C-uppsats 2009.I denna uppsats visas hur vedertagna filmmusikaliska grepp för att förmedla känslorna skräck och romantik, i betydelsen lycklig kärlek, kan användas i tre musikallåtar. De antaget romantiska respektive skrämmande All I ask of you och The Phantom of the Opera från Andrew Lloyd Webbers Fantomen på Operan utgör undersökningens grund.

Jag beskriver mitt arbete med två barn med hjärnskada och deras utveckling med FMT som stöd. Frågan jag ställde mig var om FMT stämmer med Svenska Kyrkans uppdrag. Min slutsats är att FMT har en plats i Svenska Kyrkans verksamhet och stämmer helt med Svenska Kyrkans uppdrag/Diakoni..

Stockholms nya opera är placerad på Frihamnspiren, den mest spektakulära platsen i hela Värtahamnen. I det här läget så ser man operan, nästan helt omgiven av vatten i vyn från Lidingöbron. Norra Djurgårdsstaden och Värtahamnen kommer att behöva ett landmärke för att verkligen bli ett resmål för alla medborgare. Området kommer att bli ett mycket attraktivt och aktivt område med både bostäder och kontor, samtidigt som man kommer att behålla delar av färgetrafiken.På piren har jag behållt de inledande tegelmagasinen på vardera sida om vägen, och sedan fyllt på med nya byggnader med stödjande funktioner till operan, så som hotell, relaterade skolor m.m. Längre fram kommer man till en besöksparkering (även parkering under huset) och en småbåtshamn.

Uppsatsen undersöker hur en operakompositionsprocess kan se ut när arbetet grundar sig i det sceniska resultatet innan komponerandet av musiken påbörjats. I arbetet besvarar jag min frågeställning och kommer fram till betydelsefulla svar. En process jag inte riktigt visste vad jag skulle förvänta mig av men som i slutändan gav god skörd. En omvänd kompositionsprocess där musiken föds ur scenen mycket naturligare än det till en början kan förefalla kreatören..

I detta konstn?rliga arbete unders?ker jag nervositet i samband med min uppgift att vara praktikant och understudy i musikalen Flowers for Mrs Harris p? Wermland Opera. Med bakgrund i tv? planerade inhopp f?rs?ker jag ta reda p? om jag vid att skapa en strukturerad plan baserad p? strategier f?r att hantera stress kan minska min egen nervositet. Jag unders?ker ocks? vad jag kan l?ra mig och hur jag kan utvecklas som artist vid att ge nervositeten mer uppm?rksamhet.

The purpose of this essay was to find out whether the students, which had moved from the school of Gustaf Adolf to the school of Elineberg, had been integrated into their new environment. We chose to analyze the degree of integration concerning their schoolwork, how they interacted with the students from the new school, the school of Elineberg, and their level of wellbeing in their new school. We have used two methods, surveys and interviews, to be able to obtain the general picture of how the integration of the students has succeeded.Our conclusions are that the student has adapted well in their new school despite many obstacles along the way. Our essay shows that the students get along well with their new school friends during class, but they don´t socialise in their spear time. Although they seem to have accepted the closure of their old school some students express that they wish the school would be reopened.

The aim of this paper is to examine how the press describes the public and private role of the Swedish monarch in texts that report about the biography Carl XVI Gustaf ? den motvillige monarken (Sjöberg et al. 2010) when it is published in November 2010. The examined period ranges between the days just before the release and a fortnight after. The analysis is limited to standard Swedish papers: a daily, Svenska Dagbladet, and an evening paper, Expressen.Questions asked in the study are: In what ways do the analysed texts raise a discussion about the monarchy?s importance or function in the society of today, that is a public debate on the monarchy? To what extension are status symbols used in the constructing of royalty, that is what Jürgen Habermas (2003) describes as representative publicity? What similarities and differences are found when comparing the news articles in the daily and in the evening paper?The method used to answer the aim and questions is the critical discourse analysis, as Norman Fairclough (1995) describes it, and the theoretical perspective of the essay is Jürgen Habermas? (2003) theory about the bourgeois public sphere.The result shows that the news articles in the daily unsurprisingly construct only a public who wants to debate on the monarchy.

This thesis project is a vision of an identity building in Gothenburg, situated on the pier called Bananpiren.
