Är det möjligt att skapa en lanseringswebbsida för ett TV-/dataspel som både är användarvänlig och lever upp till målgruppens förväntningar? Med hjälp av Tommy Sundströms användbarhetsteori och andra hjälpmedel ska en fiktiv lanseringssida byggas för att testas på en målgrupp. Först samlade jag in ett urval av spelwebbsidor som jag sedan begränsade till tre. Dessa tre spelsidor analyserade jag utefter användbarhetsteorin där jag granskade typografin, navigationen och hastigheten. Från denna analys och med hjälp av användbarhetsteorin byggde jag sajten Bravocharlie.

The aim of this master thesis is to study if the websites of the Swedish public libraries are accessible to all people. According to the library law all people must have access to the public libraries and their information services. Today, when the Internet is one of the largest sources of information, it is important that all people, including those with different kind of disabilities, children, elderly, immigrants and people with old technical equipment, have access to the public libraries websites.We have in this study considered the graphic user interface, the language, the structure and the navigation possibilities at ten public library websites. We have from a checklist of our own, based upon the opinion of different experts such as Jacob Nielsen and Tommy Sundström, investigated the websites.The main finding of our study is that the websites are generally accessible even thou we found a lack of accessible for immigrants. Most of the websites had some pages in English, but none hade all pages in this language.

Med Tommy Persson kvalitets- och produktchef vid Masonite Beams AB i Rundvik diskuterades problemet kring infästning av väggelement med hög färdighetsgrad till grunden. Det bestämdes att arbetet skulle fokusera på en- och tvåbostadshus och att endast fenomenet stjälpning skulle beaktas.Lastfördelningen gjordes enligt vad Klas Nyman skrivit i sitt examensarbete Tredimensionella effekter vid horisontalstabilisering av volymbyggda trähus. Beräkningar av lyftkraft gjordes enligt den plastiska metoden med syllen förankrad mot lyft medan frontregeln inte är förankrad mot lyftning som Bo Källsner och Ulf Arne Girhammar beskriver i sin bok Horisontalstabilisering av träregelstommar. För beräkning av skruvars bärförmåga tillämpades Eurokod 5. För beräkning av 5-percentilsvärden från provning tillämpades SS-EN 14358:2006 Träkonstruktioner.Resultat; de två studerade fästmetodernas dimensionerande bärförmåga är 1.61 kN och 1,23 kN, lyftkraften i syllen är i storleksordningen 3-19 kN/m.Rapporten kan ses som en fingervisning på hur stora lyftkrafter som uppstår i syllen när det blåser och ett alternativ på hur man ska beräkna dessa lyftkrafter.

1958 års Försvarsbeslut innebar att den svenska Marinens anslagstilldelning kraftigt minskades. Noise music is created around sounds not often welcome in a musical context. Since the birth of electronic music in the 1950s a new perspective on composing has emerged. In electronic music, sounds and their timbre are as much important as melody, harmony and rhythm. This composing perspective is not often observed. Therefore I have examined a musical genre that stretches the boundaries of what we consider music, sound, noise, beautiful and terrible.

This is a study about a company in Norrköping, called Stadium AB, and its first steps into the global market. We have studied how the conditions of the company have changed during their expansion. This study is not written from the viewpoint of business economics, it is rather a study from a cultural and social studies perspective. The study deals with subjects such as the globalization of society, organizational theories and leadership. The empiric material consists of Stadium?s staff magazine Tracks, the company?s swedish homepage on the Internet and an interview with Sussi Calås-Jonsson, Chief of the Department of Information at Stadium AB.

During the 1960s and 1970s an increased interest in Native Americans can be seen in Sweden, e.g. through the establishment of organizations such as the Indian Club of Sweden. The aim of this thesis is to study the portrayal of Native Americans and its role through Albin Widén, a Swedish author, ethnologist and member of the Indian Club, and his non-fictional works on the Swedish migration to America, Swedish-America and Swedish contacts with Native Americans. The study is divided into four parts. The first part looks at the portrayal of the Native Americans in Widén?s writings, in comparison with Euro-Americans? and Europeans? traditional stereotypic images of a good and a bad Indian.

The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze why individuals develop and manage to leave drug abuse. The material consists of interviews with eight individuals who have gone through a life of addiction and managed to change their lifestyle. We contacted the participants through the organization called KRIS (Criminals Redress with Society). The results indicate that the participants have had a troublesome upbringing and been labeled by society as outsiders which have led them into addiction. The results also show that they have all gone through a social conversion from the life as an addict to become sober.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how six students who attend a high school relate to their multilingualism and emphasize how their multilingualism has affected their views of themselves and their identity. The fundamental questions were:How do six students who attend a secondary school relate to their multilingualism?How has students' multilingualism affected their views of themselves and their identity?I did use a qualitative research method in terms of interviews to receive answers for my inquiries.Carla Jonsson (2010) speaks inter alia about ?the third space? which concerns adolescents creating a ?third room?. Almqvist (2006) believes that adolescents that are exposed to discrimination and prejudices can lead to them turning their backs on society in disappointment. Boyd (1985) has, in his thesis, found that multilingual students communicate with the majority language and with their mother tongue with their parents.

Attityders betydelser är en undersökning som syftar till att skapa en förståelse av hur attitydgestalter fungerar i en debattsituation genom att analysera hur ickeverbal retorik såsom kroppsspråk, blickar och gester samspelar med det som uttryckligen sägs. Forskningsobjektet utgjordes av en tv-debatt i SVT Agenda mellan Gudrun Schyman (Fi) och jämställdhetsminister Maria Arnholm (Fp) kring den såkallade ?lönefrågan?, om hur politikerna ska verka för att lönerna i Sverige ska bli mer jämställda mellan kvinnor och män.Analysen visade att Schyman uttrycker många starka negativa attityduttryck som skapar en konflikt i debattens diskursdynamik. Dessa attityduttryck i kombination med vad Schyman säger till Arnholm gör att de båda debattörernas ethos och maktpositioner förändras, där Schyman får ett övertag i debatten som hon kan utnyttja för att till slut vinna den.Frågor som kan vara intressanta för vidare forskning är om Schymans konfliktskapande attityduttryck kan generaliseras till andra retoriker och med vilket syfte det i så fall verkar ske. Sådan forskning skulle kunna nyansera den retorik som framförs i politiska debatter och indirekt bidra till att granska dessa ideologikritiskt..

Background: The stress in the society seems to having become more amplified and more trying. Statistics show that the appearance of stress related industrial diseases have increased strikingly. What can be stressing at the workplace? The work conditions are not the only thing that causes stress but no matter what the causes are employers have to restore the employees to their former positions. How are companies dealing with the problems of stress in reality? Do they have formulated strategies for how to manage the problems?
