English abstractTitle: Islam and the limitations of the public will of choice.The purpose of this paper have been to investigate how three modern Islamic theorists view the limitations of the public free will of choice based upon their interpretation of the Islamic theology and doctrine.The paper focuses to highlight how all three chosen Islamic theorist interpret the Islamic doctrine based upon my elected theses and more specifically pinpoint were the free will of choice ends, and Islam as a religion starts to take hegemony. The paper?s aim is to further an understanding that in the modern world and as a effect of increased literacy, Islam has been somewhat inclined to split into several Islamisms, based upon the variety of fatwa?s on the Islamic doctrine that is available online. Therefore it remains to the modern day Muslim, to individually decide whether they choose to follow the message of the Holy revelation in the Quran or trust a mufti?s fatwa in their everyday life as a Muslim.The material used and analyzed in this paper is prime source material.

Bakgrund: Våld beskrivs som såväl fysiskt som verbalt våld men även som hot om våld. Det finns ingen entydig definition utan det är en individuell upplevelse. Vårdsektorn är en av de mest utsatta arbetsplatserna för våld och patienten är oftast den som utför våldshandlingen. Det finns flera orsaker till att patienter kan bli våldsamma. Det finns ett mörkertal i rapporteringen av våldshändelser.

Bakgrund: Hot och våld är inom akutsjukvården ett allvarligt arbetsmiljöproblem som ökar såväl i Sverige som i resten av världen. Ambulanssjukvården är ett område inom sjukvården där förekomsten av hot och våld är som mest framträdande. Ambulanspersonalens vårdrum varierar och därför kan det vara en utmaning att skapa en säker arbetsmiljö. Syfte: Syftet var att ur ett prehospitalt perspektiv beskriva vilka åtgärder som kan vidtas för att kunna förebygga hot och våld inom akutsjukvård. Metod: En litteraturstudie med systematisk sökning och beskrivande design användes.

This study draws from Zygmunt Bauman´s theory that a governmental policy of values can reduce the personal responsibility and moral choices for employees, to focus only on maintaining the government?s internal rules and regulations. The apparent risk with this type of moral attenuation is that the employee is deprived of the possibility to react morally on conduct of the government?s external misuse of power. In this study, this theory is connected to the Swedish Armed Forces? policy of values, as these values do not include a critical standpoint for officers and soldiers.

The purpose of the thesis Masculinities ? Gender and its Impact on the Social conditions of individuals is to perform a critical study of how gendered norms influence the social conditions of individuals. This has been done by a problematization and the attempt to answer the question of how the hegemonical masculinity can be analyzed as a discourse, and how the structural aspects of this discourse inflict on the social conditions of masculinities.The question was divided into the analytical themes: the boarders of the discourse, the institutionalization of the discourse, the actuation of the discourse and the agents of the discourse. The theoretical frame is constituted by the theory of discourse by Michel Foucault, the theory of the hegemonical masculinity by R.W. Connell and a subversive identity theory by Judith Butler.

The gaming market has become the fastest growing market for leisure and is one of the most popular forms of homeentertainment. This has generated a media debate about how people are affected by gaming and concernes how we are affected by the violence that may occur in games. Games proponents argues that gaming is the future of teaching and computer games are becoming a sustainable and popular instruction strategy. Some studies have long used computer games for educational purposes. By interviewing high school students in focus groups as qualitative research, I studied their attitudes towards computer games as a learning tool.

Våld i nära relationer betraktas som ett samhällsproblem, där tonåringar har uppmärksammats vara en extra sårbar grupp. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka tonåringars attityder till våld i kärleksrelationer under tonårstiden. Hur skildrar tonåringar sina föreställningar om våld och vilka etiska och moraliska ställningstaganden gör de? Studien syftar även till att undersöka hur tonåringar förklarar förekomsten av våld i kärleksrelationer under tonårstiden och om det finns skillnader mellan tjejer och killars attityder.Denna studie har utgått från en kvalitativ forskningsmetod, där data samlats in med hjälp av fokusgruppsintervjuer. Data har sedan tematiserats med hjälp av meningskoncentrat och analyserats utifrån en tolkningsram innehållande teorier på samhälls, grupp- och individnivå.De slutsatser som kan dras utifrån denna studie är att tonåringar har en relativt snäv bild av vad våld i nära relation som begrepp innefattar.

?Viker du dig blir du uppäten? ? En intervjustudie om maskulinitet och våld skriven av Isabel Arias och Mina Andersson. Våld är ett socialt problem som regleras av det svenska rättsystemet och definieras som en gärning där någon uppsåtligen eller på grund av oaktsamhet orsakar någon annan kroppskada, smärta, lidande eller död. Både män och kvinnor faller offer för och utövar våld. Statistiskt sett är män överrepresenterade vad gäller våldsanvändning.

1998 beslutade Nässjö kommun att ett minnesmonument skulle uppföras lagom till millenieskiftet. En av de drivande personerna till idén var Jan Holmquist som vid tidpunkten var Kultur- och fritidschef för kommunen. Monumentet skulle göras av "den bäste" varpå Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd fick förfrågan.Skulpturen gestaltar Nässjö stad med hjälp av ett minne, historien om stadens uppbyggnad med järnvägen som en central del. Tåg som rörde sig framåt med hjälp av hårt arbete och kol inspirerade konstnären. Skisserna till verket spelar stor roll för att kunna förstå konstnärens intention med Kolskyffeln.

This study concerns the complete oeuvre by the British author Helen Zahavi: Dirty Weekend (1991), True Romance (1994), and Donna and the Fatman (1998). Her novels are here read as a trilogy dealing with the dialectics of gender and violence in 20th century discourse, drawing on theories of how the construction of subjects is produced by power, of the relation between power and sexuality.The heroines of Zahavi?s novels try their best to move about in a world where their freedom of movement is limited to their female identity. In Dirty Weekend the protagonist tries to shoot her way out, claiming revenge on every man that is forcing himself upon her. She gains some freedom of movement by refusing subordination, but does not really change the order of power.

Background and problem: In the last few years the threat against the environment and especially the emissions of carbon dioxide has become increasingly debated. The government have set up a goal to lower the emissions of carbon dioxide with 40 percent until 2020 compared to the level in 1990. The emissions in the transportation sector have, in contrast to the total emissions, increased since 1990 and will continue to increase unless powerful control measures are implemented. The lorry centres have to use strategies to answer to these external threats which lead us to the two questions of this thesis: - What methods do the lorry centres use actively and which do they consider as the most important methods for fuel saving? - Are there any differences which methods small, medium and large centres considers as important? Purpose: The main purpose of this thesis is to examine which methods lorry centres use actively and which they consider as important for fuel saving.

This thesis explores the narrow spaces between closely built houses in the over 300-year-old wooden town center of Mariestad, Sweden, and their potential as time capsules and sources of knowledge in cultural-historical building investigations. By interpreting well-preserved carpentry work on a facade in one of these spaces, the study aims to provide an example of how these preserved spaces can serve as a source of knowledge and understanding of craftsmanship and the history of the place. The thesis also addresses the municipality of Mariestad's work with cultural heritage, as well as maps out more of these potentially interesting interstitial spaces. Old Swedish wooden towns possess a high degree of uniqueness both nationally and internationally; nevertheless, they are subjected to relatively significant threats of demolitions and substantial changes, often in the form of many smaller restorations or changes over a long period of time. The focus of the case study is a window from the 16th or 17th century and the facade's old, hand planed wooden cladding.

Bakgrund: På 1990-talet började hot och våld inom vården uppmärksammas vilket ledde till fler rapporter framkom inom området. Det finns dock fortfarande ett behov av att olika riskfaktorer som påverkar hot och vålds utbredning och konsekvenserna för sjuksköterskan. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa riskfaktor som finns gällande hot och våld gentemot sjuksköterskor på somatiska sjukhusavdelningar för vuxna samt sjuksköterskans hantering och eventuella konsekvenser av hot och våld. Metod: Resultatet bygger på 17 kvantitativa vetenskapliga artiklar som kritiskt genomlästs och granskats. Resultat: Resultatet visade att det fanns organisatoriska, patient- och sjuksköterskerelaterade riskfaktorer för hot och våld.

Bakgrund: Distriktssköterskor på BVC möter ibland våldutsatta kvinnor och deras barn i sitt arbete. Följder av våld i nära relationer kan vara försämrad psykosocial hälsa både hos kvinnor och barn. Att tidigt upptäcka och hjälpa en sådan kvinna och hennes barn är ett viktigt uppdrag som distriktssköterskan har på BVC. Syftet med studien var att undersöka distriktssköterskornas upplevelser av möten med våldutsatta kvinnor och deras barn på BVC samt ta reda på vad som saknas kunskaps- och metodmässigt i deras arbete när det gäller att hjälpa denna patientkategori.Metod: Sju distriktssköterskor på BVC intervjuades och kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes för att analysera data. Resultat: Intervjuinnehållet delades i fyra huvudkategorier och sexton underkategorier.
