Undersökningens syfte är att undersöka huruvida det finns ett samband mellan traditionella könsnormer samt inställningen till det egna landets familjepolitik, och landets totala fertilitetsnivå. Uppsatsen har en kvantitativ ansats med analyser baserade på data från European Social Survey samt Eurostat och undersöker 26 europeiska länder. Den teoretiska bakgrunden belyser hur mönstret i de totala fertilitetsnivåerna har förändrats till de nivåer som uppvisas i Europa idag. Vidare beskrivs hur könsrollsattityder och familjepolicys kan kopplas till födelsetal. Av den teoretiska bakgrunden framkommer vikten av att kunna kombinera barn med förvärvsarbete som en nyckelaspekt.

Phosphorus (P) is an essential nutrient but a surplus could lead to eutrophication. Furthermore, the minerals used to produce the mineral phosphate is a non renewable resource. There are in other words several reasons to reduce the leakage of P and the agriculture is one important area to attend. The aim of this work has been to investigate if carbon-rich arable soils content contain more P than arable soils with low carbon content. Moreover it has been calculated if the carbon-rich soils could pose a risk of P leakage by comparing their delivery of P with the plant uptake. The work has consisted of compiling the results from former gathered and analysed soil samples of 130 Swedish arable soils. The fractions of P considered are water soluble P (Pw), ammonium lactate-extractable P (P-AL), hydrochloric acid-soluble P (P-HCl), organic ammonium lactate-extractable P (Porg-AL) and inorganic ammonium lactate-extractable P (Porg-HCl).

In this thesis a prototype board for data aqcusition is designed and manufactured. The board is compliant with Compact PCI Express and it can sample an analog signal with two time interleaved ADC:s. Furthermore, the board is also equiped with one FPGA for the possibility of signal processing. Syftet har varit att tydliggöra hur energianvändningen på Nymölla Bruk ser ut. Bakgrunden till detta arbete är företagets deltagande i programmet för energieffektivisering i energiintensiv industri (PFE).I examensarbetet har en energikartläggning på Nymölla Bruk för år 2010 utförts. Fallstudien delades in i två steg där första steget i studien var att kartlägga energi?ödena in och ut från bruket.Andra delen av studien innefattade att kartlägga de interna processerna och deras energi?öden.

The aim of this thesis is to study the private owner structure in the Swedish forestry. This will be done with both a investigation of forest owners in Småland the year 2000 and 2001 and also a statistic research for the private forest owners in Sweden right now and over the years. In Sweden more than half of the total forest area is owned by private forest owner, witch is approximately 22 600 000 ha. Private forestry includes the owner categories private person, ordinary partnership and the estate of deceased persons. The main part of the private forestry is to be found in Norrland but also in the rest of Sweden private forestry constitute a large part of the forestry area.

Background: During the last decade climbing has become more popular and the numbers of climbers in Sweden have increased considerably. Most common are overuse injuries caused by the great stress and strain climbing creates on different parts of the body. Previous studies show that 75-90% of climbing injuries are localised in the upper extremity. Injuries affecting the lower extremity occur often acute and traumatic. Based on these facts and that the number of climbers constantly grows, it is more likely that the need of care from physiotherapist among climbers will increase.

This study has been conducted with the purpose to examine the marketing effects of waiting lines on the customer- and brand experience. Our ambition has been to describe how the waiting line can be used to heighten the positive experiences. The study has had a qualitative, as well as an inductive approach towards the subject. The study is mainly based on nine interviews with a total of ten respondents employed at nine different companies relevant to the subject. Relationen mellan tränare och aktiv idrottande individ är en viktig faktor för idrottsrelaterad framgång. Många forskare framhäver dess vikt och menar att det ibland är den mest avgörande faktorn. Vidare är det bevisat att engagemang är viktigt för individens idrottsrelaterade prestationer.Syftet med undersökningen är därför att undersöka huruvida relationen mellan tränare och aktiv idrottande individ har ett samband med individens engagemang och om det föreligger skillnader mellan lagidrott och individidrott.Kvantitativ datainsamlingsmetod användes och undersökningen gjordes på 108 stycken (79 pojkar och 29 flickor) unga tävlingsidrottare i åldern 15-18 år. Undersökningen är en tvärsnittsstudie med frågeformulär baserat på tidigare forskning. Analysen gjordes med korrelationsanalys, både för totala gruppen av respondenter och på de olika idrottstyperna individuell idrott (n=55) och lagidrott (n=53) samt genom en multipel regressionsanalys.Resultatet visade på ett positivt, medelstarkt samband där en förändring i engagemang kan förklaras av en förändring i relation till 20 procent.

The purpose with the study was to find a pattern in the behaviour of dairy cows which could be related to their social rank. A behavioural study was conducted at the University Cattle Research Centre (Kungsängen) in Uppsala, Sweden. The study included 12 lactating dairy cows, 6 high ranked and 6 low ranked. The cows were housed in a loose housing barn with an automatic milking system (AMS) to which they had access 24 hours a day. During the experiment the total number of cows in the barn was 46.

Introduction: More and more children and young people get the diagnosis celiac disease established. Celiac is a life-long disease, which means that the child during the rest of its life has to be on a strictly gluten-free diet. There are few studies so far, which have examined how children having a life-long disease with food treatment and increasing prevalence really experience their health related quality of life (HRQoL).Purpose: The purpose of the study was to examine how children (8 ? 18 years old) suffering from celiac valued their HRQoL and to illustrate as well whether the age of the child and its extent of disease when it was taken ill affected the child?s evaluation of HRQoL later in life. The purpose was also to compare whether the children?s parents valued the HRQoL of their children to the same extent as the children did.Method: 160 children, 54 boys and 102 girls were included in the study.
