Ethnic discrimination is still a problem in the Swedish employment market. The Ombudsman against Ethnic Discrimination received 154 complaints relating to discrimination due to ethnicity in the working life in 2012. In addition, reported unemployment rates in Sweden differ markedly between native-born and foreign-born. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how protection against ethnic discrimination in recruitment looks like in Sweden and describe different methods an employer may use to prevent that ethnic discrimination occurs in recruitment situations. The first and second issue of the essay concern what protection there is in Sweden against ethnic discrimination in recruitment situations, based on international and national law. The traditional legal dogmatic method, which describes the valid law, is used in these sections.

Denna uppsats handlar om integrationen mellan matematik och byggteori på byggprogrammet på Rönninge gymnasium. Den tar upp tidigare forskning och aktuella utredningar som fastslår att yrkesräkning och infärgning av matematik i praktiska gymnasieprogram gör att eleverna lär sig mycket bättre. Undersökningen är endast gjord på Rönninge gymnasium och är därför specifik för den skolan, andra gymnasieskolor som har byggprogrammet kan ha andra upplägg. Fullständig integration mellan matematik och byggteori finns inte idag på Rönninge gymnasium, men visst samarbete förekommer i några byggkurser. Det jag vill visa på är att integration mellan kärnämnet matematik och karaktärsämnet byggteori är fullt möjligt, men att det som saknas är kurslitteratur som knyter samman de båda. I dagsläget är det upp till varje enskild gymnasieskola och varje enskild lärare att se till att infärgning av matematik i byggteorin genomförs.

In this project the focus has been on the system for recombination at Oskarshamn 2. The recombining systems have on several occasions switched paths due to low pressure before the last ejector that?s feeding the recombiner. Of the mentioned reason, events and several measuring points have been analyzed in this report since the installation of the recombining systems.In order to prove theories and demonstrate what may be the cause of this problem, we used heat balance calculations by the program Probera. Using the program, we can demonstrate that the catalytic process does not reach the desired temperature with the amount of combustible substance.

Uppsatsen byggde på en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi med syftet att undersöka hur personal på boenden för ensamkommande flyktingbarn uppfattade begreppet integration och dess innebörd. Empirin är insamlad genom sju kvalitativa intervjuer. De frågeställningar studien byggde på var: vilken innebörd lägger personalen i begreppet integration? Vad finns det för eventuella hinder för integration? Vad är målet/en med integration och när är de uppfyllda? Empirin från dessa intervjuer analyserades sedan genom en tematisk innehållsanalys och med ett abduktivt angreppssätt. Resultaten tolkades sedan med hjälp av postkoloniala teorier och begreppet KASAM.

To implement an ERP-system is not an easy process. The success of the implementation depend on many different variables. The most important one is perhaps the requirement process, to define what the organization wants and expects from the system. In this study, the advantages of a process mapping are examined, in relation to the phase where the requirements are expressed in an ERP-implementation. The conclusion is that a process mapping generates an increased communication with the supplier of the ERP-system, hence the business knows their processes and thereby what they want from the system.

Inledning: Såväl politiker, som media och många andra kritiserar undervisningen av svenska för invandrare (SFI) kraftigt, det diskuteras att invandrarna inte lär sig svenska i önskvärd omfattning och integrationen av de nyinkomna går dåligt. Studien har därför velat undersöka dessa frågor SFI-deltagarnas syn på andraspråksinlärning och deras integration.Syfte: Studien avser att undersöka vad SFI-deltagare anser om SFI:s medverkan till integration och andraspråksinlärning i det svenska samhället.Forskningsfrågor: 1. Vilka diskurser framträder i SFI-deltagarnas konstruktioner av vi och de andra?2. Vad är SFI-deltagarnas syn på SFI:s medverkan till deras integration i samhället?3. Hur har SFI konkret bidragit till SFI-deltagarnas integration, avseende t ex arbete, vänner, kontakter, studieframgång, boende och skola?Metod: Diskursanalys enligt diskurspsykologisk metod.Teori: Den här studien har sin teoretiska förankring i socialkonstruktionism med influenser av postkolonial teori och kritisk teori.Resultat: Antagandet var att bristande språkkunskaper skapar segregation och omvänt, vilket besannades. Sammanfattningsvis kan sägas att informanterna uttryckte en massiv kritik av SFI:s förmåga att hjälpa dem med integrationen och att de även var kritiska mot praktik och arbete och mot den språkträning som de då fick. Men de är inte enbart kritiska till SFI-undervisningen, de ser även positiva effekter av undervisningen.

To increase the quality and the cost-efficiency of contract archaeology in Sweden a revisedregulation for contract archaeology was established the 1st of January 2008. By including findstrategy as a concept with special demands in the regulation the Swedish Heritage Board is nowhoping that the conservators will be integrated earlier in the archaeological process and that theunpremeditated find accumulations will stop. This is making the competition between thearchaeological companies even harder. The questions are how the regulation have affected therole of the conservators in the field of contract archaeology today, what is affecting theintegration and the situation, and what can the different stakeholders do to make the collaborationbetween archaeologists and conservators more professional? The conservators are now hopingthat this is the change that will increase the collaboration with the archaeologists, which isimportant for the finds prosperity and the drive of information.To get an updated and generalised view of the impact of the regulation so far, phoneconversations and questionnaires were carried out with archaeologists, conservators, employees atcounty administrative boards and the Swedish Heritage Board.

Idrottsämnet som en möjlig väg till integration har under de senaste tre decennierna fått allt mer uppmärksamhet i forskarvärlden. Forskare har hävdat att integrering, både in i skolans och samhällets struktur, har stora möjligheter att ske genom användandet av idrott som ett internationellt och kulturöverskridande språk. Emellertid har dessa slutsatser till stor del dragits utan att fråga skolelever med en utomeuropeisk etnicitet om vad deras upplevelser kring skolidrotten som en integrationsarena är. Syftet med vår undersökning är att undersöka vilka upplevelser elever med utomeuropeisk etnicitet har av idrottsämnet som integrationsarena. Genom att ta reda på deras åsikter och upplevelser hoppas vi kunna få en bättre uppfattning om idrottsämnet har eller inte har en integrerande roll och i så fall på vilket sätt.

This thesis examines the impact that the Euoropean Agricultural Policy has had on the tobacco regime during the years from the start of the Common Market Organization for Tobacco in 1970 til the days of today. The Truman method has been employed to estimate the degree of change of trade creation or trade diversion on the domestic market and also on the worldmarket. From these facts an analysis has been made to investigate how and if a new reform of the CMOT will affect the European tobacco market. Through the CMOT, the European Commission has tried to rise the quality level and the prices of raw tobacco growing in Europe. The european market value for tobacco has been rising and a marginal grade of of trade creation within the union and a grade of trade diversion to third countries has been shown since the implementation of the tobacco regime.

The breakdown of the ratification process of the EU constitution was in Sweden blamed on a lack of a debate concerning European issues. The constitution can be seen as the best and latest, but in no way the only, example of this problem. The breakdown can also been seen as proof of a larger legitimacy crises within the EU. The aim of the study is to determine whether or not there really was of lack of debate concerning the constitution in Sweden. This question is theoretic¬ally connected to EU legitimacy through Habermas idea of a public sphere.

Research regarding the maintenance of the Sami language shows that the Swedish society has a big influence on the development of the Sami identity and also the maintenance of the Sami language. The assimilation of the Sami language and the traditional Sami religion was forced mainly by the Swedish education form and the Swedish church. In modern times many different forms of Sami identities have been developed due to the scattering of the Sami people, and also because of the urbanization of the Swedish society. The Sami nature religion is still alive in the Sami group, thanks to the mythological stories told and preserved by their oral  tradition. The purpose of this assignment was to make research of how the Sami identity is being presented in three current Swedish books.

Redan innan barn börjar skolan har de föreställningar inom matematik och naturvetenskap.Syftet med mitt examensarbete är att jämföra lärares arbetssätt gällande begreppsutveckling i matematik och naturvetenskap samt deras sätt att integrera dessa ämnen? i förhållande till målen och valda teorier. De mål jag avser är de som berör begreppsutveckling i läroplanen Lpo94, läroplanen för förskolan Lpfö98 samt kursplanerna för matematik och naturorienterade ämnen. Jag har använt mig av kvalitativa lärarintervjuer och observationer. Resultaten jag kunde se är att medvetenheten kring den matematiska begreppsbildningen är hög både bland förskolelärarna och lärarna i undersökningen.

When studying the voting behaviour of the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) concerning the Services Directive within the EU, what patterns can be observed? With a starting point in previous findings about voting behaviour, this study analyses the results of the given Roll-call votes in the European Parliament in regards to the Services Directive. Here I focus on the division of votes within and between the member states and the parliamentary political groups; with the aim to identify patterns that might show clash of opinion concerning this issue. I found that ideology seems to play a role in the MEPs voting behaviour. Parties on the far left reach the highest level of cohesion and together with the party on the far right, they voted against the Directive, but due to different reasons.

Det här är en systematisk litteraturstudie vars syfte är att se vilken betydelse skolors arbete med integration har på elever med utländsk bakgrund. I studien diskuteras det hur olika skolor arbetar med integration och vilka konsekvenser det leder till hos elever med utländsk bakgrund, samt vilka svårigheter dessa elever kan stöta på. Denna studie utgår från ett interkulturellt förhållningssätt. Metoden som använts i denna studie är databassökningar för att finna tidigare empiriska studier. Den här studien använde sig av 17 sökord totalt i fyra olika databaser.

Abstract In the contemporary world of information technology you find a multitude of applications and systems covering a broad spectrum of areas of need in different companies. One effect of this multitude of programs is the difficulty to make them exchange information with each other or to collaborate, since they are developed by different programming languages for different platforms, with different standards and different data formats. Our aim with this work is to describe how it is possible to tie these programs together to make them actually communicate with each other in order to exchange information, share their native methods and also to become a part of the overall business processes. In this integration task you will, among other things, find different levels of application integration such as data level, method level, application interface level and user interface level integration. Application integration also involves hardware components, called middleware, that facilitate the physical connection between applications. There is a range of different middleware products offered today on the market.
