The share of problem gamblers increased for men between 18-24 years old during the period 1999-2009, while the share were steady or decreased for other classes of population. This study examines the relation between this development of problem gambling and the Swedish gambling market. The factors that are studied are the functioning of the market with a focus on the new Internet market for gambling, the games and the underlying risk factors in those, the marketing and other factors outside the gambling market. First a large literature review was made to map the development as detailed as possible. After that a qualitative analysis of the content in television commercials was done to see if they were made for the problem group.

The purpose of this thesis is to through brand communication and Red Bull?simage examine how they position themselves as leaders on the Swedish energydrink market. We chose relevant theories within buzz marketing, word ofmouth, sampling and events. Our method of preference was quantitativequestionnaires which we spred through email to students at the LinneausUniversity and other social networks such as Facebook and blogs. Our empiricalstudy is based on our questionnaires and information about Red Bull.

I denna studie analyseras Göteborgs kommuns miljödiplomeringsmodell, dess tillämpning,problem och möjligheter. Syftet var att studera vad företag och revisorer accentuerar på, vilka problem och brister som förekommer samt hur miljöprestanda och miljökommunikation uppfattas i certifierade respektive diplomerade företag. Ett annat syfte var att studera vilka orsakerna är bakom att en del diplomerade företag hoppar av sitt diplom och andra avvaktar med att diplomera verksamheten..

The aim with this paper is to investigate how the Social Democratic Party (SAP) deals with the question of economic migrants, or more specifically how the problem is represented by the Social Democratic Party, and how this representation has developed over time. The SAP's theory became recently contested by a competing theory that was caused by the predicted future demographic development in Sweden, combined with the EU's eastern expansion. The first factor contributed to the re-write of the theory, to a theory that saw economic migrants as a solution instead of a problem, in direct contrast to SAP's theory. The second factor was a direct threat to SAP's labour immigration policy. This leads to my second question, how did SAP respond to this pressure?The answers to these questions are achieved by using discourse analysis by applying a problem oriented theory on empirical material, constituting propositions, articles in mass media and parliamentary debates.

Under vårt sista år var vi intresserade av att ta reda på de problem som vi kan stöta på i våra yrkesroller som fartygsingenjörer. Arbetet tar upp de tekniska problem som uppstår p.g.a. de allt strängare kraven på minskade svavelutsläpp från fartyg. De tekniska problemen härstammar från de olika bränslekvaliteternas vitt skilda egenskaper. Som svar på dessa problem har det utvecklats tekniska lösningar varav två stycken har tagits upp i detta arbete.För att ta reda på vilka tekniska problem som kan uppstå tog vi del av den berörda utrustningens tillverkares erfarenheter enligt empirisk modell.

Proteins are vital to all cells in the body. They consist of long chains of amino acids. To be able to study the amino acid composition of a protein it is necessary to hydrolyse it, followed by separation and quantification. When the protein is hydrolysed, in this case ß-lactoglobulin, the protein is divided into individual amino acids. The method that traditionally has been used to hydrolyse proteins takes 24-72 hours to complete.

Mammary tumors are the most frequent type of tumors in bitches in Sweden. Many studies have been published concerning mammary tumors, but there is still much to be learned about this disease. One has, since some time ago, had the knowledge that addition to or removal of methyl groups to genes can inhibit or activate gene-expression. Methylation and demethylation is a normal phenomenon in the body and it is essential for the development and survival of the individual. The risk of developing a tumor disease is increased if the global methylationstatus is changed; if oncogenes demethylates (activates) or if tumor suppressor genes methylates (inactivates). In the human medicine one has seen that there are differences in methylationstatus between different tumors. In this study tumor and normal tissue from ten dogs were examined with regard to methylationstatus.

Background: Nursing staff use touch on a daily basis, often without reflecting over it. It is not only the touch itself that emerges, everyday nursing staff get involved in the meeting with patients. The use of touch can be divided in to different kinds of touch, due to its purpose these are instrumental- and expressive touch. Purpose: The purpose with the study was to illustrate what physical touch means for the meeting between patient and caregiver. Method: A literature review has been done, based on ten scientific articles and by these four domains emerged.

Abstract: When playing in teams, communication is important, not just communication with words but also non-verbal communication such as gestures and body languish. The purpose with this study is to see how there is a co-op among communicating players , between leaders and players and to examine what meaning communication and culture got  in a youth team. The ambition with this study was to increase our knowledge about communication and communicationculture in the youth floorball team. This study is qualitative and was inspired by an ethnographical method so we got the information from observations of a youth floorball team, totally we made four observations. The result were analyzed and categorized from our observation papers.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att vårda patienter med psykiatriska problem på en akutvårdsavdelning i södra Sverige. Tidigare forskning finns om sjuksköterskans attityder till att vårda patienter med psykiatriska problem, men kunskapen om sjuksköterskans faktiska upplevelse av att vårda denna patientgrupp är mindre studerad. I studien är det sjuksköterskans egen definition av vad som är ett psykiatriskt problem som ligger till grund för resultatet. Sex intervjuer har genomförts och transkriberats ordagrant. Materialet har analyserats med kvalitativ innehållsanalys inspirerad av Graneheim och Lundman (2004).

Stress är nu ett av Sveriges största folkhälsoproblem. Många lider av stress och stressrelaterade sjukdomar/besvär. En ökande andel av patienter som söker vård hos sjukgymnast har stressrelaterade kroppsliga symtom. Basal Kroppskännedom (BK) är en behandlingsmetod som används för att minska lidandet av stress. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka erfarenheter som finns dokumenterade i vetenskapliga publikationer om BK-behandling vid stress och stressrelaterade sjukdomar/besvär.

Piglet survival is of importance because it affects the farmer?s economy and the welfare of the pigs. There are several factors affecting piglet survival and they are often linked to each other. This paper will focus on how the behaviour of the sow can affect the growth and survival of the piglets and also possible causations of differences in maternal behaviour. Sows in intensive production systems have different possibilities to express their maternal behaviour than free ranging sows.

Matematiskproblemlösning blir en större och viktigare del av matematikundervisningen närtekniska hjälpmedel, som miniräknare och datorer, kan utföra många beräkningar.Undersökningens syfte är att se hur gymnasieelever löser matematiska problem. Vilka faktorer som påverkar vid problemlösning samt vilka moment eleverna har svårt för. Undersökningen genomfördes på en gymnasieskola I Halmstad där atta elever med varierande matematikkunskaper löste fyra problem och ingående redogjorde för hur de tänkte och gick tillväga. Teorikapitlet tar upp olika matematikdidaktikers syn på problemlösning, modeller för hur problemlösning går till och faktorer elever besitter som påverkar möjligheten att lösa problem. Jag har med hjälp av dessa modeller och påverkansfaktorer analyserat elevernalösningar enligt en modell bestående av tre delar: Identifiering, genomförande och kontroll av uppgiften.

Fo?r att underso?ka detta har jag under en femveckorsperiod o?vat pa? ett marimbastycke 20 minuter om dagen fem dagar i veckan och dokumenterat detta genom videoobservationer och loggboksskrivande. I analysen utga?r jag ifra?n ett designteoretiskt perspektiv.

The aim with this thesis was to investigate how the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet construct and reproduce imaginations of gender and gender order. An important premise for our work is the agenda theory, which states that media has great impact on what is on their audience mind. We chose to investigate how Aftonbladet wrote about two Swedish footballers, Lotta Schelin and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, during a European championship with each players national team. By using a method of critical discourse analysis based on Teun van Dijks idea and with gender glasses, we analysed eight articles and two chronicles regarding each player.Our results show that Aftonbladet construct and reproduce gender and gender order by its different ways of portraying Lotta Schelin and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Articles regarding Lotta Schelin tend to be more audience oriented, focus more on her and her teammates emotions and more often focus on things outside her profession as a footballer.
