This thesis deals with the legislative problem of thin and thick capitalization of subsidiary companies situated abroad. This kind of companies are often used for tax planning purposes, as means for transferring company profit from a high tax state to a low tax state. Today, the legislative flora around the world mainly focuses on the question"how low/high can the capitalization level of the company be, before thin/thick capitalization can be considered to be at hand?". Instead, this thesis raises the question"how far from the optimal capitalization rate is a probable capitalization level for a company, and can this be an alternative approach to legislation?".

I litteraturgenomgången framställs forskares syn på hur lärare bör/ska använda film/tv-program i undervisningen. De som själva är lärare använder sig regelbundet av film/tv-program i sin undervisning och denna användning studeras. Uppsatsen berör också upphovsrätten och ger en kort sammanfattning av vad lagen säger om användning av film/tv-program i skolan. Uppsatsens empiriska del utgår från en enkätundersökning bland yrkesverksamma lärare.

Syftet med vår undersökning är att se hur lärare förhåller sig till filmens roll i undervisningen. Vi intresserar oss av hur valet av film sker och hur eventuell filmvisning efterarbetas i klassrummet. Dessutom vill vi veta i vilken utsträckning elever får producera egen film. Frågeställningarna besvaras med hjälp av empirisk insamling från intervjuer som sex svensklärare från tre olika skolor deltog i. Resultatet pekar på att lärare har en positiv inställning till användandet av film i undervisningen men att svenskämnet stödjer sig på traditionell litteratur.

The non-linear film - a film telling a story using a reversed or scrambled chronology - has existed since the late 20?s, but just recently gained huge influence and popularity due to films such as Quentin Tarantinos cult-declared Pulp Fiction. In this essay I will analyze this form of narrative, and more specifically; how it?s used in my example film Memento. In my examination, I have seen the original version of the film, and then a re-cut version where the story is ?turned over? to form a ?normal?, linear narrative.

The aim of this paper is to examine which attitudes and experiences teachers have around the wide text concept, which is found in the course plan for the Swedish subject, and to find out which function films have in their teaching. The starting point of the paper?s theoretical part is the Swedish subject?s course plans and current research concerning the wide text concept and film in teaching. In order to achieve the formulated aim, qualitative interviews have been performed with three Swedish teachers active in the later years of compulsory-school.The result shows that there are divided opinions of the actual meaning of the concept. However the three teachers agree that film has something to enrich the teaching of the Swedish language and they are for most part positive to using film in their teaching.
