In our everyday life we are constantly affected by sound; at home, on our way to and from work, when taking a walk through the woods and when we sleep. In discussions about sound one often talk about noise and to what degree a certain noise disturbs us. The positive qualities of a sound and what sounds contribute to the experience of a good environment is rarely discussed. The question of sound and the quality of sound is given more attention through the expansion of Stockholm, the city is becoming both bigger and more crowded. This raises new questions concerning the planning of the city e.g. should the changes of the sound quality in a place be one of the aspects taken into consideration when planning new buildings, are there ways to improve the sound quality in new building projects? Can we even improve the quality of sound in existing places by simple means? I have chosen to study four different areas in Stockholm; Hötorget, Mariatorget, Berzeliipark and Norrmalmstorg.

The study is aimed at investigating the images of God, or how God is percepted, that is beingpresented in the artistic work of Ingmar Bergman, and how they differ from each other. The filmsthat are being analysed in this study is The seventh seal (1957), The Magician (1958), Through aglass darkly (1961), Winter light (1963), The Silence (1963), Persona (1965) and Cries andwhispers (1973).To examine the images of God that are being presented throughout the scope of the study Iam mainly using common cinematic theories that are presented in James Monacos How to read afilm (2000) and Louis Giannettis Understanding film(1993) which basically are structuralistapproaches to discussing film as a language and interpretation.I am studying each movie as it is presented to us, the viewers, and only speaking of the film.I am also looking into Ingmar Bergmans personal life, not to examine if he was a Christian believer,but for clues to interpret themes, characters and the event taking place in each of the films. Thestudy is investigating the series of films as a connected unity, a connected unity that explores therelationship of God and mankind as it is presented in the films.The result of the study is that the image of God presented in the films of Ingmar Bergman isa God that moves from the transcendent sphere to the immanent sphere, a God, or ?the Holy? thatover the years transforms into something materialistic. This new God, or holiness, is something thatexists in the interpersonal relations of mankind in the latter work of Ingmar Bergman..

Syftet med studien var att finna vilka uppfattningar yrkesverksamma inom socialt arbete har om barns situation i familjer med alkoholmissbruksproblematik. Vi ville även belysa deras uppfattningar kring deras eget arbete med familjerna. Studien byggdes upp via en fenomenografisk ansats med socialkonstruktivismen som teoretisk grund. Fenomenografin fokuserar på vad ett fenomen uppfattas vara istället för vad fenomenet är. En uppfattning är enligt fenomenografin någonting som sällan är en företeelse för reflektion utan snarare något som finns i det undermedvetna.

Arbetet med textilier går som en röd tråd genom kvinnors historia, och den textila kunskapen ingår i kvinnlig tradition och kvinnlig kultur.Vadstena med omnejd har under århundraden varit centrum för knyppling. Här knypplade man inte bara för husbehov, utan försäljning av knypplade alster utgjorde ofta ett viktigt bidrag till hushållet. Knyppling och knypplad spets kan främst förknippas med tre områden. Här återfinns själva knypplingen och knypplerskorna, försäljningen via förläggare och spetsgångare, och till sist de som köpte alstren.Knyppling har både en kulturell och social historia. Det finns mycket litet dokumenterat kring de kvinnor som producerade knypplade spetsar.

Denna rapport innehåller information från ett examensprojekt för två studenter från Jönköping Tekniska Högskola förlagt på företaget Fläkt Woods AB i Jönköping. Syftet med projektet har varit att framta en generisk kravspecifikation innehållande kravsättning och verifieringsmetoder samt redovisning av vilka krav som har testats.Metoden som använts är kvalitativa intervjuer av anställda verksamma inom utveckling av nya produkter. All denna information och input har bearbetats till en generisk kravspecifikation i ett Excel-format under förkortningen PRV (Product Requirement and Verification matrix). Projektet har haft stort fokus på att återkommande krav ska beskrivas i en form som ska kunna anpassas till så många av företagets produkter som möjligt. Detta har lett till att majoriteten av dessa återkommande krav har visats sig vara icke-funktionella och krav relaterat till lagar och direktiv.

The purpose of this work is to see if the students, on two separate high schools, understand what skills you should achieve after completing the course in physical education and health A 100 points. The entire study is based on a student perspective. In order to best answer the purpose, the questionnaire used in the "available groups" in schools. The questions for the work are: To what extent and how students perceive what they should achieve after completing the course in Sport and Health A?, Which is the goal, based on the curriculum in Physical Education, that students feel are important to achieve? and how do a comparison like between these two schools on the basis of what students perceive that they must achieve in Sport and Health A?The result shows that the main goal that finds support in the course objectives is an assertion; Has knowledge of what to eat to maintain or improve health, which over 90% of students had checked in.

The concept of school forest was drafted in 1970 by the Forest in School organization and is defined as an area occupied by a school for outdoor educational activity. The main purpose of this study was to examine how schools use the school forest in practice, how it can be linked to the forest as an ecosystem service and find out how the forest is taken into consideration in the spatial planning. The study is mainly qualitative in nature and has been based on interviews conducted with educators engaged in outdoor education at four selected schools in a municipality in Sweden. Focus has been on the cultural ecosystem services for school forest, for example the physical characteristics that are considered as positive, forest influence on students' physical / mental health and the educational benefits available to be in the woods. Search has also been made to see how the forest is taken into consideration in the spatial planning and also what a contract agreements involves.

Globaliseringen ökar och företag använder sig i allt större utsträckning av internationella leverantörer. Fördelarna med detta är många, bland annat kan man uppnå kostnadsfördelar och få ett större produktutbud att välja mellan. Men det medför även utmaningar som företagen måste handskas med, osäkerheter gällande leverans, kvalitet och även leverantörens kapacitet inom olika områden är svår att bedöma i förhand. Trots dessa utmaningar och svårigheter är det snarare en regel än undantag att använda sig av leverantörer i lågkostnadsländer.Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka faktorer som ligger bakom företags beslut att använda sig av leverantörer i lågkostnadsländer samt vilka kriterier som är avgörande vid valet av dessa leverantörer.Studien är genomförd med en kvalitativ metod och empirin samlades in genom åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer med lika många företag. Företagen är detaljhandelsföretag och använder sig alla av leverantörer i Kina.

Syftet med den här studien är att ta reda på om det förekommer konflikträdsla mellan individer i en organisation, och i så fall vad det skulle kunna bero på. Efter sökning av artiklar och genomgång av litteratur i ämnet gjordes en enkät- och intervjuundersökning bland ett urval av undersköterskor på Universitetssjukhuset i Örebro. Bland cirka 630 anställda undersköterskor lämnades 100 stycken enkäter ut, varav 60 stycken besvarades. Parallellt med enkätundersökningen har fem av de anställda undersköterskorna på USÖ intervjuats. Två av dem valdes ut på grund av att de redan vid utlämnandet av enkäterna muntligen uttryckte egen erfarenhet av konflikträdsla.

Companies of today are facing a development where it is more significant to focus on existing customers since the approach constitute a more cost reducing way, compared to finding new customers. During the last decades the marketing has therefore moved towards a relationship based marketing. Companies emphasize creating long-term relationships with customers, instead of consider the sale as a non-recurrent phenomenon. To engender customer loyalty has been an essential objective in the creation of long-term relationships.In this essay the authors have chosen to do a study which enlighten how companies in the ready-made apparel business produce added value to their brand and through this generate customer loyalty. Through a case study we analyze how Filippa K, Tiger of Sweden and Gant do to maintain value in their brand, in both a business- and customer perspective.

Syftet med denna examensuppsats var att undersöka och beskriva svenska stridspiloters upplevda mentala hälsa. En enkät utformades bestående av ett skattningsbatteri med frågor om sömn och trötthet, OSLO-3, CAGE, HADS, frågor om fysiska symptom, GHQ-12 och SRE. Enkäten skickades ut till 129 JAS 39 piloter i ordinarie tjänst vid flygdivisioner i Försvarsmakten och Förvarets Materielverk (FMV). Resultatet visade att 77% av piloterna i studien bedömdes ha symptom på mild depression och 46% hade symptom på mild ångest. De flesta av de deltagande piloterna hade inte några alkoholrelaterade problem och 83% uppgav att de hade lätta fysiska besvär.ANOVA-analysen visade att de deltagande piloterna på utbildningsförbandet i medeltal hade signifikant högre poäng på GHQ-12 än piloterna på insatsförbanden.

This Masters thesis is made as the first of two visitor surveys of three urban forest areas. These areas are; Skutan recreational area in Haninge, Ugglevikskällan on Norra Djurgården in Stockholm and the Paradiset Reserve in Huddinge. The study is made in cooperation with the managers of the three areas operating within the European Union Life Project regarding Urban Woods for People. The goal has been to collect data through studies of visitors and close by residents in the three areas. The results are to be used as primary values for the follow-up as well as a basis for managerial decisions. The interviews and surveys are also constructed in a fashion so that they can be used for the follow-up study. For the Skutan recreational area the mode of contact was by sending forms to the nearby residential areas.

The municipal forests of Sala cover an area of 6 000 hectares, starting in the vicinity of the city and reaching north. At the same time as residents make abundant use of the areas closest to the community for outdoor activities and recreational purposes, the forest is of great economic value and also worth protecting for environmental reasons. These conditions make forestry in periurban woods more complex than conventional forestry, why a good understanding of the needs and demands on the forest and silviculture program is required. The purpose of this study is to depict the usage of the forests owned by the municipality of Sala, to set forth the common view of the silviculture program implemented by the municipality and to chart the expectations the community has on the forests and forestry of the future in the municipality of Sala. The survey part of this paper consists of the interviews of thirteen individuals representing nine interest groups. As expected the views of these individuals varied widely but some results were expressed by more or less all of them.

This Master thesis is performed at the request of the forest company Mellanskog and the local municipality of Borlänge in Sweden and aims to establish recreational adjusted forest management plan for the areas of Mellsta and Skräddarbacken in Borlänge. In all types of urban forestry it is very important that the management plan are accepted by the general public. To make sure that also these plans of future measures, pass in the public, interview studies have been performed in which the public wishes and interests have been examined and applied in the management plan. To make sure that future measures in the forest may be accepted by the public when the forest harvester enters the woods, it is very important that a well functional work of information has been made. The people living close by the forest shall have been informed a couple of weeks before the time of measures and it must also be good information available that explains what is to be done and why.

This master thesis was performed as a mission from Holmen Skog with the purpose to investigate to which extent their own machine teams and engaged contractors were exposed to theft and vandalism, and most common preventive measures used. With the help of collected data the study should lead to proposals of preventive measures that can help the machine teams in their struggle to minimise theft and vandalism. Theft and vandalism are a big problem for Swedish forest contractors. In a scarce economic situation thefts and vandalism rapidly decrease the profit for the contractors. However, the last years have resulted in a positive awareness of thefts, and more and better preventive measures have been developed. With the initiative of this master thesis, Holmen Skog show that they are aware of the situation and that they wish to take control of the problem. A total amount of 108 questionnaires was sent out to Holmen?s own machine teams and engaged contractors.
