Syftet med studien är att definiera musikaliska redskap och plattformar för studenter i ämnet improvisation på eftergymnasial nivå. Mitt intresse för ämnet ligger i de positiva möjligheter improvisationen erbjuder vår undervisning och är utgångspunkten för detta arbete. Jag upplever att forskning som inriktar sig på improvisationsundervisningens didaktik för ensemble på högre nivå med fördel kan utökas från vad vi idag har att tillgå, därav utgår studien från ett didaktiskt perspektiv på undervisning. För att söka svar på mina frågor har jag använt mig av den kvalitativa forskningsintervjun i mötet med mina informanter. De fyra utvalda musiklärarna har alla undervisat improvisation i ensembleformat, de flesta med inriktning mot rytmisk och improviserad musik. I resultatet presenteras bland annat en syn hos de intervjuade musiklärarna som visar på vikten av ett personligt och ärligt musikutövande där den instrumentaltekniska färdigheten först får liv och mening då studenten har en konstnärlig åsikt att förmedla. Sedan diskuteras bland annat lärarnas kompetens som improvisationspedagoger i relation till Hanken och Johansens (1998) musikdidaktiska utgångspunkter, samt ämnets möjliga utveckling och framtida undervisningsstruktur..

The main purpose of this paper is to examine how students in school year nine in the Swedish school come in contact with history outside of the school context. The paper also focuses on, if and how the students consider the contact with history as something different than, or similar to the history education that takes place during school hours, the student´s interest in history will also be examined. To gather the student?s opinions on these subjects, I have done interviews with eight students divided into two groups, with one group consisting of four girls and one group with two boys and two girls. The interviews took place at the students school located in a smaller city in Värmlands län, Sweden.

This essay examines the possibilities for the use of ICT for learning in the subject of history. By interviewing history teachers in upper secondary school about their experiences and thoughts regarding the subjects of learning, history and ICT, as well as the relations there between, based on Mishra and Koehlers TPACK model, I come to the conclusion that ICT may enhance learning in history. I also conclude that ICT may create new learning environments in history, where knowledge may or may not grow.The more unique ways of using ICT in history, compared to other school subjects, appears to be the possibility of using a variety of new sources, for example digitized primary sources from archives, that perhaps will motivate students, and make it possible to work from a con- structivistic point of view in history.Other unique possibilities are to satisfy the need of concretizing and visualizing the history being taught, by using a broad range of different media when presenting it. .

Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka vad en erfaren improvisationsmusiker, Joakim Milder, anser vara betydelsefullt för att bli en god musiker och improvisatör. Resultaten kopplas till relevant litteratur och egna erfarenheter inom området. Arbetet grundas på en kvalitativ intervju med Joakim Milder och tar upp praktiska, mentala och andliga aspekter. Jag har kommit fram till att det handlar om att inte stå i vägen för musiken, det vill säga: målet är att uppnå en sådan nivå musikaliskt, teoretiskt, gehörsmässigt och mentalt, att man upplever total frihet att uttrycka sig konstnärligt på det sätt man önskar. En öppen, nyfiken attityd och ett intresse för improvisation underlättar lärandet.

The aim of this thesis is to examine how the history of mathematics can be used in teaching and whether pupils? attitudes to mathematics can be affected by this. In order to do this a school project about the history of mathematics is planned, implemented and analysed.The following questions are addressed:? Why use the history of mathematics in teaching?? How can the history of mathematics be used in teaching?? Can a historical perspective in teaching affect pupils? views on mathematics?The school curriculum emphasizes the importance of history in teaching. Literature, scientific articles and government inquiries call attention to the positive effects of including a historical perspective in teaching.The school project, which underlies this thesis, is put to practice by 25 pupils in a mathematics science profile class.

A new curriculum, entailing news for teachers as well as students, was implemented in 2011. Among other things History has been given a more prominent position in that every student will now study the subject. The subject for this thesis is to analyze the Swedish political the Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna) through the use of history theories. The catchphrase this project has been; the boundaries between ornamentation and improvisation are fluid.My aim was to focus on my work process, giving me the space and time so develop my design further regarding shape, color and combination of different styles in patterns.This is an explorative project where patterns were created without a predetermined product of which the patterns would be applied. In a later stage the character of the pattern determined which product that would be most suitable for application.It resulted in a collection of patterns for wallpaper and clothing. The motives are foxes, geometrical shapes and squares from a notebook. These motives form an ornamental expression in the patterns with the purpose of embellishment and therefore increase the emotional value of the product..

The use of history is the concept of people using and analyzing history in the society for various purposes. Study in this area has largely emerged because there are many different reasons for people and societies to be interested in history. To investigate the use of history, a historical material needs to be present in some form. With this study, I intend to show how older tourist guidebooks can provide such materials of study and therefore I use travel guidebooks about Tallinn released under the USSR (Estonian SSR) between the years 1960 to 1990. The analysis is based on Klas-Go?ran Karlsson's (Professor of History) typology of seven different uses of history: scientific, existential, moral, ideological, political, educational, non-use of history and a commercial use of history.
