Bakgrund: Hjärtsvikt är en allvarlig och vanligt förekommande sjukdom samt en av de vanligaste orsakerna till sjukhusinläggning. Hjärtsvikt bidrar till en försämrad hälsa och livskvalitet. Egenvårdsåtgärder har en betydande roll för att främja patientens hälsa samt för att förebygga försämring av tillståndet. Brister i egenvård hos patienten beror till stor del på okunskap om hjärtsvikt och egenvårdsåtgärder.Syfte: Att beskriva vilka effekter patientutbildning har på egenvård och livskvalité hos patienter med hjärtsvikt, syftet var även att beskriva de ingående artiklarnas datainsamlingsmetoder.Metod: En deskriptiv litteraturstudie där 12 vetenskapliga artiklar från databasen Pubmed har inkluderats för att kunna svara på syfte och frågeställningar. Artiklarnas resultat och metod har analyserats och sammanställts under 6 kategorier.Resultat: Patientutbildning har visat sig ha positiva effekter både på egenvård och livskvalité.

Sports facilities are a highly unexplored field, and as of the autumn 2008 no research is being conducted about sports fields at Swedish architecture universities. Very few people recognize the sports field as an area for the architecture profession, and to gain more information about sports fields I have discussed the subject with people with connections to architecture and/or sport. The sports field represents a type of sports facility, a permanent football and/or bandy field surrounded by running tracks with appropriate measurements. Like the city?s physical environment, the sports field is a public place, where outdoor activities take place.

Although textbooks are scientifically proven that they are important and central to the school curriculum one should think critically about the content in textbooks - is it really compatible with the curriculum of following the textbook tradition? As a teacher there are different ways to reflect on which textbook to choose. It is important to compare several textbooks with each other and be aware that a textbook should follow the curriculum. A teacher examines many sections/Topics in the textbooks, but in this paper only one section will be reviewed among four different textbooks. The section to be compared, in the paper, is the interwar period.

In the fall of 2014 a literature review and a scientific study of the Topic; "... in the extent to which companies in the industry applies the evaluation of continuous improvement? was conducted at Mälardalen University. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) does not have an explicit definition but instead entail a broad spectrum of various obligations that an organisation is responsible for. CSR has in recent years become a highly relevant and debatable Topic as a consequence of the increased exposure of companies to society. Due to an augmented consumption from the general population, CSR is of great importance in companies' aspiration to create and maintain a solid relationship with costumers. Previous researches have described what areas of CSR are most relevant in terms of consumption. However, it can be suggested that these publications have failed to provide an indication of what type of costumers these various areas attract.

The aim of this study is, from a norm-critical approach, to find, investigate and analyse human representation in the visual culture of one preschool in order to understand if the children enrolled are represented or not. The research questions are: In what ways is there imagery of human representations in images and materials designed for play? What skin-colors and origins are dominant in the data collected?We carried out a qualitative study in the form of visual ethnography. This method allowed us to use a combination of different data collection tools such as photography and ethnographic field notes to collect our data. The photographs we took of images and material used for play, was then analysed through semiotic picture analysis.

Saab Dynamics wants to introduce simulation driven design. Since Saab Dynamics engineers have little experience of simulation, required a user methodology with clear guidelines.

Background: The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority?s mortgage limitation, of mortgaging up to 85 percent of the market value of the real estate was introduced on the first of October 2010. The aim of the recommendation is to prevent a detrimental development of the market for mortgages while at the same time creating incentives for the consumers to limit the debt level. The mortgage limitation is a recently adopted recommendation and few studies have made a thorough analysis of its effects, hence it is an interesting Topic to study.Aim: The aim of this study is to analyze the initial effects of the mortgage limitation for consumers, banks and estate agencies. Furthermore, the study aims to evaluate drivers of consumer debt levels and conclude whether the mortgage limitation will result in lower debt levels for consumers.Completion: The study is based on interviews with respondents from banks and with respondents from estate agencies to enlighten the initial and long term effects of the mortgage limitation.

The writing style of a particular author can be divided into many subfeatures, for example use of words, language and syntax. Focusing on the latter, this study aims to show how well syntactic information alone can attribute the correct author to a document. Syntactic information is defined as overlapping syntactic subtrees of height one (1) for all sentences of all included documents. The performance is compared to that of the previously very successful method of comparing stop word frequencies. The castration of piglets is performed routinely all around the world. Most castrations are done without anaesthesia and analgesia, despite the fact that this procedure has been proved to induce acute pain and stress for the piglets. The procedure regarding castration of piglets is currently a hot Topic of debate and an important political issue. The underlying issue is the boar taint which are highlighted in the heating of the meat after slaughter, which in turn can lead to reduced meat sales as it can be perceived as unpleasant for many consumers. The purpose of this study is to examine alternative drugs which may be selected in order to replace the practice of castration of piglets without anaesthesia, in light of improved animal welfare.
