Uppsatsen behandlar hur barn uttrycker karaktärers känslor, tankar och intentioner i narrativer genom så kallade mentala tillståndstermer. Syftet med uppsatsen var att studera användningen av mentala tillståndstermer i narrativer av enspråkiga svensktalande barn samt tvåspråkiga svensk- och engelsktalande barn i åldrarna 5;8?7;9 år, och att undersöka om produktionen av mentala tillståndstermer påverkas av barns språk och språkstatus. Genom kvantitativa och kvalitativa analyser av 100 redan insamlade och transkriberade narrativer, framgick att det fanns en individuell variation i den totala användningen av mentala tillståndstermer, vilket troligtvis hade större påverkan på barnens produktion av mentala tillståndstermer än språk och språkstatus. Vidare tydliggjordes att mentala tillståndstermer hade specifika funktioner i narrativer.

The study is a literature review supplemented by two field studies.

With help from Toril Moi?s method ? which she calls personal genealogy ? as a standpoint I have read Beauvoir?s autobiography Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter with and against her essay about women, The Second Sex.The genealogy tries to understand the term ?making? and the idea of production or construction and the personal genealogy sees the subject ? the person ? as an extraordinarily complex effect of a whole network of different discourses or determinants. In order to be able to understand Beauvoir?s view on motherhood I have read her philosophy with and against the feminist philosopher Ulla M.

This work is done to try to solve a scientific computer problem and its basis derived from the web, as there are a variety of ways to program to it. The most common languages used by developers, both private and corporate are PHP, .NET and Ruby. But why do companies or a private developer choose a specific programming language? Is it because it is better and has more features than the others, or because they are forced? This essay uses a questionnaire and through tests sees which is best and which one is the most popular/used. To illustrate the problem, a survey is conducted and sent to several companies and asked them to answer the questions regarding the issue.

Kroppsmissnöje är mer utbrett hos kvinnor än hos män visar tidigare studier (Feingold & Mazzella, 1998) men även män börjar bli kroppsmissnöjda (Cash, Morrow, Hrabosky & Perry, 2004). Detta undersöktes tillsammans med självkänsla och kroppsjämförelse hos män och kvinnor och även de som har partner eller är singlar i ljuset av Social Comparison Theory och Cognitive Dissonance Theory. 133 personer testades med Body-Esteem scale, Figure Drawing Rating Scale, Self-esteem Scale och Universalistic Social Comparison Scale. Resultatet indikerar att båda könen är relativt nöjda men kvinnorna är något mindre nöjda med utseendet med sin kropp. Studien visar även att kvinnors idealbild är en smalare kropp medan männens idealbild är en muskulösare kropp.

To strengthen the computer security there are several biometric methods for identity verification which are based on the human body?s unique characteristics and behavior including fingerprints, face recognition, retina scan and signatures.

In recent decades, project based work form has taken a dominant role of work for many companies. Developments in the field have progressed rapidly and research has contributed to more efficient working practices. This study describes the elements that a project manager should keep in mind when he leads a project without actually being physically present, complex factors occurred and the basic approach to encounter them. The aim of this report is to examine factors that arise in the context of coordination at a distance and how companies, in their daily work, surpass these obstacles. The study does not include cultural differences, time zone differences and language differences, all very common in project management at distance.

The essay contains a study of thekimono with a strict delimitation towards four symbolic wearers, the subject is thenfurther discussed in relation to the different kind of installations at exhibits. In the fourthpart of the essay two educational study visits will function as a supplementary study forthe litterature studies meantioned earlier.

The purpose of this essay is to study if and how five South African educators work with music as a special pedagogical tool in children's language development. To achieve the purpose of this study, two research questions were created. As method, interviews of a qualitative character were chosen.  The aim of the method is to give the educators the opportunity to think about and use their own experience before answering the questions.The result shows that the South African educators are not using music as a special educational tool. They rather use music as an everyday educational tool to promote children's language development. The result indicates that music in educational activities promotes children?s communication with each other.

Syftet med föreliggande uppsats var dels att få förståelse för hur lärare respektive specialpedagoger ser på barn i socioemotionella svårigheter, dels att undersöka om socioemotionella svårigheter kan leda till problem i interaktionen med den övriga barngruppen. Vi ville också belysa om samverkan mellan hem och skola är en förutsättning för att komma till rätta med elevens problem.För att kunna nå denna förståelse har vi använt oss av kvalitativ intervju. Vi intervjuade tre lärare respektive tre specialpedagoger på två skolor. Forskningsfrågorna i uppsatsen är:Hur ser lärare respektive specialpedagoger på elever i socioemotionella svårigheter?Kan elevers socioemotionella svårigheter leda till problem i interaktionen med den övriga barngruppen? Hur ser samverkan ut mellan hem och skola avseende elever i socioemotionella svårigheter?Vårt resultat visar att synen som lärare respektive specialpedagoger har på barn i socioemotionella svårigheter är att det i första hand handlar om utagerande beteende.Vår undersökning visar också att barn i socioemotionella svårigheter har avsevärda problem i sin kommunikation och i samspelet med barn och vuxna.Intervjuresultatet visar vidare på hur viktigt det är med en god samverkan mellan hem och skola för att kunna komma till rätta med en elevs problem..

The function of budgetary controls is to control the resource allocation within companies. It can also be an instrument for measure and control subordinates and/or business units? performance (Van der Stede 2001). This paper concerns the latter; when the budgetary control function is used to measure and control subordinates performance based on budget. Previous research in this area has not yet accomplished to explain the effects of tight budgetary control which Hartman (2000) considers as the main issue to be concerned about in management accounting research.Previous research has presented contradictory findings regarding tight budgetary control explained by positive effects as well as negative effects during the last decades.

Every year an avorage of 40 000 Swedes fall ill with different forms of cancer. Chemotheraphy has an effect on the tumour cells as well as the healthy cells in the body, this causes many side effects which can be very problematic for the patient. The study was carried out in order to indicate the care measures that are taken to deal with the side effects i. e stomatit, loss of hair and sickness/vomiting, that are connected with chemotheraphy so that the outpatients will experience a quality of life. The method used was a qualitative interview with six nurses from the South if Sweden, all of whom are working with chemotheraphy patients.
