This bachelor thesis has the purpose to visualize and document the air movementsprovided by different ventilation principles in an operating theatre. The visualizationwill be made as simple as possible in a physical model. My purpose with this thesis has been to find out how to choreograph a fight sequence in ananimated movie. With the help of professional stuntmen and dancers, I have tried to findmethods and techniques used on stage and in live-action film and apply those to animatedfilms. To successfully identify the techniques used, I conducted a number of interviews andanalyzed literature that deals with the subject of fight choreography. By the analysis of themethods provided by the choreographers and selected parts of the literature, I have compiled anumber of steps I recommend 3D animators should to take in their efforts to create their ownfight choreography..

This diploma work, with the title Represent and Consume the Land ?I drove following the picture of a spruce through Sweden, is presented as a film and an essay and the aim is to explore the perception of an individual with the film as the medium. To reach this, it is necessary to destabilize my own reality, to explore myself at the same time as I study landscapes and representations of landscapes. The diploma work focus on representations of landscapes of Sweden, external pictures and internal images. The picture is a very strong medium that holds and comunicate myths, about the landscape and about the nation.

AbstractIn this study you are going to meet the Nordic Good Thor. I will present a short historic presentation of the Nordic mythology, about the Ragnarok and also I will give a short presentation on several other Gods. I have done three film analyses on movies about Thor. The movies are Thor, The Avengers and Thor- the Dark World. I have compared these three movies about Thor with the Thor that is presented in the literature. I have seen closely on the appearance of Thor, his character and his family situations.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att se hur filmen Emil i Lönneberga kan användas som ett multimodalt verktyg i undervisningen för att öka elevers läsförståelse. Genom en jämförande och kvalitativ analys vill vi belysa möjligheterna och svårigheterna med att använda sig av enbart bok eller film i undervisningen. Efter en grundlig analys av såväl forskningsrapporter, tidigare forskning och kurslitteratur har vi kommit fram till att både ovana och vana läsare gynnas av att se en film och läsa en bok som en kombination.  .

Ambitionen med mitt arbete var att skapa en vacker och intressant 3d-animation med den senaste datortekniken. Animationen bygger på redan befintliga skisser, idéer och material som jag har skapat de senaste två åren och ville avsluta i mitt kandidatarbete. Med detta arbete ville jag få mer förståelse för 3d-tekniken som ett konstverktyg och lära mig mer om hur man skapar grafik. Jag ville även öka min estetiska förmåga och kunskap. Genom att använda mig av grafikprogrammet ?Lightwave 3D? plus diverse andra applikationer som behandlar datorgrafik har jag skapat min film.

ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to illustrate how surgical operation theatre nurses perceive debriefing within emergency health care. The study has a qualitative design with semi structured interviews that have been performed with seven operating room nurses working in emergency health care. The strategic selection consists of professional operation theatre nurses working in emergency care at Uppsala University Hospital. The main goal of this thesis is to increase the understanding of debriefing and to highlight the need of debriefing after difficult or unexpected events in the emergency health care profession.The interviewed nurses perceive debriefing as an important way to develop the day to day work, but also as a way to unburden the staff at the time of bigger traumas. Even though the effect of debriefing is not univocally positive in the literature, the staff perceives that it reduces different kinds of stress.

Förändringen innefattar även ett skifte i fokus, från en webbsida med fokus på företaget Ligistfilm till en webbsida med fokus på individuella regissörer. Användartester som utförts visar hur Ligistfilm uppfattas utifrån den gamla webbsidan jämfört med den nya webbsidan tillsammans med presentationsfilmen..

Syfte: Mitt syfte med denna uppsats är att undersöka vad som händer med en bok när den överförs till film. Min huvudfråga i detta arbete är att, genom att jämföra boken Harry Potter och de vises sten med filmen, ta reda på om någonting, och i så fall vad som har förändrats när boken blev film. De frågor jag ställer mig för att kunna besvara syftet är: Hur långa är kapitlen i boken (antal sidor) och i filmen (antal minuter och klipp)? Vad från boken finns inte med i filmen? Vad har man valt att inte ha med? Vad har man lagt till i filmen? Vilka sekvenser? Är det någonting man har ändrat vid överföringen från boken och i så fall vad? Metod: Jag kommer i denna uppsats att använda mig av en kvalitativ metod. Syftet med en sådan är att skaffa sig en djupare kunskap än den man får genom till exempel kvantitativa analyser.

Scholarly research on comical popular theatre is rare in the Swedish context even though the genre has attracted large audiences throughout the 20th century. Nils Poppe is one of the greatest Swedish actors in the comical genre and he is famous for his playful acting style. With my Master?s dissertation I aim to shed some light on both the genre and this great actor. Another aim of this Master?s dissertation is to gain understanding of what causes the audience?s laughter experiencing Nils Poppe?s comical acting.

The objective with this essay is to establish the benefits of inserting media as an obligatory topic in the upper secondary school. In order to succeed with this I will not only type this essay I will also produce a medial production in the form of a film.  I have interviewed two senior masters on Södertörns College where I have reviewed different questions that relate to the matter's weight in school values and the society. In the study I will also reflect over existing research within the area and to link these to the issue and those interviewed opinions. This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.
