In autumn of 2021, the anthology A Bridge of Poetry was given to all six-year-olds in Sweden. The anthology contains both older and contemporary poetry, as well as both children?s poetry and poetry written for experienced readers. The idea is that, with the help of an adult, texts and images, and in some cases short movies, will together stimulate children?s thoughts and initiate conversations, as well as arousing children?s curiosity about poetry.

The aim of the study was to investigate how teachers work with reading aloud. The aim also included examining their ideas about and motives for reading aloud. The study consisted of interviews with three teachers at the lower level of compulsory school along with observation of one of these teachers during a reading aloud session. The interviewed teachers work at three different schools in the same geographical area.The analytical tools chosen for the study were the theories of Rosenblatt. ?I den här studien undersöks sambandet mellan motorik och lärande. Syftet är att teoretiskt och empiriskt få ökad förståelse för hur elevers motoriska utveckling påverkar lärande. Studien utförs med hjälp av litteraturstudie och lärarintervjuer. Mina frågeställningar är:Hur utvecklar barn sin motorik? Vad betyder motorik för lärandet? Hur arbetar förskolelärare och klasslärare med motorik?Lärare har en viktig uppgift att arbeta med motorik både i förskolan och i skolan för att barnen ska utveckla sin motorik.

The aim of this essay is to investigate whether the role of the teacher and the teaching in the classroom is affected when the Ipad is introduced in an one-to-one situation, and if so how these effects occur. Previous research show that the introduction of new technology in education offers hope of a more effective way of learning but that this at the same time leads to challenges for traditional ways of teaching and traditional views on knowledge (Säljö & Linderoth (red.) 2009, Erixon (red.) 2014).The method used is a qualitative interview in combination with observations used as a complement to the interviews. Four teachers working on an upper secondary school have been interviewed and one lesson in English taught as a foreign language and one lesson in social science have been observed.The results show that the use of Ipad changes how the teachers relate to and use the teaching material, as all material can be gathered in the Ipad and accessed at all times and can also be shared with the pupils. The Ipad also makes it easier for the teachers to offer pupils individual instructions which the teachers view as positive. In addition, the Ipad enables a change in regards to the pupils as they switch from being users to becoming producers in the use of the Ipad which in the teachers? opinions offers more profound ways of learning..

Utifrån min ansats, att stor del av matematikundervisningen går att bedriva med hjälp av problembaserad undervisning. I sådan undervisning menar jag att eleverna ges möjlighet att prova sina egna teorier vid lösning av ett problem, i både individuella och gemensamma uppgifter, samt ges de möjlighet att ta del av andras teorier.  Jag vill med hjälp av variationsteorin ta tillvara på spridningen av elevernas olika lösningar av problem inom matematik. Syftet med arbetet är att identifiera de kritiska aspekterna utifrån lärandets objekt och tillrättalägga undervisningen mot det. I detta arbete har jag valt elevers svaga förståelse för uträkningar inom de fyra räknesätten i textuppgifter som lärandets objekt.Tjugotvå elever har intervjuats utifrån ett problem taget från NCMs Känguruproblem, Ecolier 2012. Learning study och variationsteorin utgör studiens teoretiska utgångspunkt och har använts för att analysera materialet.Studiens resultat har visat att eleverna får en ökad förståelse för lärandets objekt om lektionerna riktar sig mot de kritiska aspekterna..

Non-compulsory schools in Sweden should make use of the knowledge and experience that is available in society according to the aims and objectives of the Curriculum for the Non-Compulsory School System - Lpf 94. There are however only a few studies which have focused on the contacts between non-compulsory schools and society as represented by the business world in Sweden.The purpose of this study is to examine in what ways and to what extent non-compulsory schools are following the Curriculum by using the knowledge and experience of the business world. The perspectives have been: Which contacts in the business world and which working practices from the business world are implemented in teaching in non-compulsory schools? In what way do these contacts and working practices affect the teaching and learning of business administration? The purpose of this study is also to examine if the teachers in non-compulsory schools use business information and different kinds of business knowledge and experiences in order to keep themselves up-to-date regarding the business world. The perspectives have been: Are the teachers using up-to-date business information or business experience? Are the teachers applying a multicultural perspective in teaching business studies? In what way does this kind of information or first-hand experience affect the teaching and learning of business administration?The method used in this study was to interview seven teachers from two non-compulsory schools in Stockholm.

Syftet med denna studie är att knyta an till Högskolan i Gävles riktlinjer för ett examensarbete, undersöka betydelsen av visualisering på en arbetsplats samt kartlägga en pedagogs uppfattningar av dennes tankar med hjälp av datorprogrammet Complador. Någon tidigare forskning har inte funnits inom detta område, vilket gjorde att ett intresse väcktes hos författarna. Studien bygger på litteraturstudier samt intervjuer. För att få svar på visualiseringens betydelse valdes intervjuer med en rektor samt tre pedagoger, kartläggning av en pedagogs uppfattningar gjordes via Complador vilket ledde till resultatet i denna studie. Intervjuerna visar på att visualisering har en stor betydelse både för pedagogerna själva samt deras dagliga arbete, både som kollega och klasslärare.

In this thesis we study what happens to the Lanczos potential at spacelike infinity in such spacetimes. By transformations of the Weyl-Lanczos equation, we derive expressions for the limiting equations on both the timelike unit hyperboloid, and the timelike unit cylinder. The purpose of this study is to explore the possibilities for children?s librarians to extend their competence in the area of reading promotion. The study is carried out within an ongoing reading promotion project directed towards small children from 0-7 years. The study aims to answer the following questions: How do children?s librarians develop new skills in a reading promotion project? How do children?s librarians view a broadening of the concept of reading and how does their approach affect which skills that are acknowledged?The study is mainly based on qualitative interviews with five children´s librarians who all participate in the project.

The aim of this study is to investigate how employees in consulting companies develop their competence in order to perform their daily work. The focus is on informal competence development. The theoretical framework consists of theories concerning learning and competence development in working life, theories on organizational change and evaluation, a well as professional reflection. The methods applied are narrative research and interviews based on the assumption that knowledge about reality is only obtainable through language and communication.The main results show that competence is developed through experience, social interaction, communication and dialog with co-workers and customers. The post-modern conceptions of the rapid (technical) development and need to be up-to-date has a strong hold on the informants apprehension of working life, as does the notion of not having enough time for all the competence development they would like.

I den aktuella kommun där studien genomförts har stora satsningar gjorts på att fortbilda vårdpersonal i demensvård under många år. Trots detta har det visat sig att det finns svårigheter för vårdarna att omsätta kunskaperna i det vardagliga arbetet. Under 2005-2008 pågår Kompetensstegen, en stor nationell satsning för att förbättra vården och omsorgens inre kvalitet i äldreomsorgen. Jag ville därför med mitt examensarbete undersöka effekterna av en så stor utbildningssatsning. Syftet var att undersöka vårdpersonalens uppfattningar av lärandet och de nya kunskaper som de fått genom Kompetensstegens demensutbildningar och vilka möjligheter eller hinder som finns för ett fortsatt lärande efter utbildningen.

The essay is a discourse analysis of the media's attitudes toward computing. The aim is to compare what the media is really saying about the usage of tablets, computers and compare it to what the research is saying. In addition, it examines what the media says about socialization. We analyze the newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Expressen and will first compare these two together and see what attitudes that emerge, and then seek similarities and differences with the previous research and theories including socialization learning, attitudes and consumption. Conclusions we can draw is that Expressen has a more negative attitude towards the use of computers while the Dagens Nyheter has a more positive attitude, but is also more objective to what they write about.

Syftet med mitt examensarbete är att lyfta fram vad mobbning innebär. Vad är det som definierar mobbning, vilka utformningar den kan ha och varför det bara är vissa som blir mobbade. Min avsikt är även den att lyfta fram skolans ansvar gentemot mobbning. Hur kan man arbeta förebyggande samt vilka åtgärder finns det i skolan mot mobbning. Mina tre frågeställningar i mitt arbete är följande: ? Vad är mobbning? ? Hur kan mobbning förebyggas i skola? ? Vilka åtgärder inom skolan finns mot mobbning? Som hjälp till mitt arbete har jag använt mig av relevant fakta och litteratur.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect that price has on quality expectations and customer satisfaction and how price fits into a customer satisfaction model. An experiment in which participants are subject to scenarios of a high or low quality flight are used to test the hypotheses. The analysis shows that perceived quality has a bigger impact on satisfaction than price. Furthermore, price and quality do not affect customer satisfaction independently of each other. The importance of value compared to quality changes whether the actor is a high or low price actor.
