In this essay I analyze the way my collection of poetry relates to the concept cyclic. What is cyclic and what different interpretations are there concerning the concept? Which other related concepts are there regarding things that seem to reoccur regularly? How does the cyclical, the circular, relate to the linear in regard, for example, to the perception of time? Life often creates the sense that different phenomena and experiences repeat themselves. Different processes are conducted according to regular or irregular cyclical phases, situations seem familiar and events can be relived.         Starting from my writing project Sinnligt kviller, a collection of poems, I discuss these questions in themselves and the impact they have had on my collection. I describe the phenomenon cyclic as a result of the emotions and moods this term creates in a more or less decisive way.         The intention with this paper is to show how Sinnligt kviller offers different perspectives of and reflections upon the various feelings provoked by the cyclic in our lives, feelings that are given my own voice in the literary text under study..

Social work is a social phenomenon, existing in most societies, that has given rise to a multitude of special organizations and professions. For that reason social work is dealing with a complex identity. The purpose of this study is to illustrate how social workers and the scientific discourse interpret the concept of social work. In addition to that the study intends to show similarities and differencies. The research process containes two studies, one based on qualitative interviews with five social workers and the other consisting a surway of academic litterature.

According to law all Swedish authorities must express themselves using correct, plain and comprehensible language whenever they communicate with the citizens in order to make it easy to understand what needs to be known to participate in the Swedish democratic society. I would like to explore if there are more tools than the language that could be used to make their communication easier to comprehend, in this case images and stories. In this essay I will investigate the relationship between the written words and the visual components ? images and illustrations ? in brochures from Swedish authorities. I will also try to identify possible narratives in the brochures, and examine the functions of these narratives.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to highlight the professional?s perspectives and work with young girls who have eating disorder anorexia nervousa. We assume a social constructivist perspective where the professional?s interpretations and perspectives on the issue anorexia considered. The study is based on a qualitative analysis of interviews with seven professionals in the areas of work, social services, school counselor, school nurse, anorexia unit and child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP).From a thematic analysis of the interviews, three themes emerged.

I uppsatsen inventeras, kategoriseras och karaktäriseras den konstnärliga utsmyckningen vid Växjö universitetsbiblioteks nybyggda del. Uppsatsen visar också den process som ligger bakom inköp och placering av de konstverk som finns synliga för allmänheten. Genom intervjuer med inblandade personer och konststudering har tolkningar och jämförelser gjorts.I uppsatsen jämförs olika tendenser inom samtidskonsten med den specifika konstsamlingen. Frågan om konstverken är representativa för samtidskonsten besvaras utifrån uppställda definitioner av tendenser inom samtidskonst. Uppsatsen visar bland annat att den specifika konstsamlingen representerar en estetiskt tilltalande konstsyn, där förståelse och anpassning går före provokation och motarbete..

The purpose of this study has been to explore the expectations of the primary school on the activities of the pre-school. In order to limit the study I have chosen to compare the expectations found in two different schools. In the first case, the pre-school is integrated with the after-school centre and grade one to three (primary school), into the same building. In the other case, the pre-school share localities with the after-school centre in a separate building, with its own yard, within the primary school area. Since the purpose is rather comprehensive, it has been divided into sub-themes with separate set of questions.

I Sverige är hållbar utveckling ett övergripande mål för regeringens politik. Alla politiska beslut som fattas ska i ett längre tidsperspektiv ta hänsyn till ekonomiska, sociala och miljömässiga aspekter. Hållbar utveckling återkommer i Miljöbalkens första paragraf. Miljöbalkens syfte är i första hand att generellt skydda människors hälsa, främja tillkomsten eller bevarandet av stabila ekosystem och att ge förutsättningar för att naturresurser ska kunna användas på ett sätt som är hållbart. Strandskyddet regleras i miljöbalkens 7 kapitel 13-18 §§ och dess syfte är att trygga förutsättningarna för allmänhetens friluftsliv och bevara goda livsvillkor på land och i vatten för djur- och växtlivet.Strandskyddsbestämmelserna gäller på samma sätt i hela Sverige och innebär att det är förbjudet att bygga inom 100 meter från strandlinjen vid hav, sjöar samt vattendrag.

The aim of this thesis is to find out how users and libraries are constructed at public library websites in Sweden from a web 2.0 perspective. We discuss the development of public libraries in Swedish history and the change from an system oriented perspective to a individual oriented perspective and how these perspectives correspond to needs of the library user. We also discuss the concept of web 2.0 and library 2.0. These concepts are open for different interpretations. Some writers believe that web 2.0 and library 2.0 is something radically new and that it will change the public libraries, while other writers claim that these concepts is just a marketing plan.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the narrative in You are a bad man, mr Gum! to be able to understand and explain the intermedial aspects of the work. I assume an intermedial, narratological and reception theory perspective in my analysis. The method of close reading is used combined with a reader-oriented perspective. I examine the medial aspects of the chosen work through the pictures, the text, and the iconicity of the typographical pattern of the text. To reach my goal, the following questions are dealt with: What is the character of the narration? How do the various media interact in the production of meaning? What is the relationship between the text and the implicit reader? What is the narratological difference between reading the book aloud and silently? The theoretical framework f the paper consists of narratological and intermedial theories.

Uppsatsen behandlar mottagandet av Wallanderfilmerna från Ystad i svensk dags- och kvällspress. Den utgår teoretiskt från receptionsteorin såsom den presenterats av bl.a. Janet Staiger och behandlar främst filmerna "Innan frosten" (2005) och "Mastermind" (2005). Uppsatsen visar på och analyserar skillnaderna i mottagandet av de bägge filmerna och föreslår därefter några möjliga tolkningar av resultaten..

Skatteverket fattar varje år ett grundläggande beslut om årlig taxering, enligt 4 kap. 1§ TL. Skattebetalare är skyldiga att medverka genom att lämna riktiga uppgifter till underlag för taxeringen. Enligt 15 kap. 1§ 1 st.

Vi har gjort en studie där två åldersgrupper av svenska barn vid 4, respektive 8 års ålder som först deltog i en högläsning av en bilderbok om vissa grundläggande känslor (bl. a. glädje, ilska och rädsla) och sedan ombads att åskådliggöra dessa genom gester och bildskapande. Barnens gester fotograferades och bilderna bevarades och tolkades av barnen. Barnens produktioner och tolkningar filmades och analyserades med avseende på likheter och skillnader mellan de tre semiotiska resurserna - gester, bilder och språk - i de två ål-dersgrupperna.

The aim with this essay was that on the basis of the care staff?s interpretations study how the unaccompanied refugee children consider cultural differences in the Swedish society and how it influenced the children. The study was carried out through six qualitative interviews with care workers at a municipal group accommodation for unaccompanied refugee children in the south of Sweden. The individual interviews were semi-structured and built on a list of questions with different subjects that were linked to the aim and question formulation for the essay. The analysis was carried out from Lazarus theory about coping and Antonovsky?s theory about ?SOC?, sense of coherence, with focus on the three components, comprehensibility, manageability and meaningfulness.

Pain and pain treatment constitute a huge part of the general nurses work. For that reason the nurse is required to have great knowledge about this area. The fact that our society is getting more multicultural increase the nurses demands even more, to understand and treat pain in patients of foreign cultural background. The aim of this literature review is to examine which culturally learned and trans-ferred valuations, norms and approaches that appear related to physical pain. The aim is also to examine the most appropriate ways for the nurse to show respect and to get more information about this cultural experience in the encounter with the patient.

I det här arbetet har jag gjort intervjuer med fem grundsärskolelärare om hur de bearbetar frågor om döden med sina elever. Om detta finns mycket få undersökningar. Endast en bok i Sverige behandlar ämnet utvecklingsstörda och döden. De beskrivningar av situationer från tillfällen då lärarna bearbetat dessa frågor är avidentifierade. Lärarna har fått läsa utskrifter av intervjuerna och haft möjlighet att reagera på dessa före mina tolkningar av dem.
