsträckning.

Slutligen undersöker studien om deanser att identitetsskapande genom sociala medier har någon koppling till deras välbefinnande. Studien behandlar olika infallsvinklar där påverkansfaktorer isamhället, generella teorier kring socialt umgänge utanför och i sociala medier och hur det är att vara ung kvinna idag från ett feministiskt perspektiv i samband med kärnbegreppen för studien: Sociala medier, identitetsskapande och välbefinnande.Sociala medier klassas i denna uppsats utefter Nordicoms definition där sociala nätverk, communities, chattgrupper/diskussionsforum och bloggar ingår. En av de grundläggande teorier som har använts som utgångspunkt för identitetsbegreppet är Eriksons teori om identitet som en process där både tillhörighet och differentiering till andra människor är viktigt.
