Volontärturism : -En studie om volontärers engagemang i Kenya
Denna uppsats uppmärksammar fenomenet volontärturism som anses vara mer utav en välgörande form av resa, där volontärer anmäler sig frivilligt att arbeta ideellt med olika projekt runt om i världen, en turismform som är ömsesidigt fördelaktig för båda parter. Volontärer reser själva eller med en organisation till olika länder för att erbjuda sin tid och hjälp i olika projekt, bland annat för att få erfarenhet och en upplevelse i retur.Syftet med denna studie är att begreppsliggöra vad volontärturism är och dess innebörd, samt undersöka hur en volontärturists vardag ser ut, innefattande deras arbetsuppgifter, förpliktelser och upplevelser i Kenya. Sedermera undersöker vi även volontärturisternas förväntningar kontra den faktiska upplevelsen på deras resa till värdnationen. För att få svar på vårt syfte och frågeställningar har vi genomfört intervjuer med åtta volontärer, varav två skedde på plats i Nairobi, Kenya, samt sex intervjuer per mail. Vidare genomfördes intervjuer med två olika volontärorganisationer, nationella samt internationella. Organisationerna som intervjuades var ICYE och PeaceWorks.
Nätverkssamverkan vid krisberedskap : hur samverkan mellan kommuner kan utvecklas inom krisberedskap
Med anledning av att flera kriser av extraordinära slag har inträffat i fredstid har förmågan att hantera dessa fått stor uppmärksamhet. Ett exempel är stormen Gudrun som lamslog delar av Sverige i januari 2005. För att kunna hantera sådana kriser behövs en fungerande beredskap och här har kommunerna en viktig roll. Om kommunerna har en väl utvecklad krisberedskap kan samhället bättre klara av en kris. Genom utvärderingar och erfarenheter från kriser har det visat sig att samverkan mellan kommuner är av stor betydelse för en god krisberedskap.
The impacts on Indian farmers when converting to organic cotton production : an organisation theory perspective

In Sweden the voluntary socialwork is a complement to the public authorities. The voluntary organisations has become more important considered helping people in different situations of need.The aim of this study has been to examine the voluntary organisations meaning for individuals.The aim was reached through interviews by five guests from different organisations. We have also interviewed two employees from the different organisations to find out if there is any differences in their way of work.This study indicates that the organisations means a lot for the individuals. The social network, something to do during the day, a kind treatment but also the milieu are factors that seems important for the individuals. The organisations even creates a feeling of connection and satisfy other kind of needs.

In the field of municipal services there are a wide range of aspects a small community must consider, especially considering that the circumstances in which a municipality operate continuously are changing. The changes include, for example, migration, individual lifestyles, the political governance and environment. Jönköping Energi AB (JEAB) is a local energy supplier for the county of Jönköping. JEAB also maintain the local Metropolitan Area Network (MAN). They have recently installed GPON in a portion of their network and have connected it to the MAN via an Extreme switch.However JEAB would prefer to use Cisco equipment instead of Extreme since the MAN comprises of Cisco hardware. They require a solution to connect GPON to the MAN with a recently purchased line card (Cisco 7600 ES20) which can be installed in a Cisco 6500 Catalyst switch. There is also a possible solution with an Alcatel-Lucent 7450 ESS-1 switch.

The background of this research is that Swedish food products have hard to compete at the home market, depending on imported food products that increase more and more for every year that pass by. The ethic values LRF associate with Swedish food products, many customers have hard to put in relation with condition of foreign agriculture.
Most customers today inquire high quality, safety and convenience in the food which they are eating. The source of their food seems to have less meaning. Many restaurants and bigger households appreciate Swedish food products and wants to buy them but price differences against foreign wares are to high.
We have done oral interviews with wholesale dealers, restaurants, public purchasers and with different market organisations, there we have discussed buying strategies, the way they see the primary producer, the conscious of guests, choice and attitudes to Swedish and foreign products, distribution of power in the food market chain and to what position and suspension, they want the ranks of suppliers to have.
The result shows the share of imported wares within restaurants and bigger households are at a high level and will continuing increasing. Within these sectors the final consumer in many cases put less effort in the origin of the raw source of food.

I denna studie har vi gjort en fallstudie av Falkenberg där vi kunnat se att de är framgångsrika inom kulturella upplevelser. Enligt teorier om platsmarknadsföring bör en plats framhålla sådant som skiljer dem från andra i sin marknadsföring för att skapa konkurrensfördelar. I analysen framgår det dock att Falkenbergs stad inte har tagit tillvara på de kulturella upplevelseutbuden i sin marknadsföring. Staden har trots detta lyckats förbättra sin turismnäring de senaste åren varpå vi kan dra slutsatsen att även andra faktorer bidrar till att skapa ett attraktivt besöksmål. The cities that are studied are Stockholm and Visby.Methodology: The study is based on a qualitative method. We have done interviews and observation.
