We are two students of Horticulture management with marketing profile, now doing an extended course in Business Leadership within horticulture and agriculture. During our 2 years of studies we have used the same company once before, and this project is an expansion of a previous piece of work. We decided, in agreement with the company, to use an inquiry for our study. For this we have contacted 290 of the company's already existing customers. The primary purpose of the survey is to analyze the service offered by the company.

ABSTRACTBackground: Endometriosis is a chronic disease where the tissue, that the uterus contains,also can be found outside the uterus.The objective of the study was to investigate young women?s experience of endometriosisand how they experience the care.Method: Fourteen young adults were asked to participate and eight of them did participate.They were all in the range of age 14-20 and they all had had contact with a unit forendometriosis in Sweden. Semai-structured interview was chosen as the data collectionmethod. An interview guide was used during the interviews. For the analysis aphenomenological method with focus upon experiences was used.Results: The result showed that the young adults? experiences in the daily living containedpain, alienation, tiredness and side effects.

The aim of this study is to go into depth and analyze the identity ?immigrant? (invandrare) and how it is constituted in Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet and Sydsvenska Dagbladet. An investigation (SOU 2006:21) by Swedish authorities concludes that immigrants are portrayed in an unfavorable way in Swedish media, whilst Gunnar Sandelin in a debate article in Sweden?s biggest morning newspaper (Dagens Nyheter) meant that Swedish media lies about immigrants, creating an image of them that is too favorable that is not in Touch with reality. This gives this thesis momentum to further investigate the identity immigrants are given in Swedish media.The theory and method used in this thesis is Laclau?s and Mouffe?s discourse theory.

Plant Protection Products (PPP) used in the horticulture industry can be both chemical and biological. They are used for weeds (herbicides), insects (insecticides), and fungi (fungicides) and as growth retarders.Many horticulture workers get in Touch with plants, treated with PPPs and many of these don?t use any protective equipment.The aim of this project is to illustrate the work environment hazards for staff working with greenhouse pot plants, after they have been sprayed.The method used was observations of the operations for packing plants. I studied the operations and took notes of how operations were performed and what protective equipment they used. I also took photos and asked questions.A literature study completed the observations.

Aim: Many people react negatively when they find out that I work as an estate agent. They believe that estate agents earn more money then they should. What many do not know is how hard we must work and that it doesn´t suit someone who is looking for an 8-17 work. As an estate agent I thought it would be interesting to found out why the estate agents have such a bad reputation.Method: This essay is based on the interviews with estate agents and branch organizations but also on newspaper articles about real estate agents. Theory is collected marketing, where I have concentrate on concepts of branding, positioning, communication and image.Result & Conclusions: The factors, which I found in my investigation, that have an effect to the bad reputation are; media, commission, the customers and the bidding.

System Andersson AB is a company located in Jönköping that works with developing computer systems for the mechanical engineering industry. As of today, when this report is written, the company is working on the development of a new Manufacturing Planning and Control (MPC) system. This new system aims to create not only a user friendly interface but also a modern, stylish interface. To achieve this, the company has decided to work with a, for them, new application framework; Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).System Andersson is well known for developing systems for different kinds of Touch screens, this project is no exception. For this new user interface the company wishes to implement different types of Drag&Drop functionality.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa intervjustudie var att undersöka arbetssituationen för svenska manligasjuksköterskor, med fokus på beröring och strategier vid intimt omvårdnadsarbete. Nio manligasjuksköterskor med anställning på Akademiska sjukhuset i Uppsala intervjuades.Informanterna uppgav att de alla kände sig väl mottagna av sina kvinnliga kollegor och att de kändesig bekväma på sina arbetsplatser. Faktumet att de var män i en kvinnodominerad yrkesgrupp varinget som spelade in i någon större utsträckning, varken beteendemässigt eller i hur de blevbemötta. Informanterna såg alla arbetsuppgifter som en naturlig del av yrkesrollen, en roll de allakände sig trygga i. Att förklara syftet med intima procedurer samt hur de skulle genomföras och att ipotentiellt problematiska fall fråga om patienten hellre ville ha en kvinnlig sjuksköterska var deenskilt vanligaste strategierna.

Recreation leaders on youth recreation centres is a professional category, mostly mentioned in the public conversation when it comes to taxes and youth problems. But what do they really do, what outlook do they have to their task, and finally, how are their daily lives like at work? The stories of twelve people represent the basis of this essay which itself consists of two separate studies. Six professional recreation leaders speak about their view of their own work, based on background, mission, education, ethics and position. The recreation leaders´stories reflect a worksituation with meetings of great significance andimportant standpoints.

Beröring är ett universellt sätt att kommunicera på och ettnaturligt och medfött beteende. Beröring inom omvårdnadinnehåller fysiska, emotionella, sociala och spirituelladimensioner, vilket kan ses som ett holistiskt synsätt. Syftetmed studien var att belysa patienters upplevelser av beröringinom canceromvårdnad och palliativ omvårdnad. Studiengenomfördes som en litteraturstudie där 11 artiklaranalyserades. Resultatet visade att beröring huvudsakligenledde till ökat välbefinnande och förbättrad livskvalitet.Patienter upplevde att de kände sig bekräftade som en helmänniska och inte enbart som en sjuk kroppsdel.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate how diversity takes shape in children?s picture books published in Sweden. Twelve picture books, which Touch the aspect of diversity in the categories of gender, ages, culture, nation, ethnicities, language, class, sexuality and functional disorder, were chosen from the Swedish National Council for Cultural Affairs catalogue for youth and children?s books 2006. They have been analysed with the conception of ikonotext and with the theory of Pierre Macherey?s image in the mirror, of how literature reflects the reality of society.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att analysera och studera hur man skapar en position för Functional Food produkten i konsumentens medvetande, det vill säga undersöka vilka positioneringsstrategier svenska Functional Food produkten har, och vilka marknadsstrategier företagen har använt för att skapa önskad position i konsumentens medvetande. Genom fallstudier undersöker och analyserar vi hur företagen har lanserat och positionerat sina Functional Food produkter mot intressanta marknadssegment. Syftet med fallstudier är att exemplifiera vilka positioneringsstrategier Unilever och Skånemejerier använt sig av och under vilka förutsättningar de har lyckats nå en position med sina Functional Food produkter på den svenska marknaden. Det empiriska materialet har kompletterats med expertintervjuer. Den teoretiska referensramen utgörs av tre teoriområden, Innovation, Diffusionsprocessen samt Positionering, där vi fokuserar på skärningspunkten mellan dessa.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how places can be marketed through tourism brochures. The study is based on a discourse analysis and texts and pictures from three brochures, which come from the region of Småland in Sweden, have been analyzed. The first brochure is from Visit Småland, the second from Vetlanda municipality and the third from Värnamo municipality. With the rise of globalization one of the consequences has been the increased opportunity for tourists to visit places all over the world, which also resulted in a greater competition between places than before. One reaction to this has been the increased marketing of each place unique characteristics in the tourist brochures.

In today?s history teaching in Sweden, role-play and historical re-enactment receive littleattention. Even though many students find history as a subject boring and irrelevant, verylittle is done to improve the mode of teaching. My theses is that this could be done bypresenting new ways of teaching and at the same time find a way to make more studentsinterested in history. The main aim is to investigate if there are ways to offer students anexperience of history by carrying out different interactive exercises with a Touch of roleplayand historical recreation.

In my thesis I have chosen to examine pre-school from a gender perspective, focusing on the current norms of society that are also influencing pre-school. My thesis is written in the form of an essay, which means that reflections are a substantial part, and writing has become a part of my process of learning. My thesis originates in three different situations that I have experienced during the years I have been working in the pre-school. These situations show how I, as a pre-school educator, unconsciously am a part of creating norms, patterns and gender. The curriculum of the pre-school has been the basis of this thesis, and an important part has been to interpret what the mission of pre-school is in practice.I start by explaining the concepts of sex, gender and norms, and continue by describing how preschool can be viewed as an institution preserving the norms.

Bakgrund:Beröring är en viktig del i omvårdnaden som sjuksköterskan tillämpar naturligt. Beröring har en lugnande funktion och taktil massage som metod kan därmed tillämpas i syfte att lugna patienter med ångestproblematik. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa hur personer med ångest upplever taktil massage som behandlingsmetod. Metod: En litteraturstudie med systematiskt tillvägagångssätt tillämpades. Studien baserades på elva vetenskapliga artiklar.
