Denna rapport jämför två nätverksarkitekturer för artificiella neurala nätverk vars uppgift är att realisera ett styrsystem för ett fordon som det även skall lära sig att styra. Jämförelsen bygger på utförda experiment där de båda nätverken fick lära sig att styra ett fordon längs en slumpgenererad väg. Båda nätverken bygger på belöningsbaserad inlärning för att lära sig lösa uppgiften.Resultatet av utvärderingen visar både att nätverken inte hade några problem med att lära sig att styra fordonet och att de inte krävde lång tid för att kunna lära sig hur fordonet skulle styras. Resultaten visar inte heller att någon skillnad fanns i vare sig tillförlitlighet eller generaliseringsförmåga hos de båda nätverksarkitekturerna..

Denna studie undersöker hur antalet konjunktionsfel påverkas av feedback av varierande komplexitet. Ett konjunktionsfel uppstår när en sammansatt händelse A&B bedöms som mer sannolik än någon av de ingående händelserna A eller B. Ett datorbaserat experiment med 45 deltagare fördelade på tre betingelser (Singel, Trippel, Mix) kördes. I en träningsfas bedömde deltagarna utgången på spelkuponger innehållande en fotbollsmatch (Singel), tre fotbollsmatcher (Trippel) eller både en och tre fotbollsmatcher (Mix) och fick feedback på bedömningarna. I en testfas gjorde alla deltagarna bedömningar av sannolikheten för vinst på spelkuponger med en eller tre fotbollsmatcher.

In this project an iPhone application for storing food and drink experiences was developed with focus on an easy interaction design. The already existing market of similar applications were studied and evaluated to extract their positive and negative features. Interviews with experts within the food and drink business where made in the pre study to get a good perception of how to divide and categorize the sections in the application. To optimize the usability, workshops with potential users with different technical experiences where continuously held during the development of the design.During the development two variants of development environments where evaluated. The final result of the application was developed in the environment that made the best impression and seemed to be the best alternative.The resulting product has a thought out design meant to be easy to understand, even for the first time users.

AbstractThe purpose of the study was to examine if manual signs used as support to spoken and written language can be a god mnemonic for learning of word-pictures. I performed my study as an experiment in which I made a Memory game with word-pictures. I played the game with the children twice. The first time, we played without manual signs and the second time I used sign as a support. I observed the children and noted the words they learned to read with and without the support of manual signs.

The impact of the distribution in the soil volume of two farm manures on the net mineralization and immobilization processes of nitrogen were studied in an incubation experiment. Cattle slurry and broiler litter were placed in the soil with three procedures for incorporation including placement on top of the soil (TOP), in the middle of the soil (MID) and mixed homogenously with the soil (MIX). During the two weeks of incubation, few significant differences in net mineralization were seen between TOP, MID and MIX. However, there was a tendency that MIX led to a larger net immobilization of N than placement at one point (TOP and MID). This is also the result in the literature.

In what way were children in the 1930s and 1940s mean to each other, in which ways did theytease and bully one another? In the answers given to us,by a survey in which 42 persons born in the 1920s and 1930s were asked, we have learned,that during the 1930s and 1940s when these children went to school, bullying did'nt occure asmuch. Not as they can remember today.We have also learned that it was mostly boys who were bullied, both mentaly and physical,with punches, being pushed, being laughed at and by being forced to do things they did notwant to do, such as stealing.The most common reasons for being bullied was that the children came from poor families,had ragged clothes, where dirty or had a physical disease such as cronical bronchitis.There where not many children who talked about being bullied with a teacher and the surveytells us that they didn't had any supervisors on the school yard.A number of the questioned answered that they thought that teachers had favourite students inthe classroom and they tell us stories in which teachers used corporal punishment, which waslegal at this time..

Current technology offers many possibilities for remotecommunication. Nevertheless, people with cognitive and communicativedisabilities have limited access to common communication technology like textmessaging via a mobile phone. This study is part of the project Text messagingwith picture symbols - a possibility for AAC users and people with cognitiveimpairments. Semi structured interviews were used to investigate three menand four women?s experiences of using Windows mobiles with adaptedfunctions for text messaging.

On Ericsson Ltd in Borås a wireless communication system called MINI-LINK? is produced. In order to sell their product with the best possible quality guaranty, there is a signal processing circuit called ATLAS implemented in the system. The purpose of this study was to describe, understand and analyze the thought behind the perception amongst pedagogues´ on multicultural work in preschools, based on an intercultural perspective. In this study, I questioned the pedagogues´ view on the work in preschools that prepares children for a life in a multicultural society and also the way they describe the cultural challenges.The study was accomplished and questions were answered by studying current literature and previous research in the field. I also interviewed four pedagogues from two different preschools located in separate areas.This study shows that many opinions that pedagogues expressed in the interviews can be traced back to an ?us vs. them? perspective, in which your own culture, the Swedish one in this case, is the most critical and should receive the greatest attention in preschool.

Att koppla samman nätverk över geografiskt olika platser har blivit allt vanligare i dagens samhälle. Rapporten kommer belysa olika WAN-lösningar för att göra detta möjligt. De olika lösningar som kommer belysas i denna rapport är att hyra egen fiber, lager2-länk, MPLS och även VPN. Det kommer göras jämförelser mellan dessa lösningar när det gäller kostnad, säkerhet, hastighet och tillförlitlighet. Detta har gjorts med vetenskapliga artiklar och intervjuer men rapporten innefattar även en praktisk tillämpling i form av ett experiment..
